Recently purchased a car from carshop in Cardiff I am very happy with the service received especially from Stuart in sales, very helpful would highly recommend.

PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!! I purchased a car from the CarShop (Cardiff) it has been nothing but drama! They tried to add 3 years warranty to my agreement with out telling me hoping I would sign the agreement. They added Guard X product to the agreement and charged me £300 for it which I did not agree to. I took the car from the show room and realised that the break disks were severely worn. I parked the car up on my drive which has a bit of a hill on it. Pulled up the handbrake got out of the car... went to get my 4 year old out his child seat when the car rolled forwards and almost crashed into the garage. The break disks were that bad that even the handbrake wouldn’t work properly. I took it back to them and they adjusted the handbrake but never changed the disks. I also had warning signs come on the dash stating that the driver and passenger restraint systems were faulty. (Seatbelts weren’t working properly) which turned out to be the seatbelt tensioners. Which they have not replaced. Again putting my family at risk. After many journeys to and from the centre there was still no resolution. I then had a “Drive Train error” come on the dash board too. They’ve taken out the gearbox and said the clutch and flywheel need replacing too! They initially tried stating that my warranty was up! Therefore I was not covered under the 3 month warranty. I dropped the car to them 1 week prior to it lapsing. They then tried stating that I had completed 3000 miles and the warranty was no longer valid. I used those miles mainly to get the car to and from the garage. The car had done 39k miles BMW 318D 2014 Full BMW service history I have tried to resolve the situation with the company direct however, the continue to put me, my family and others at risk! I did not realise the extent in which they will go to get money off you. I am hearing loads of complaints about them in my inbox as we speak. Please share so other do not get ripped off by these immoral individuals. Next step citizens advice Then trading standards Then solicitors Then news papers I hate rip off merchants. All I wanted was a reliable car as a good honest individual. Instead you put my families life at risk and try to dry bum every person that walks through the door. Stand by!!!!

They are all up for a sale once you’ve paid your deposit they can’t seem to fit you in for an appointment to pick up your car make you wait over an hour saying it will be sorted then come back and say you’ll be waiting a few more hours there are other people that want to buy a car I will have to deal with first before you. Wouldn't buy from here. worse car shop I’ve ever been too !!!
