Absolutely horrific and the worst customer service i've ever experienced, I purchased from Carshop Wolverhampton on 5.5.23. My spec when looking for a car was ideally black and my budget was 10k and the tax on the car be £30, agreed to buy a Citroen C1 Elle as it had everything in my spec. I was made to buy the tax before I left the store and it was actually £180 which I argued about at the time but gave them the benefit of the doubt however 3 months later wish I’d have cancelled the sale, the friend I took with me wanted me to but we’d been there 5 hours at that point and I’d been to work before it and was worn out. I really think when it's your business selling cars, you should be up-to-date on tax changes, We got to the store at 12.20 we left at 5.40pm I was paying cash I assume as there are loads of them selling the cars but only 4 that you have to speak to as they try to entice you to buy other products with them which I said no to everything except the mot, for £50 in advance they are then free for as long as you have the car, however this is a pointless exercise because they don’t answer the phone for you to be able to book it in. This has since been refunded because of issues trying to contact customer service. On 22nd May 23, I tried to ring about the gearstick being sharp as there was an area where it had come off and was cutting into my hand I was told this was cosmetic and not covered, The car I brought is 4 years old, it's got something draining the battery, I rang to get it booked in after it took over 40 mins for someone to pick up the phone, I said to the girl how many of you are on the phones and she said 8 of us, I said how is it then i've been number 1 in the queue for 40 mins, she didn't have a satisfactory reply. Someone rang me back when I was at work as a receptionist and I can't answer my phone while I'm on the phone so I rang back but of course they didn't answer the phone, then I came back off holiday in July for 7 days and the battery was flat and have had to buy jump leads, it went flat again 3 days later so brought a battery the man in the shop said in 40 years he'd never changed a battery on a car that was 4 years old and he’d worked there for 30 years. Then when I opened the boot to get the jump leads out the boot was all wet again, the first time I noticed it I thought it was only going to be a few trickles but then it kept raining and the next time I looked I picked up the carpet which was dripping with water covering the spare wheel and there were visible droplets on the wheel and all around and underneath it, so again I waited over 40 mins for someone to pick up the phone, explained all the problems and that people don't answer the phone and she said they'd call but they didn't so I sent an e.mail so that I had it in writing that I needed them to do something as the car was still under warranty. Someone rang after numerous attempts to make contact and booked the car in, went over on said day at 1.30pm on the job sheet was all that I'd said was wrong, they said they'd call me back when they'd assessed it so we popped for a coffee, didn't hear my phone ring but they had so I called back but again they didn't answer the phone after trying 5 times but gave up and just went back, they said they were keeping it for the boot issue but that the battery was fine, I asked to see the diagnostic report, they said there wasn't one, I said there is a print out when a diagnostic report is done and I want to see it, they said again there wasn't one, so I said I want to see you do it for myself then, they said that wasn't possible, I said get me a manager then and a man came out an just looked at me, didn't say how can I help you or anything just stared at me and my friend so I said I want to see the diagnostic report and all he kept saying was that the battery was fine and I was like yes I know it is i've just brought a new battery and explained why and he clearly hadn't read the job sheet because the problem was on it both of the issues were on it, absolutely terrible customer service after spending 9.5k cash on a car then feeling pressured into buying advantage plus from them which I never want to deal with them ever again after all this and now they've had my car a week and i've rang 5 times this morning and it isn't 10am yet and the service centre don't ever answer the phone, so the only way to find out what's going on with it is to drive the 4 miles just to see if they've mended it as they couldn't even give me courtesy call to tell me if or when it was going be ready to collect, I specifically said when I left that as they don't answer the phone they would need to ring me and make they actually speak to me and not leave messages for me to call back, she did say they don't have the ringer on to know when people call - so that's obviously why they don't answer because they don't know the phone is ringing - how stupid is that!! I wish I'd never been there and that i'd never brought a car from them - everyone who i've told just can't believe the appauling customer service when spending that much money
