Bought a car from Cars2 Peugeot in Barnsley, Paul the car salesmen was really helpful would recommend it.

Rob at Cars 2 Peugeot in Barnsley was fantastic he even took time out to bring a car to my work place to take a look at which led me to buy that car, he spent time with me going through all the details taking me on 2 test drives with this car and 1 with another 1, I couldn't ask for any better service than what I received from him. from the moment I walked through the door welcomed with a friendly face and a hot drink while he listened to what it was I was looking for in a car thankyou Rob

Please read this review if you intend on buying a used car from Cars2 in Barnsley. I purchased my car from them on the 15th of September 2018. The sales representative, Will, was friendly and helpful. During the test drive I noticed that the car made a noise when setting off. I mentioned this to Will and was advised that the car was yet to go through its mechanical inspection and it would likely be picked up and fixed then. I was further re-assured that if it wasn't and the noise continued (i.e. it wasn't just the handbrake sticking) to bring the car back in and it would be fixed. I proceeded with the purchase on this basis. 2 weeks later the noise was still present so I booked the vehicle in for an assessment, being confident that they would rectify it as agreed. To my complete shock I received a call saying that, although they could hear the noise, they would not look to further diagnose the car as the clutch is "working" and "safe". At this point I raised concern about the fact that an unknown fault cannot be deemed "safe", that during the test drive I was told that this would be rectified and that, as per the Consumer Rights Act, the vehicle should be "of satisfactory quality" (i.e. free from minor defect, as the act states). When this was escalated to Tony, a manager, his response was dismissive and I was told that they would not accept my rejection of the vehicle. Consequently, I have spoken to my finance company to reject the vehicle. Thankfully, when I explained the situation they reassured me that it sounds as though my complaint will be upheld. As an aside, the vehicle I traded in was initially listed at approximately £9,500 which is about £1,400 more than the Glass's Guide Retail Value and £600 more than I originally paid for it when it was 18 months newer with 8,000 less miles and much cleaner bodywork! Please be wary of this dealer if you are interested in any of their vehicles; I am shocked that a main agent franchise could be so deceitful and unethical.

Cars 2 Peugeot Barnsley don’t even deserve a 1 star review. Appalling services we’ve received. 2 cars we have purchased now and both had the exact same fault as one another and both at just over 30k Miles. Refused to accept any responsibility and wanted me to pay for “them” to diagnose the problem. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!

Just purchased a new car from Cars 2 Peugeot Hyundai in Barnsley and what a pleasant experience. Very easy going staff and our sales rep Rob was very supportive and helpful. There was no pressure sales tactics. Nice in this day and age to find a company that works with and towards the benefit of its customers.

We recently purchased a new 208 from a salesperson called Rob from Car2 Peugeot in Barnsley. The car was delivered on the expected date and Rob ensured that the purchase went smoothly and swiftly. He was very attentive to our requirements, polite, knowledgeable and professional whilst maintaining a friendly persona. He also ensured that we were happy with the purchase and fully ofay with the overall operating of the car before we left the dealers. This took some of the stress out of what in the past has been a somewhat traumatic experience. It has been a pleasure to make this purchase with confidence that we will be able to return to the dealership for advice if needed.

I'm glad I can give these a review which they do not deserve at all I wouldn't deal with them ever again I could get you plenty of customers what would say the same go else were they are not good in anyway be warned.

I have just collected my new car after having the best customer service. Rob and Ky are so attentive and considerate. They actually listen to what the customer wants without any pressure. The change over from my old car was effortless and my new car had a beautiful bunch of flowers waiting in it for me. The attention to detail and customer satisfaction shown was beyond my expectation. As a single lady, looking for a new car can be quite daunting but both Rob and Ky made me feel at ease. I am overjoyed with my car and the whole staff in this showroom. I would have no hesitation is giving a glowing recommendation to anyone who asks and if possible I would have scored 10 stars !!!
