My partner bought a car from Murray at Cars4You, and it has been a nightmare. When the car broke down, she experienced immense stress and received no support, as they refused to take responsibility for repairs. After investigating, we discovered that Cars4You has an 87% negative review rate online. If you doubt my experience, check review sites like Trustpilot or AutoTrader.co.uk. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any further information.

Hi, I think you might have the wrong Cars 4 U we are in Kidderminster and do not have a Murray here nor ever have. Please could you check if you have the correct dealership as we are completely independent from any other Cars 4 U and have no connection what so ever to any other businesses trading under the same name.
6 April (my birthday)bought from cars 4 u ,,Nissan Note.It had been over 30 years since I had driven a manual, so I was a bit dubious about test drive. Ian however took me to a safe area and I was given as much time as I wanted to drive car.#3 or 4 days after taking delivery I noticed when topping up screen wash bottle ,water was going on floor.I returned car .and the problem was resolved while I waited.Ian actually drove to parts dept.returned with bottle and pump and they were fitted there and then. The car has been trouble free ,is in excellent condition and obviously been looked after. Also has 11stamps in service book Ian also delivered the car exactly as requested.,all in all a great experience from start to finish. 5 stars out of 5 for me.

Unfortunately I have to give one star because I don't have the option to leave none. My elderly father purchased a Ford kuga from this dealer at Kidderminster and to be honest I had a few alarm bells at some of the details that were being given to him at the time (e.g.how to start a push button start vehicle!!) but thought perhaps I was being over cautious... Turns out I wasn't!! The car was purchased and dad drove away Happy with his new car after being driven there by one of my nieces - the 20+ miles journey.. Day 2 - the ignition started playing up - which then progressively got worse closely followed by the central locking system packing up..... Resulting in having to use the key to unlock the car causing the alarm to sound constantly..... Followed by numerous RAC visits at different locations.. By the end of week two.... The vehicle is now a non starter... Dad rang the dealer to ask for a copy of their 3 month warranty and was told he'd have had it at the time of sale..... Erm no!!.... He was handed a receipt and nothing more and presumed a copy was in the car already. Begrudgingly a copy was sent to him and to be honest it's not even worthy of being toilet paper.... It is basically a list of clauses that covers the dealers backs. Dad emailed cars 4 you and stated the car is a non starter and needs repairing and that it would need collecting because of this reason. The basic reply was '' yeah bring it down and we'll take a look"...... How? It won't start 'you prize plank!!' (perhaps the earlier mentioned 20+ miles is a little bit too far for them to pick up?) ........ Then after my father has himself been hiring a car for three weeks to get around and had his new kuga on the drive going nowhere!! Dad took it on himself to get it looked at by a Ford dealer (which the warranty states - is frowned upon).... Why is that?? Is it because of the cowboy job that's been done on the electrics!?... More than likely!! They've sorted some problems at a cost of over £800... But it's still off the road because of the ignition problem which even the Ford diagnostics is struggling to pinpoint because of extra wiring that's been done on the vehicle (I'd love to know how cars 4 you would've "taken a look")....... We've seen the cowboy rewire... We've also seen the corroding fuse box..... And also the front footwells that could possibly have had lily pads and frogspawn from being soaking wet!! The Ford dealers to be honest have been helpful and very understanding.... They gave dad a loan car for a week without charge.... They've also now taken the kuga (still not repaired) as part exchange on another vehicle(with a proper warranty that's worthy of the paper it's printed on!) .... resulting in my father now losing £3000 in just over 6 weeks....... And thats not including the extra cost of car hire. £6500 kuga £3500 px value of same kuga We lost our mother just months ago and the stress that was caused by that Ford kuga didn't make it any easier on dad which had me seething..... Personally I'd have loved to get the kuga running and drive it straight through the front doors of cars 4 you. I get the impression these guys get cheap cars.... Let the cowboys aka bodgit and scarper do their thing.... And then hope for the best after they've been sold!! STEER WELL CLEAR - ESPECIALLY ONCE YOU GET A PROBLEM.

