Purchased a car 4 weeks ago, which had serious issues the moment we left the showroom. Car is still in their garage a month later without any explanation or update as to what is going on. We were assured there was a 7 day and 30 day no obilgation return if dissatisifed. We are unable to get the car we purchased or our cash back. Have been waiitng for an email back from the manager for 3 weeks and a call for 4 weeks. Trading standards are involved. Great pre-sales experience, worst after-sales experience of any company we've ever encountered.

Car Shop staff are extremely reluctant to rectify a problem with my wifes car which manifested itself as soon as wedrove out of the gate. We had been promised that all issues had been resolved prior to collection. After-sales is non exisistent. Avoid at all costs.

This company is a joke. They will a sell you a car using their finance by force even if you have the money to down. They will make excuses why you should finance with them using 16% APR. Don't fall for this, as you can borrow money from the bank with low APR and pay car in full instead of using the finance of this car company. They will also try to sell useless products like the MOT. Their manager lied to me telling us that you can have MOT for £20 next year, but then you can only have the MOT if you have have full service with car shop which cost about £200+. Totally misleading. Be aware of this company. Worse service ever.

Went to view cars, we were pounced on as soon as we arrived. Politely said we would like to look around only to be told 'if you aren't interested in buying a car then why come here'. Never will this joke of a company see the colour of my money, If I could score a '0' I would.

Used to be an excellent service but now it’s pathetic. Endless phone calls to sort out defective car which was not prepared correctly.Even when the complaints department chase them they don’t respond or care. It’s so sad when’s once a great service is now absolutely disgusting. Carshop Cardiff is now a complete sales driven joke.

Told you can't view cars only on website . If I want to buy I want to look around not stopped at the door by 3 so called salesmen. Went 1 mile down the road. Happy to see me, browsed stock leaving deposits on 2 cars. What a pleasant experience compared to car shop. How they are still in business I don't know. Shocking! The word will be be spread far and wide. 👍

On 28th of June 2020, Me and my husband went to carshop Cardiff and we decided to buy a car. There were a few mistakes, had to to be done, we couldn’t take over it on Sunday (28th June). We did all the payment and paper jobs on that day. And they said that it will deliver on Tuesday (30th June) and before coming they will call us. (Tuesday was the off day of my huseband.) When it was Tuesday nothing arrived until the afternoon. We decided to give them a call to ask them about what happened but even though we called them too many times they did nothing but to waste our time. Around 6 pm an lady operator told us that I will let know the carshop know and they will contact with you asap. Nobody contacted to us on Tuesday. The next day we called them again at around 10.00-10.30 and we tried to explain our situation and they told us that Liam Jones who sold us the car business manager will be here at 11.00 am and we will let him know about your issue. When we gave call again after 11.00 am for contacting with somebody, an attendant told us that a driver went to take your car’s key. In shortly we will make your car’s delivery. But we still couldn’t learn anything about the situation. My husband was working and he can’t easily leave from his workplace. We waited. And nobody came. After 4.30 pm a gentleman took the car in front of house. And he called the husband so we hand over the car. But the story hasn’t finished yet. Two days later on Thursday from the delivery date, we got a call from the manager saying that our car will arrive on Thursday ASAP, even though it has been delivered on Wednesday. I just couldn’t believe that that kind of big dealer made these kinds of mistakes. If I didn’t see the place and personnel I would though that as if it’s just a place where they give you so much attention until they sell you the car and afterwards they don’t care

Beware of Car Shop Cardiff! Absolute con artists - I feel totally cheated. I asked about car finance for purchasing a nearly new car with them as I had looked into bank loans and just wanted to see if they could offer me a similar deal. I was told the APR and monthly payments and it was similar to what I had researched I would be paying if I took out a bank loan for the full amount of the car after the part-ex deposit was taken off. So I went ahead with the finance through car shop. AT ABSOLUTELY NO POINT was it said by the salesman to myself or my husband (who was with me) that I was actually being sold PCP finance and so although the monthly payments and APR was similar I would not own the car unless I made a final payment of £4200!!! I feel this was a huge thing to just not have mentioned as I was talking to him in terms of getting a bank loan to pay off the full amount and so would not have had a final payment and would have owned the car. So doing it this way will cost me a huge amount more to own the car and is not at all what I wanted or what I was led to believe was the case. I only found out by chance as I was looking at my credit profile and realised that my outstanding amount on the loan was much bigger than it should have been due to the final optional payment being included as you pay interest on it too. On the CarShop paperwork it just lists the deposit I paid and the finance amount but NO mention of the final payment which would need to be made so I had no reason to suspect any differently. I will be reporting them to the relevant authorities for mis-selling as I feel I have been totally misled. Avoid!!!

Just don't buy from carshop. I would buy from anyone and everyone else before carshop. Once they got your money. Your on your own. Mechanics with 20 years experience?? At what I've yet to find out. My car went there. I paid . Still broke. Took it back. They said. Oops we fix it. Two days later come pick your car up. Nothing wrong with it. I go down to pick it up. Still broken .I show a manager. Oh yeah. Thats deff broke. Leave it here. Approx 6 days later. Now its fixed. I travel all the way to pick it up. Still broken. Bring a Manager out and show him. Yep. That's deff still broke. Leave it again. 3 days later. Uhm we can't fix. You need to take to audi. Cost me 1200 quid to fix. Job done. Asked carshop for my money back. They told me to whistle for it. Bunch of clowns. Avoid at all costs.

My husband and I knew exactly what we we looking for and found it at Carshop Cardiff. Darius was a professional, polite and friendly salesman. We declined the additional charge for administration as we didn’t need to drive the chosen car away the same day and were able to negotiate the insurance, change of ownership etc. ourselves. We would recommend Carshop Cardiff from our experience there.
