have since had nothing but problems with This store . Have emailed constantly - but no answers at all . They never answer the phones . Had to go into store to talk to anyone . After 60 days of being ignored I’ve been told today that the car I’ve been driving my kids around in , should of been CONDEMED !! Told this by car shop themselves . Worse company around . Never ever buy from them . You’ll regret it if you need any after sales support

The service I received when buying my car was fantastic from start to finish, I’ve recommended Carshop to my friends and family. Jordan was great and very knowledgable and Louis helped us finalise my purchase in a very friendly professional manor.
Utterly appalling service! Sales person Albi said he cannot show us cars today (Sunday) as it’s very busy on a weekend and because we weren’t buying today we would have to come back Monday to Friday to view cars! I’m sorry, don’t a lot of people work Monday to Friday, making it near on impossible to come on another day. Not to mention I didn’t realise you ‘had’ to commit to buying a car before having sat it in any of them! If that’s the service you get from this company pre-sale I can only imagine what there aftersales service would be like once they had your hard earned cash. I wouldn’t trust them to sell me a kettle let alone a car after that experience. I did report this to the management, by which time it was too late for me, the company was tarnished and the way we were disregarded completely insulting. Buying a car, spending thousands of pounds is no small thing, clearly you aren’t interested in customer service, yet interestingly your strap line is ‘having good carma at the heart of everything you do right down to your honest and HELPFUL colleagues’ WOW! Well Albi certainly doesn’t fit that profile and he’s lost you our custom; not that I expect that to matter when you have sales staff like that working for you!

The salesman, Promised car was serviced and ready to pick up. I had paid a £99 no quibble deposit. I wanted to take the car for a test drive, but it broke down before leaving the forecourt. While we were waiting for it to be repaired the sales man was giving me the ' Well are you going to BUY IT ??' I said I needed to drive it first. While we waited I checked the car over and found a screw in one tyre. After 30mins they managed to get car going. I went for a very short drive, I guess the salesman was worried it would breakdown again. While I was driving I noticed that the Check Engine light was on and the car was also flagging service overdue. Looking around the car I could see where it have been damaged and poorly repaired. I said to the salesman that I would like my deposit back and that the car is not as described, he started to quibble saying that there was nothing wrong with the car !!! I pointed out the service light and the engine warning light he said that would be fixed no problem... I explained that he had already told me it had been serviced. He repeated that it was fully serviced !! I asked to see the Manager. A rather argumentative man claiming to be the manager. I explained that the car was not as advertised and that I would like my deposit back. He became aggressive and said there was nothing wrong with the car. That he would get the faults fixed and I could pay £200 for them to deliver it to me. I repeated that the car was not as advertised and of poor quality and I would like money back. He started to quibble saying he could fix everything if I told he what was wrong. I said I had already explained and that I was not prepared to discuss tis matter further and that I was exercising my no quibble rights. I am awaiting the return of my deposit. Avoid or get STUNG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We traded in our lovely top of the range X5 in which was in great condition apart a very fine hairline scratch on the rear bumper. Typical salesman talk, knocking off the valuation of our trade in because of this in which was laughable to say the least but we was ok with this because my wife had set her heart on the Range Rover Vogue we were getting in return, we didn’t want finance so we came to clear the outstanding balance in full in which they did not want to entertain at first, I was a financial adviser for 10 years so I knew what they were trying to implicate, because of this, they did not knock off a penny, giving negative feedback on our trade in and of course, positive feedback on there car, we did the deal regardless because I knew my wife liked the new purchase. After a few days we noticed the air con needed to be filled, in which they did, so, happy days. On the 13th of Jan 2022, I was in our local town in our other car and my wife called me to say she has broken down and that the drivers front wheel had come off, I thought she was joking, when I got there, I was shocked, the arm had snapped, camshaft etc… RAC guy said you are very lucky that could have been fatal, only a week before we had used this car up the M1 coming back from Heathrow airport, 2 young kids at the back, when the car got to our local garage, mechanic was shocked and said that this is extremely bad workmanship, corrosion had got in to a bolt and caused for that to snap, he sai that the garage where you bought this from should have seen this because the white powder would have been there, at this point my heart is pounding, spending almost 30k on a car that could have killed us all if this had happened a week before, this is not an exaggeration, RAC guy said the same thing, I don’t know who there mechanics are but they certainly need to be assessed, I am appalled and to top it off, we paid £2,500 in repair bills, car shop in Northampton should hang there heads in shame, I have pics in which I will upload, I am considering taking action and speaking to my solicitor. PLEASE AVOID THE NORTHAMPTON BRANCH AT ALL COSTS.

My faith in 'customer service' has been restored!! My car (Mazda MX5) was recently booked in for a service and MOT (4th November 2021) and unfortunately had to be left for work to be carried out. The attention and regular contact by one member of staff, Nicole Cashmore (Service Advisor) cannot be praised enough! I work in Palliative Care and Nicole was extremely sensitive to how very valuable my car is to me to be able to carry out my job. She did everything in her power to make sure that the work carried out was done as swiftly as possible and to a high standard. I cannot thank her enough for this. Nicole you are AMAZING, thank you so much for everything you did!
Placed a £99 holding deposit on a car at Cardiff Car Shop and asked it to be moved from Cardiff to Northampton which cost £50. This was arrange through the Doncaster call centre. I received an e-mail to say they were expecting me on a Thursday about 2 days after my Doncaster call. I had to change this to a Saturday and had a call from Car Shop on Friday to check I would be coming along, which I confirmed. On arrival at Car Shop about 45 miles from my home the car was a mess, dirty inside and out with several areas of flaking paint on the front, this a 2016 BMW. When I voiced my disappointment I was told I was only viewing the car and that I have to place a £300 refundable deposit to have the car valeted and prepared, which meant another 90 mile round trip. As the mileage had increased they also said it had been driven from Cardiff to Northampton. The staff also could not get their story straight about when the car had arrived from Cardiff. I think the £300 thing was a get out for not having got the car ready. They are a big outfit with lots of cars, and no doubt sell lots that are fine and they have happy customers as a result but there seems plenty of scope for poor service when things go wrong with Car Shop.
