Car Dealer Reviews is an
official partner of Auto Trader
Had my car since December 2023 it’s now going into October 2024! They avoid telephone calls and texts so there is no contact what so ever! We have resorted to taking them to court as we had 3 parking tickets which they had run up and when they did answer when I called of another phone they promised to pay the tickets then we had debt collectors come to the door so had no choice but to pay them the sum of 500 so please be aware that this company are not only scammers but thieves also! I wouldn’t even give them one star but you have to put at least one.

My partner paid £13000 for a Ford focus from here 66 plate not even 8 months into owning the car the engine blew another 5 grand on the engine they have also changed their deal ship name used to be called “motoring world” after they had over 70 reviews on their Google profile saying to avoid avoid avoid they’ve sinced changed their name to car world I promise this is not the place to buy a car
Bought this car a year ago no service stamp even though they said it had been serviced jays attitude was not good he said not all garages stamp the book, they were so rude and cocky, no customer service at all they are definitely dodgy I would honestly avoid these people. My husband rang him today and asked again about. The stamp he was rude and cocky didn’t want to know laughed at my Husband. We have to get rid of car due to Ulez a service stamp would help for us to sell but they didn’t want to know.
I bought a Kia Soul from this garage thru 24/7 finance.Promised it would be serviced, cleaned, fueled . I drove the car away no water in windscreen washers, washers motor was broken.passenger window would not move it needed new motor. After complaining heard nothing and complained to Finance company. .It cost me £450 to repair . Do not buy from here - they are a disgrace to the trade and should be shut down.

This company car world , Slough branch. sold me a fake warranty, the assistants there can’t be trusted, car was faulty and the gold warranty they sold me was fake!!they almost lied about everything. Avoid them at all cost !!
They won't even let you take a close look at the car. They will repeatedly interrupt your viewing trying to rush you to the office ASAP. Resist interruptions and take your time checking. They are rude and disrespectful. The guy behind the desk in front of the door won't answer the most trivial, legitimate questions. Instead, he will aggressively repeat your question back to you with exaggerated emphasis, as if to say you are an idiot to ask. He will try to put you in your place, so you don't ask any more questions and you remain puzzled as to what is going to happen next in the process. Get assertive - repeat the question twice as loud and insist on a meaningful answer. You can try the car on the adjacent road - 60 yards to a dead end and back. You will be told to do it on your own, without the dealer in the car, which probably means that the dealer insurance is not in force. You can reach maybe 25 - 30mph for a two seconds on that road. Take your time - worm up the engine all the way, look under the bonnet, under the car from every angle, listen to the engine, use torch and take pictures. Check for leaks. You won't be able to try driving faster and go all the way to the top gear (mind you shot bearings can only be heard when you go faster, etc etc). If you get a promise of service, fix or repair - you will not get any proof or receipt for the work they carry out on the car other than a worksheet - no work details, no name of the business, address or phone number, no responsibility. Have they really carried out the service or repairs they promised? Where? Spec of oil? Or did they just issue a worthless piece of paper, and no stamp in the service book? When things go wrong you have no proof or claim. I've seen a car's for sale service book with past service records. The service station "stamps" had no address, phone or name of business. The stamp consisted only of random big letters and looked like it had been made of a potato by children in a primary school. Admittedly that could have been one off car and not a dealer's fault. Make sure you know that there is an additional charge added to the price at the end so in fact the price is higher. If you later come back because something went wrong with your car you will be likely to find that the business, in the same place, run by the same people is not responsible. They just closed the company you bought from and open a new business under a different name. Legally they are not responsible, and you are on your own. They do this frequently. Even if you are a car expert, or you will bring an expert with you, you will be taking some risk. Not recommended - unless you are prepared to lose your money. Take care!
One of the worst places places I’ve seen. Terrible customer service and downright crooks. Was told that the car will be serviced and checked for all faults before collection. Came back a week later and all they’d done was give the car a clean, no real work had been attended to. Reverse sensors were fine when we first saw the car but turned out the be faulty. When we called them out in it they admitted it wasn’t working but wouldn’t budge on price. Had the cheek to say we should’ve told them to check the sensors (even though we would assume to be fine) - then say we shouldn’t make assumptions! Don’t fall the 5* review they’ve printed themselves, it’s nonsense! Crooks all around, Do not spend your time or money there!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Saw a Corsa on Autotrader, after weeks of 'it'll be in tomorrow' finally viewed it. In hindsight all smoke and mirrors, raining, dark. Told just passed MOT, reg plate slightly damaged but NO OTHER ISSUES. Engine light comes on 12 days later and goes into limp mode on a scary bend. Take it to garage for inspection, just a few finds: scrap bonnet, thermostat housing leaking coolant, rear bumper brackets broken, headlight broken, throttle sensor low. They accused me of causing all the damage. After months of ignoring letters sent demanding a full refund, finally it was obtained when threatened with court. These guys are putting people at serious risk, how they are still running baffles me. Looks like a lot of people have had an identical experience to mine. Never received my v5c. Complete waste of time, money and energy.
