I’ve giving this absolutely dreadful dealership one star only because it’s not possible to give them non! Wow, what can I say about this bunch of uncaring incompetent numpties. I made my first mistake buying a used car from them 2 months ago. On delivery the car was still grubby inside (I even found items belonging to the last owner under the seat!) and the issues I’d asked them to rectify after my test drive had not been resolved. Less than 2 months later the car developed turbo issues and went onto limp mode. A week on, my car is still with them and not one person has had the professionalism to even phone and update me. It appears that they are more than happy to communicate with you when you are buying but after that they clearly don’t give a rat ass. My partner even had to do a 60 mile round trip to speak to them face to face. No offer of a courtesy car, no apologies, no answer as to when I may actually get my car back and Im fuming. I can honestly say that this is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! We had planned to go back and purchase a second vehicle for my partner after he’d spotted one he liked in the showroom, thankfully we dodged that bullet and went to the Hyundai dealership in Doncaster who are a much more professional outfit. I suggest you do the same.

I was accosted by some time waster supposedly sales guy who could not answer any questions about the uk of 5 all I wanted was to look and feel the car he just asked stupid questions and didn’t allow me time to explore, because of this I left the showroom after a small amount of time, I went the next day to another dealer in Yorkshire and ordered a New Ionic 5 spending over £50k you lost a sale big time
I contacted dealership this morning after seeing a brand new car advertised on Auto Trader. The first question I was asked was for my name, house number and postcode. The second was would I be prepared to pay a £500 deposit today! This was before any figures or finance preferences had been discussed. I said that I would have to speak with my husband first and I was told that it’s not worth them working out a deal if I’m not prepared to put a deposit down…I’m sorry but if that’s the way they do business then I’m glad I told them to forget it……Rude arrogant sales people who don’t deserve to be in a job!

Agreed to buy a Renault Zoe in early December for collection before the end of the month. Paid £250 deposit and waited to be asked to go and collect the car. However the car was not 'in stock' as described and at the end of the month even though the car hadn't arrived with them, they insisted on full payment, or cancel the deal. Seemed too risky to pay for what could have been a fictional car, with no firm delivery date, so asked for deposit to be returned. Still waiting, more than two weeks later and the deposit hasn't come back despite apparently having been 'processed' on 3rd January.
Bought a i30’ within 8 month , paint started peeling on bonnet and surrounding area ,was lead to believe at sale any defects on paintwork would be covered by warranty, not to be apparently it had had a re spray before I had bought it conveniently Barnsley said they knew nothing about it so said it wasn’t covered spent £11000 on car and thought from a reputable garage I thought , so I believe I was miss sold , they think it may be finished but it’s not , don’t buy from there customer care is none existent

Where do I start?Was looking for an ateca on auto trader and seen a deal with cars2 seat in Barnsley and decided to reserve a car so paid the £99 reserve fee so I could discuss it with my partner overnight.After talking it over I decided not to go for the car and phoned then next day to let them know we wouldn't be going for it.I spoke to a guy who said he would pass on the message to get the refund for the deposit returned.Waited a week and decided to phone back only to be told it hadn't been done and to wait 5 days for it to go thorough.5 days later no refund so I contacted them again to be told it was getting sent to accounts that day for a refund and wouldn't be paid the week after.Next week came and still nothing.Contacted them again to be informed it was just getting sent with the the end of day paperwork as we speak.Another week went on and still no refund.Another phone call made and was told the same thing and still nothing.After about the 6th time dealing with rude arrogant sales guys who couldn't care a less I asked to speak to the manager who was conveniently missing and that someone would pass it on to get sorted.Still no refund and another call was made and still the manager was unavailable again.Eventually I had to get my credit card involved and spend hours on the phone making a case to them to retrieve my funds.I also phoned back the garage for the 8th time to ask what was happening and again more fobbing off.Overall I'm pleased I never bought the car from these cowboys and would advise anyone to think about what aftercare you would receive if you did.Surely if i was the manager i would of took this case on and sorted the issue out 2nd time round but no.This dealership don't care,and the rudeness and arrogance of the staff told me everything I needed to know.Its taken me over a month to get my money back and wasted time and effort on the phone.I’ve been more then fair and gave them plenty of time to resolve the issue but for me they are only interested in a quick sale.Pleased to say my credit card company retrieved my money back and I can simply say I dodged a bullet.👎👎👎👎👎
We used Cars2 Ltd in Barnsley and dealt with Owen Pearman. We bought a car on the understanding that a fault would be put right (this was supported in writing). When the car was delivered to us, the fault had not been corrected. Since then, lies, ignored emails and a complete lack of aftersales care. The sort of people who give car salespeople a bad name. AVOID.

Well what can I say ...... Fabulous experience from start to finish. No high pressure salesmen, very polite, knowledgeable and curtious and even better, they have great cars! So good in fact, I bought one and am absolutely delighted. Can't recommend them highly enough, their service is 5*. Thank you John and Howard for looking after me so well but more so for my fabulous new car, I'm over the moon with it.
