Purchased my vehicle in November 2019, car is advertised as having '100 point AA check' yet didnt even have bulbs in the headlights when I got it home. Since then I have complained about several issues within warranty time and nothing has been fixed. Customer service are useless as soon as you walk out with your keys, I was promised a refund with an authorative email from head of sales if the issues persisted (which to no one's surprise - they have). Even then, I asked for my refund, and still have not heard anything 4 weeks later. I have never known customer service so, so poor. As mentioned below, it appears the staff create their own reviews because there is no way in hell I would give this company more than 1 star, if I could give them 0 I would. Avoid this place like the plague.

Viewed a car on Wednesday afternoon and wanted to take it but still waiting for it Saturday. Finance company saying they are waiting for details from Car Store, Car Store say all sent. Prices non negotiable yet price dropped on finance. Finance figure quoted was and agreed, on application this jumped by £140 a month. Lack of communication. Defiantly not drive away in 30 minutes. Also claim to offer 7 day money back but after speaking to finance company they are not able to do it. Would not recommend

I left a message last night stating after being promised five times l would get a call from the area manager. l still haven't recieved one.Suprize suprize still being ignored.l can only assume he is so busy dealing with all the other unhappy costomers judging by your recent reviews.

I have just bought a Nisan Qashquai from Car Store, Shrewsbury. The buying experience was fairly smooth but the hard sell concerning warranties etc. etc. was bit too intensive. At the time I agreed to the £299 warranty but changed my mind the next day and was refunded without problems. As I am not up to date with the technology in modern cars, some aspects of the car`s operation were unclear to me so I rang and asked for some assistance which was readily offered. I went there for the purpose and was immediately greeted by a most helpful and well informed young man called Ian who I cannot praise highly enough; nothing was too much trouble for him and he helped me and my wife hugely. I have read some worrying bad Car Store reviews but the appalling experiences documented were not anything like mine. Prices of cars seem non negotiable but my impression is that compared to other local dealers they are competitive.

Went to sell a car there, had to wait 1.5 hours even though we had a booked appointment. The online valuation was over £6500 on the day befor the appointment and also the day after the appointment.the car was in perfect condition, At the actual valuation they advised that they have to get a val from head office and then came back with a price over £200 lower..only reason given was market conditions change. nothing wrong with car. Funny how online val still says over £6500..no change in market conditions there.So here is the first lie of many.The whole process was painful and insulting. It seams they over value cars online to get you through the door. I am now reporting this to trading standards.

I got a car from Car Store Coventry recently as i was desperate and was told the car had been serviced and all was well. When i went to pick up the car, the battery was dead and had to be taken to the workshop again. I recently found out that the car was last serviced about 2 years ago(i was told it was serviced recently despite no stamp on the service portfolio) and when i asked for proof from the company, different excuses popped up. Really sad thay Companies like this exists in the Uk. I would not advise anyone to deal with them in the future.

Everything bad that you hear about car dealers is still happening at this company, The after care received from the Car Store in Shrewsbury is the worst I have ever experienced buying a vehicle. The vehicle broke down 7 days after buying it despite their apparent 127 point AA inspection, it took 3 weeks to get it repaired. I had to organise the repair myself and take the car to Stafford and get a train back & the same to collect it when it was eventually fixed. I was mislead into believing that the Owners Manual and Service Record & MOT would be posted to me as they had not been received by the Shrewsbury Dealership when I collected the car. After 3 months of chasing I was finally told that these documents had been lost.. They then proceeded to tell me that they weren't obliged to supply the documents despite promising to. When I complained to their Head Office they said the decision from the Shrewsbury Branch was final, when I pressed further explaining that the service was terrible they offered me £25 which I refused. A real pity as the set up looks very professional but their attitude is not.

Sunday greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as George. Who then asked Reece to assist us as he was busy. Reece took us for a test drive. We got back he was informative & past us on to George who we completed our decision & was guided through warranties etc with no pressure! We returned on Wednesday to pick up the car up. George sorted... tax, change of owner of car etc & many other things. Buying a car at car store was pleasant, easy not pressured. George is an asset to the company. Excellent customer service!