I'm very sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service, when we sell the cars its always explained that we supply a 3 months parts and labour warranty that is covered by our selves and always stress this is a bring back to base warranty, when your father called we said we were more than happy to have a look at the issue as it was explained to us that it was only occasionally not starting, at this point your father then stated that he " couldn't be bothered to mess around" and insisted the car went to Ford, this is not how our warranty works along with pretty much any independently supplied used car warranty. We very openly explain this while customers are viewing the car and do not try to hide this in any way. On every sale we make we always pass a copy of the warranty form on and didn't hesitate to email a new copy, we also have a copy displayed in our office. As with all push button starts you need to apply your feet to either the clutch and or break pedal before starting the car this is in no way unusual and we only advise as sometimes people who have not used this before do not realise this is the case. I am struggling to understand why if you state the car was a non runner you went to the effort to get the car trailered to ford but were not happy to bring the car to us to have it repaired for free under the warranty, the fact that ford charged you £800 to not fix the car should help explain why we do not always use main dealers and asses the fault and get it repaired by either in this case a Ford specialist or a electrical specialist. We get a lot of positive feed back especially about customer service and can only put this down to a miss understanding. I would just like to add that given the fact that we were refused the chance to repair the car this review is a little unfair and the consequences there after were completely out of our hands.
EVRYONE is fantastic down there and very good at there jobs, I would recommend to anyone and il most definitely be getting another vehicle form here 👍🏼👍🏼
I brought a fiat punto.from cars4u in September 2021. These guys go above and beyond highly recommended. Andy was very helpful and he put me at ease, Nothing is two much for these guys. I am loving my new Punto and it drives like a dream. Andy even delivered my car to me which I am very grateful for. Anyone who needs a car then these guys are the ones to go to. Thank you guys xx.
I brought a Nissan Qashqai from Cars4U in September 2019 because most of the reviews said when they had problems with there cars they were sorted out by the garage. Which I did with my new purchase and yes I had to take it back to them a few time but unfortunately the last time it was an oil / engine problem which was unfixable. They have recently replace it with a Renault Megane and it's a great car, it has taken 15 months but as bad as that sounds the country has been through 2 lock downs and they did supply me with a courtesy car to keep me mobile. I do recommend cars4u because they did stick to there word and not just push me to one side like so more second hand car deals do.

Popped down to check out a car I had seen online , met Andy who gave me the keys , he aloud me time to see the car for myself , Was shown all the paperwork and past history for the car , (lots of it ) Talked figures, no hard sale left to make a decision. Very thorough with all there paperwork and information regarding the sale . Did the car tax. Just genuine guys offering a great service with no hard sell .Nice selection of cars, easy location. Definitely recommend to friends and family. And will be back to check out cars again when am ready to purchase my next vehicle. Thanks

Brought my focus a year ago from Ian at cars 4 u, very happy with the service he gave me, great chap. What I am most impressed about though is I just took the focus for MOT after a year and it passed first time couldn't believe it has never happened before to me just shows what a great car it is.

Very helpful allowed me lots of time to look around the car. I was nervous coming to look at a vehicle with the covid going on but the staff at cars 4 u were very respectful and always stayed a save distance away from me allowing us a lot of time to inspect the corsa. I brought my son along as he is a mechanic and he was impressed. Very happy with my purchase

I was interested in a van. I explained I was calling from overseas and asked them about the condition of the van and if there was anything I should know about as I would be travelling quite far. They lied to me and told me it was in great condition and that there was nothing I needed to know about and even tried to get me to leave a deposit. Lucky for me I sent a pre inspection mechanic in to check it out. The mechanic done a full inspection but they refused to let him test drive it, even tho he would have trade insurance as a qualified mechanic. Without a test drive the report was shockingly bad and the mechanic said not to buy this van. I can only imagine how worse it would have been if they let him drive it. I could have wasted a lot of money flying over to see this van if I listened to these cowboys on the phone. Instead it still cost me £110 for the mechanic but it's money well spent. Don't waste your time with this garage, look at the bad reviews!

Hi, Were deeply upset by your review (on several review sites) The reason for not allowing a test drive was due to Covid 19 and social distancing rules at no point did your mechanic say that it was a problem and was given the keys and as much time to inspect the van as he wanted. I would add our insurance for test drives only covers for accompanied drives, as we didn't know your mechanic we were not willing to let him take the van on his own which to me seems perfectly acceptable. I personally stand on our description of a van that has covered nearly 100,000 miles as good condition for age/millage. We always offer the choice of a deposit which at the time of offering is always explained to be fully refundable for any reason subject to you showing up to view the car/van. How ever if you would like to call us we would be happy to discus your views.
