Went into Carpoint of Peterborough to purchase a little runaround and found a little Citroen C3 advertised on Autotrader. The forecourt was nicely presented with nice welcoming salesman whom located the car and showed me around it. I have to say the car was clean throughout for its age and mileage. The car itself had a missing rear parcel shelf however, the salesman ordered another one in. The car was priced very reasonably and was able to drive away the very same day which was a bonus. Overall Carpoint is a very professional establishment with a selection of cars in stock. I can personally recommend to others out there looking for a car. Thank you.

I recently purchased a car from here and got a great deal. I went to look at a few cars in the Peterborough area with other dealerships but then I found the right car and the right price from Carpoint. The car was in a superb condition for its age and mileage and the price I paid was good.

if I had my way I would give carpoint of peterborough zero stars. Iam 81 years old, still active with all my marbles or so I thought, decided that I needed a small run around for the next 3 1/2 years before giving up driving, search the net and came across lots of adverts for car point of Peter Borough. Decided to give them a try spoke to a man called Steve and asked him what he had to suit my needs, said that he had a very nice Citroen C5 for sale, told me lots of things about the car, I asked him what the insurance would be and he said that it shouldn't affect my insurance as it a lower rate than my present car .I explained to him that it would be a few days before I could get to see the car as I lived some 70 miles away and would need someone to bring me. now bear in mind that my wife was listening to the conversation with me on speaker phone, .he then suggested that we put a deposit on the car ,my wife asked was the deposit fully refundable,to which he replied, yes, 100% and that we had a 21 day cooling off period .if we decided we didn't particularly like the car for any reason,, so being gullible. We coughed up £500 deposit on a debit card. PLEASE note I said debit card,. that afternoon I checked the information that he had given me regarding that particular model of car, and a great number of things did not match up. Also, my insurance would increase by nearly £200,, so the next morning we phoned to tell him that we no longer wanted The car because of the insurance .He replied that was no problem.. It will be in your bank later today,. Obviously the money never materialised. and they refuse to answer my emails and my telephone calls, reported the problem to police fraud squad who said they would look into it also reported the problem to my bank. who said they would get the money back after 20 days I checked with the bank. They then put me through to the bank's fraud squad, who took statements and copies of my emails and said that they had to give him 32 days to respond, he actually responded on the 31st day stating that I had been made aware from the start that the deposit was non-refundable and they also said it stated so on their webpage, which basically is saying that his word is stronger than mine, police stated no fraud to follow up, bank then said that because I used a debit card rather then a credit card they could not refund my money unless I could provide written proof that he hadn't told me it was not REFUNDAB. SO THE MORAL OF THIS STORY IS NEVER TRUST ANYONE AT CAR POINT PETERBOROUGH but unfortunately, I did..APPARENTLY this company has been taken to small claims courts on several occasions, some people who won their day are still waiting for payments, so never trust this company or their parent company CC S car sales .T these guys really know how to bend the law

I wanted to wait a few weeks before submitting a review about Carpoint of Peterborough. I want to say how great these guys are at communicating with customers. Every question about the car I was interested in was answered promptly. I am overall very pleased in the level of customer satisfaction given by these guys. A bit about the car it is absolutely spot on. It drives beautiful and would be very happy indeed to recommend other people to buy their cars from here.
