if only we had stumbled upon a Facebook group called Carshop unhappy customers and all the Trustpilot reviews back in February before deciding to go with Carshop! Can you believe we handed over £20,000 with no finance involved to be in possession of a car with so many faults!! The sales side was amazing, after sales is a TOTAL different ball game! We purchased the car in the Manchester (Ashton) branch and their business manager “Mark Holmes” is absolutely shocking considering he states he’s skilled in negotiation, customer satisfaction and customer retention 🤦🏼♂️ Yesterday, we had to sadly return the car because it was plagued with numerous faults, including a major electrical issue. And to top it all off, we ended up losing £2500 due to the mileage yet we’ve only had the car since February. I would never, ever recommend Carshop to anyone after this experience. Right from the beginning, we had a feeling that something wasn't right with the car. Issues with door alignment, sensor problems, new brakes, engine management lights... the list goes on and on. What a chaotic situation! Definitely a dealership to steer clear of in the future, that's for sure! Live and learn, right?

Just want to thank Muhammed and Jack who went the extra mile to make buying my Peugeot 2008 hassle free. They both friendly and very helpful explaining everything I needed to know about the vehicle. This is my third car from car shop and has never had any problems with buying or owning a car from there. Thanks Muhammed and Jack
Offered my Jaguar XE AWD , 62,000 miles for part exchange ( for sale by dealers at £10,600.00 ) they offered £5,000.00. Total insult and rip off especially when the camera fault was theirs, two week after purchase in 2020 they would not honour the extra £750.00 warranty which for others is not with the paper it is written on.
I recently acquired a Hyundai Boyan from Warrington Carshop, and whilst the vehicle itself appears to be in good working order thus far, the service post-purchase has been abysmal. Despite the car's decent performance, I've encountered issues with the secondary key and tyre pressure, which were not as expected. Upon purchase, I was reassured of a 3-month warranty to rectify any such problems, yet my attempts to utilise this promised support have been met with frustration and disappointment. My efforts to reach out to Warrington Carshop for help have been futile, with the most helpful suggestion being to visit their Manchester branch. Following their advice, I made the trip to Manchester on a Sunday, only to be told they would get in touch with me first thing on Monday. I'm still waiting for that call. Furthermore, Gabriel, the individual responsible for selling finance and warranties at Warrington Carshop, had assured me he would ring me to discuss the warranty in detail, as I had asked for a few days to deliberate. Regrettably, this call also never came, leaving me feeling neglected and disregarded as a customer. The difference in the level of service before and after the sale is stark and unacceptable. While they couldn't do enough to persuade me to buy from them, their post-sale service has been nothing but a series of broken promises and unmet assurances. This ordeal has left me feeling terribly mistreated and questioning the reputation of Warrington Carshop. It's disheartening to witness such a rapid decline in customer service quality the moment they had my payment. I would urge potential buyers to reconsider dealing with them, as the after-sales support, which is crucial to any car purchase, is woefully lacking in both sincerity and efficiency.
Misold car and car not prepared prior to leaving the forecourt. Happy once they've got your money, then will not answer calls or emails or apologise for miselling a car with features it hasn't got and faults which the customer has to run around getting repaired then claim back

Everything pretty clear and courteous not too pushy
nitially, we had a pleasant experience with the Car Shop in Manchester when we purchased a Skoda Karoq for my wife. However, what followed was a series of events that have turned this into one of the worst mistakes we have made as a family. Soon after we bought the car, we started experiencing issues with the entertainment system crashing and displaying an SOS message asking us to contact the dealer immediately. We called Car Shop as we took out the warranty for the car, but our call was never returned. After conducting my own investigation, I decided to contact Skoda for a software update, which we got done but the issue was not resolved. Additionally, we discovered that the car had two leaky shock absorbers, which was unusual as we believed the car had just undergone an MOT. We have since had the car in the Skoda garage four times to try and resolve the issue. Despite informing Car Shop multiple times, we're yet to receive any call back or resolution. My wife hates driving the car now as it remains completely silent, and she also grapples with the added worry about the shock absorbers. I have called Car Shop repeatedly, but we've not received any help or response from them. We want to give the car back, but the situation is at an impasse, and we feel like we're out of options. The whole experience, which began so promisingly, is now nothing short of horrendous.
Well done Aaron, excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful. Happy customer .
Purchased a hybrid car 5th Dec. Bought warranty, mot for life and that greenheart thing. Collected my car 6th Dec. On driving the car away warning on dashboard both rear tyres under inflated. Had to stop at the nearest garage to put air in. Carried on my way. Went about my daily life and started my night shift that night. I'm a nurse on call and lone worker. Which means I travel around at night on my own. We'll, at 5.30 in the morning I had a terrifying experience. My car cut out, I think it had a complete battery fail and would not start. It also had no function of the hazard lights to warn oncoming traffic. My car was sideways in the road. A bin waggon cam hurtling towards me and I had to flag it down to avoid collision with my new car the waggon driver also could not start the car. It was consequently pushed to the side of the road by myself and 2 witnesses. Arranged RAC breakdown to attend. The txt received stated expected arrival to my car 8.10pm! Really?? On returning to the car around 2 hours later the car started so gingerly drove it home followed closely by a family member. Snatched 2 hours or so sleep as I was working again that night then reported the incident to the car shop Manchester who told me they would escalate with high importance but could be 48 hours for a call back. As it was approaching weekend I could not rest and was beside myself. Phoned them back on Friday to be told I would have to get the car recovered and taken back to the car shop. They expected me to fund this. It took an argument and a threat with trading standards then they authorised the recovery. I was feeling like a nuisance at this point. Had to get a family member to take me to the car shop as they did not issue me with another car to use. Explained to experience manager Jacqui Jackson my frightening experience and stated that I want a refund. She insisted they do a diagnostic on the car first and attempt to fix the problem. A very long wait later. I still wanted a refund as I had no trust or confidence in the car and frankly would be frightened of reoccurrence of the issue. She would not refund my money as there were no stored faults. I am still beside myself! The car shop are forcing me to keep a car that I am not happy with! I also would not be surprised if the faults shown were cleared and I would be non the wiser to this. Also following the diagnostic they have disconnected the battery leaving me unable to answer my phone hands free which raises a further safety issue as I need to answer my phone whilst at work. The customer service is disgraceful and apart from anything else do they not have any regard at all for person safety? I don't know how they sleep at night. Has anyone been successful in obtaining a refund? I paid cash. Happy to take the cash the same day but absolutely will not refund. Well carshop, hear this, I am a community night nurse on call and need to see poorly people in the night. I cannot have an unsafe car! Absolute 100% shame on you. I hope you do not need to access a community nurse who may not be able to see you due to newly bought car failure! I will not rest until I get a full refund! Members of the public avoid the car shop Manchester at all costs. They are a vile company to deal with. I hope the car shop Manchester read this review! 0 star rating from me.
