Having read some of the reviews on here I wasn't too sure whether to buy my car from here or not. I saw a Mini Cooper for sale and overall it looked, sounded and drove great but I wanted to double check to make sure everything was satisfactory before i purchased it. I spoke to a salesman Parvez and asked him if I could get the RAC to have a mechanical check before I purchase it just for extra peace of mind, the salesman fully authorised it. The RAC came the next morning and fully inspected the car and turned out the car was very well maintained for its age and mileage. The RAC engineer gave me the green light so instantly I paid for the car and drove it away the same day. I have to say that I love my new Mini. I paid slightly more than what it's retail value was but well worth it. Thanks
Excellent customer service from start to finish. I wasn't very sure which car to choose between but the salesman Parvez helped me find the right car. At first I wasn't to sure but after checking the vehicle this ticked all of the boxes. So guys thank you very much for all your help and support.
Be Very Wary in response to Sandie
I'm guessing this is another fake review, as the owner usually mentions himself by name when he writes his reviews. But if not - Sandie, please take your car to a garage you trust immediately and get it thoroughly checked out. Many people here have taken cars home only to find problem after problem after problem. If you're with 30 days, it's much easier to get a full refund.

Glad I have read these reviews. Was going to travel 50 miles to view a car - will not be bothering now. Thank you all so much.
Car I bought from Carpoint in Peterborough was a Skoda Fabia. I was looking for a small car for my daughter and found this car from Carpoint. The car was in a good condition, had a few scratches but generally ok. The car was slightly overpriced but overall very satisfied with the car.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE. Like many other people I too had a terrible experience with this company. The car I bought had the the engine management light disconnected so it wouldn`t illuminate to show faults, the door solenoid switches fail when they get warm, meaning the doors will not open on the handle from the outside. The reversing lights do not work and worst of all the engine cooling fan doesn`t work meaning the car will overheat if it runs for a time stuck in slow moving traffic. When you ring the so called customer care line it just goes to answerphone and once the sales team know your number they just don`t answer.I am going to email and send a recorded delivery letter informing them of court action unless they answer my calls,I will keep in touch over the outcome.

Hi we have also had a very bad experience with these when we bought a car in July also. We are going to be contacting the consumer ombudsman and reading reviews and being contacted by someone from Facebook regarding our bad review on there Facebook page which funnily there Facebook page has now been deleted. I think we need to all get our heads together and I think that we may make more of an impact and getting this company shut down they are ripping to many people of with there shody cars. Please If you would like to get in touch email me at rachael5@live.co.uk or Rachael Wilks on Facebook. Thanks Rachael
I bought a car from CarPoint of Peterborough which was advertised as being in full working condition and when asking about any faults the dealer confirmed to both myself and my father that everything was in full working condition. On the website the car was advertised as having air conditioning. After purchasing the car and driving it home it was clear the air conditioning didn't work. I took the car to a local garage for inspection who said the pressure sensor in the air conditioning was faulty which is why it was not working. Also, the drivers window does not function correctly and the tracking is off and the car pulls to the right. When speaking to the dealer he claimed he knew about the air conditioning but 'forgot' to mention it when we asked if everything worked. My father has spoken to the dealer many times who has been angry down the phone and has refused to pay for any work to be done. The car was advertised as having air conditioning which was why it was purchased in the first place. Had I been aware it did not work I would not have bought the car as the sole reason for purchasing a new car was to have air conditioning. When asked to refund the car the dealer refused and told us to get solicitors involved if we wanted our money back. However, we are fully within our rights under the Consumers Act to refund a car that is faulty and not as advertised which we explained to him. He did not seemed bothered at all and just said to get the courts involved if we wanted our refund. This is unnecessary stress for a car which was confirmed as being in full working order! He has since blocked my mobile, house phone and fathers phone number and is not responding to emails. I am now taking legal proceedings against the company and I have reported them to the trading standards agency and auto watchdog who are planning to investigate the company further. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
Car bought was good. Service was ok from the salesman. No discount was given but got £50 free fuel so can't really complain...

Hi Tim, sorry to hear you've bought a car from Carpoint. As you'll see if you read down this page, a lot of us have bought cars from them, only to discover major faults hiding under the bonnet. I'd recommend you take it to a garage you trust as soon as possible and get it looked over. If you find anything within 30 days, it makes it much easier to get money back from them. Don't expect them to help though. Best of luck!
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE! Brought a car from these and now have a V expensive ornament on the drive. Took the car to be re MOT'd 2 weeks after buying the car and it failed massively! Funny enough none of the things it failed on showed up on Carpoint of Peterborough MOT! This company happily sold me a car not caring what happens to it!!
First very helpful and nice people. Then when the car turned out to be faulty they changed drastically. They denied everything and would not take the car back. Before buying any car from them do all the necessary checks. The car needs repairs in the amount of £2000 which is more then 50% of the value. I told them that I needed a reliable and safe car as I have a 6 months old baby and they lied straight into my eyes. Also check what is covered by the warranty they offer, for instance DPF. I took the car for a test drive but all the lights on dash board were blanked off so I would not know about the fault. I feel so stupid that I trusted them. Don't make the same mistake!!!!!!!
I would recommend Carpoint of Peterborough. They have good quality used cars at reasonable prices.
Great car dealership. Fantastic service all round. Very happy with the services provided.
