Paid over £20k for a VW Tiguan from them. On the test drive. I found the battery to show signs of failure. Mentioned it to Salesman Conner. He claimed that their was no problem with the Battery, they were all like that. Anyway it had a 3-months warranty in case of trouble.. He now claims the conversation did not take place. Battery failed two months later and bonnet would not open to gain access to the battery. Not covered by warranty and left to me to sort it out. As other purchasers have commented, lots of time spent on DAM (Dealer Added Margin) items but no details given on 3-Month Warranty. .What is covered etc. Answer, not a lot I found out later. As with other people on the site, SatNav problems, Not working on test drive and then a very old SD card put in for me to collect car, not the new one promised. As mentioned by other users, poor cleaning . Disinfectant used to temporarily disguise the smell of smoke in the vehicle.. I am 74 years old, this was a major retirement purchase for me and I am very disappointed with my experience. I think that I was too trusting in what I was told, I thought that I was dealing with decent Company who sort any problems with the vehicle in the Warranty period. I was mistaken.

These people seem to have never heard of customer service. To begin it took about 30 minutes to get out for a test drive. Then we spent over two hours listening to one of their 'sales people' going through every product they offer and trust me, there is a lot. Was offering us products on finance before even giving us a quote for our part exchange. Was spoken to like we had never owned a car before, we kept insisting we didn't want any of their products as they were offered but alas this did not speed up the painful process as the 'sales person' explained how a guarantee works in great detail including potential quotes for having work done on a car we had yet to actually agree to purchasing. in the end we were so exhausted from listening to this we left. The following day we called them and said we will buy the car however we want a different sales person, this was met with rudeness and a defence of 'well he's only been working here for three weeks'; how about ensuring your staff are trained correctly before unleashing them onto the general public. But no, we were actually told we could come in at the end of the day and even then we would not be able to drive away with the car and this simple car sale would actually carry over into next week! On top of that, we were also told we would actually have to listen and go through every one of their products again today despite already hearing their attempt to make money off people by boring them to agreeing paying out for paint protection and wheel insurance the previous day! Oh, and did I mention that the 'sales person' cannot actually do anything or make a decision without going upstairs for minutes at a time, this lead to us being left alone frequently whilst I suspect they went to check things with a supervisor...? This place must be doing well financially as they clearly don't care about selling cars. The main reason for this negative but honest review; even after listening and refusing all the products the final price the 'sales person' quoted us for HP finance still included extra money for the guarantee - something we had not agreed to. Untrustworthy and only out to make money off people who don't know what they are doing and agreeing to. After buying and owning several cars over the last 15 years this is the worst experience we have been through. They lost a sale. In the spirit of fairness, the only good thing about this whole debacle was the price they offered for the part exchange, it was very good. But overall they are too pushy, trying to sell you products you don't need rather than selling the actual car. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Elliot and the team at car store, were pleasant, courteous and a pleasure to deal with, they did everything I asked of them, and made the whole experience an enjoyable one. Full marks and a lovely car to drive away with, no problem recommending car store, and especially Elliot who was a extremely helpful individual. Many thanks Paul.

Would recommend anyone to buy a car from here. Henry dealt with all the questions and queries we had ,went out of his way to help us understand all the buying process as it was all new to us . He was a delight to deal with ☺️ All the staff we spoke to were friendly , Luke was very helpful too . An issue with a stone chip on the windscreen is being dealt with promptly after it was noticed . Really appalling experience so far. I test drove an Audi in July and very much liked the car so placed the deposit. My partner also mentioned that the SD card didn't work on the test drive and they confirmed one would be put in for collection. The next week I went to collect it and found that, after being handed the keys, the car had a huge dent on one of the back panels and a load of scratches. Thankfully I had said I wanted to see the car before signing that it was all ok (which they had asked me to do in the office). Apparently no staff knew anything about the dent but I was assured that it was an easy fix by the dent repair chap and a good clean to buff out the scratches. The SD card also still didn't work. I was told that he would call me the next day regarding the dent and that the SD would be with me in the next 2 working days. After two months they finally sent the dent repair guy out who instantly said it was major bodywork, something he couldn't do, and essentially that they often waste people's time like this. Last week, ten weeks after buying the car and reporting the damage, they finally asked if I could take it in for the bodywork. They had it all week and I picked it up yesterday to find the car was left horrendously filthy, the wheel arch hanging off, the SD card STILL not fixed and the scratches still blatantly obvious despite being hid by a new layer of dirt. God only knows when they will actually resolve the problems but I imagine it will involve a lengthly legal process at this rate.

Enquired about a car and got a part ex valuation that I was happy with. Dealt with Elliot Gale who completely lacked any interest in selling the vehicle. Happy to take the deposit but then wouldn’t have any face to face contact. He wanted to conduct the sale purely via email. He eventually set up a video call and within an hour of arranging that got the receptionist to ring and cancel. Email sent to request return of deposit. It worries me that if they can’t commit to sell a vehicle what would happen if I had issues with it afterwards.

WARNING - do not purchase a car from this dealership, they actually advertised and sold my 21 year old daughter a car claiming it had 12000 miles on the clock ( from the trip counter ) when it actually had 39000 on the clock. When returning the car NO compensation was offered for their mistake BUT they had the audacity to charge her £150 to return the car the following day claiming she had driven over the 250 mile limit allowed to return a car. She lives nearly 200 miles from the dealership ! Oh and as she had to leave a £250 deposit to send the V5 given she had private plate they are deducting the money from this. The sales assistant Connor is so far refusing to answer emails resulting in no other option but for her to claim a refund through the small claim courts. This was a significant purchase for a young girl that has only left a bitter taste in terms of what should have been a joyful experience, shame on you Car Store !,
