Terrible experience at the Car Store in Shrewsbury. Time wasters. Having agreed to purchase the car, salesman claimed the wrong price had been on the windscreen and that we would have to pay £400 more. We walked away disgusted.

I have just bought my dream car, a Mercedes-Benz SLK 200. The vehicle I viewed was exactly what I wanted Amy the young lady that assisted was , friendly and efficient, no hard sell, I would recommend both car store Shrewsbury, and Amy. Frustrated that I seem to have a puncture.

Bought a 7 series BMW from the Car Store Shrewsbury, left a deposit, went back to pay the balance next day, only to be told car couldn't be found on the system and to come back another day. The following day I was told it needed a new MOT, MOT failed on a broken front spring, I was advised by various independent garages, (including a different Evans Halshaw workshop), to change both springs otherwise car could be unstable. I informed the sales manager of this and my concerns. The next day received a call to say the car had been repaired and was ready for collection, when I pushed to see if both springs had been replaced I was told no. They refused to change the other spring I so had to pay myself for the second spring to be changed, communication and call centre was abysmal, left several messages that were never returned, was told on 3 different occasions car was ready for collection, did a 80 mile round trip to collect but on arrival was told car was not ready, still waiting to collect car! will never buy a car from the Evans Halshaw stable again.
