I an a student and was looking to buy a mini at cars of christchurch. I rang them up about one of the minis they were selling and they asked me to put a £50 deposit down, which would be totally refundable if I changed my mind. After seeing a different mini from a private seller which i prefered I decided not to go through with the mini from christchurch. I rang and they infomed me that teh salesman who does refunds is not in and is in on monday. So i rang up on monday and the same thing happened. I put the deposit down in September, they have now blocked my number and have spoken to my dad and his company and lied to them saying I’ll have my money in my account by the end of the day. My dad and I are going to have to drive down to them and complain and complain until we get our money back. This company is ridiculous, and vile. I wish i read the reviews before I rang them up. I want them shut down completley. My dad and I have said that any customers we see at there garage we are going to warn completley! Please don’t make any deals or trades with them, they will have you!

Bought my first car from here last week and it was good value and has had no problems or signs of concern. Cars of Christchurch were helpful and friendly, would recommend.

brought a mini from the guys down at cars of christchurch, they gave me a fair price for my part ex and put a new mot on the mini as it only had 3 months. All went very smoothly in all, would happily recommend to anyone wanting a decent used car.

Thought id leave a review as this is my second car I have bought from Cars of Christchurch. Very good my last one I part exchanged for new e class which is lovely. Never had a problem with last car had for 18 months. So I never left review last time as I was happy so only horrible people seem to leave reviews thought id write my experience.

Brought my wife’s car from these guys for her birthday on collection they put a full tank of petrol and a bunch of flowers for the wife thanks guys at cars of Christchurch will be doing more business again in the future

Make: Vauxhall Model: Zafira Engine Size: 1.9 CDTi Variation: SRI Registration: KV10 YBE Purchase Date: 10/04/2018 Total Amount Spent: £2034.50 I am writing this to make people aware of a company called Cars of Christchurch. I bought my Zafira from them in April 18 as advertised on their website. It was advertised as in good condition, well looked after and so on. We had been looking at getting one for quite a while. The sale took place and we part exchanged my previous car which more than covered the cost and I even got some cash back which I thought was great. They even agreed to put a new MOT on it and cover the cost of any work that needed doing following the MOT. We took the car to Park Garage in Winton a few days later and the car failed it's MOT due to the near side lower suspension arm needing to be replaced and both front tyres. We had the tyres replaced at one of the dealers tyre places which was good and they informed me they would order the suspension arm and have their mechanic get it fixed. This never happened. And boy do I wish I'd read the reviews. After weeks of no contact I got an email offering me a refund for the Zafira which baffled me. Surely they should have been honouring their 3 month legal warranty shouldn't they? Anyways my previous car had been sold so had I took the car back and got a refund we would have been without a car. Not ideal when your wife is disabled and you have a 2 year old. At this point I informed them that I would pay for the repairs and they could reimburse me which they refused despite me legally being able to nominate any repairer I deem fit to do the work. So I had the suspension arm done by my local garage costing me £115.20 which wasn't unreasonable however Cars of Christchurch had refused to pay. Before I got a chance to make any next steps I thought I had better put the car in for a service and a checkover as it was running a bit sluggish and the air con wasn't working. My garage phoned me later that day saying they had never seen a car in such a state. £600+ later they had it sorted. A few weeks later I had the air con fixed at the cost of £300. I thought to myself okay that's fine I will just make a claim through the small claims court. Just as I was planning to start proceedings I was driving to an event in London on Thursday the 26/07/2018 for the weekend and the car broke down in Aldershot and had to be left in a garage there which meant I needed to hire a car in order to still be able to attend the event this cost me £150 which I will also be claiming back from Cars of Christchurch as well as the latest repair charges of £820.73 plus the cost of a hire car to back to Aldershot to collect my vehicle. The garage in Aldershot also informed me that it looked like the car had been tampered with in order to get it off the forecourt. My advice to anyone looking to buy a car whether it be in Bournemouth or elsewhere and willing to travel. Do not buy a car from Cars of Christchurch! I have now seen so many others come forward with similar complaints. And if you look at the reviews online you will see so many similar complaints. Too many to be acceptable. Final word on this is that I will also be writing to trading standards as well as any other organisations that manage the motor industry.

I paid a £100 deposit, which I was told is refundable, and had an RAC inspection ( which they tried to discourage me from having.) The car which I thankfully didnt buy was a total wreck and not as described. After 3 weeks of phone calls and emails, they simply have ignored my repeated polite requests to at least return my deposit as promised. I am now £250 out of pocket and in the process of taking them to the small claims court. Do not go near these people, the person who did the RAC check said this is not the first time they had seen a car in this state that Cars of Christchurch had tried to pass on under false pretences. I cant state this enough, please dont go near them.
