Dodgy Dealer. Dodgy Cars. Had a fault on my car from day one. He tried to fix it but when he realised it was going to cost more money he just ignored my requests. Got the AA involved as he's supposed to be a trusted AA car dealer. Kept my car for 2 weeks and never fixed it costing me over £250 in taxi fares to work as I'm a keyworker. Even the AA said he has broken the consumer rights act but couldn't do anything about it but they are still letting him use the AA " your in safe hands" publicity. Total joke. Just go somewhere else.

Can an honest review be defamatory? Is that a threat from yourselves?
Spent £250 having ABS issue resolved with new rear pads and discs. Petrol tank leak - £460 + VAT for part from dealers - common fault so unobtainable 2nd hand. Then you have to add labour = @£750 repair. On an £1150 car. Thats already cost me £250. Had it all of 4 months and will scrap it.... I haven't got the front to try and pass this one to someone else either privately or in the trade. At least some of us have a conscience.

This place is a budget motor sales selling cheap cars, you know the sort of things that a lot of people can afford Some of these motors are over 10 years old with 100,000 and more miles If you expect them to have zero issues then your deluded cos some of the parts on these cars have been on since new and 12 months If you want car with no issues then go buy with zero miles.......mot does not cover the state of the roads these day (which will batter your car daily)...If the garage gets you an mot then its VOSA professional who passes or fails...not the man selling the car
Carshop Ferryhill branch sold a car that totally couldn't be on the road and only on scrap yard. Repair for car bought from them was cost at about £2000. Stay avoid this company. They selling a cars that should be scrap yard.

Another tall one.....
Carshop Ferryhill should not be allowed to stay in business. I bought a car for my son from them. The man at the garage totally lied about the condition of the car. My son didn’t even get it home before it broke down. The garage refused to pay for repairs and was totally unhelpful. A week later it broke down again and the machanic found parts of the gear box missing. It has cost £1000 to make the car roadworthy. The warranty is a joke even though the parts were cover they refused to pay. Yet another scam.

I always find its best practise to take a mechanic along to view older cars, then you can get the best possible advice
Great garage with so much choice friendly and affordable couldn’t do enough for my friend when he was looking for another car, I highly recommend Carshop Ferryhill.
I feel like i've been well and truly ripped off by Carshop Ferryhill. They sold me a car for £899, with £1500 worth of faults on it. It was basically a death trap on wheels. We've been very lucky not to have had a nasty accident in it. I submitted an email to them, and have so far, had no response. I bought this car in good faith. I had to spend nearly £300, just making it safe. I absolutely gutted when my mechanic gave me the list of things that need fixing or replacing. Just to get it through it's MOT. I would strongly suggest that people stay well clear of this place.

Carshop Ferryhill have lots of decent Budget Cars, They are fair and have good customer care..I know Ive bought 3 from them.
Well where do you start with people like this... i bought my car around 6 months ago and even now am still paying out for repairs! After buying the car i found out it had a short circuit in the head unit and ending up paying £400 to have a new wiring loom fitted (this was 1/3 of what i payed for the car) and if that was bad i then had to pay out for a new tire and wheel as the one on the car had been cracked on the inside, then came the wheel alignment and a major service witch found even more problems like the fuel tank having a split and the radiator was full of rad weld so that was another £150 to have it replaced lucky i know enough about cars to do this myself but still cost my £100+ for parts! And to top all this off the garage was not interested, they stopped answering the phone and emails to me. i had a 12 month warranty well at least i thought i did but turns out the warranty company had know idea who i was and had previously had problems with the same garage! in all my lawyers are on the case and the garage will be hearing from them soon. i paid £1400 for the car and to date have spent £1670 paying for repairs, parts and, labor!

I've had exactly the same issue. If I go ahead, it will cost me over £1500 in repairs. I don't know how these people sleep at night. We could have had a nasty accident. With the faulty steering rack, poor brakes, and bold tyres. There was even a bolt missing from one wheel.
