I recently bought a C5 Aircross from Carshop Norwich. Once I got the car home, I decided to do the usual checks, oil, coolant etc The was no Coolant in the expansion vessel - The radiator had a hole and needed replacing. The oil level was far too high, and some had to be drained. The blind spot monitors not working, 1 mirror wouldn't shut. Quiet surprising as Carshop had just carried out a full service, and failed to stamp the service book. My biggest issue is the clutch. The pedal is very stiff. I pointed this out the day after buying it. and an additional 3 times I have returned the car, and 3 times I have been told there is no issue. when the car is driven for a prolonged periods, it becomes unbearable! I am taking it in to a gearbox & clutch specialist today, and expect to be spending approx. £600 + to fix this issue. All I can say to people now, is beware of this second hand car dealer. their after sales care is exceptionally poor. GO ELSEWHERE

Told categorically that my Vauxhall Corsa had never had any body work repairs or respraying before I purchased the car. Main dealer (Thurlow Nunn) body work expert confirmed this was in fact untrue and pointed out numerous tell tale signs to the contrary - including presence of residual primer and masking tape - I would never have bought this car if I'd known. Will be contacting the Motor Ombudsman.

I was disappointed in the quality of the car. Had it only 24hours and noticed the car had a smash on the rear, it was hpi cleared, I was shocked it even got on the showroom floor for customer to buy, I am surprised this passed all quality checks. By carshop. Must say Norwich store staff was very professional in helping me resolve this issue.

Picked up the car with no heating, carshop fixed the heating with a new part. Less then a week later another part went wrong, spoke to trading standards and have the right to reject the car! Can't get through to management, absolutely useless!! Only had car 6 weeks!!
After buying my dream car the Experience of customer care was terrible . So many things was wrong with car and they wasted my work time and money so many times I had to re book in . Never going back bought car warranty is somewhere else which cost me even more so avoid this place . Don’t take out the gardex cleaning package as I paid £320 and they had to do the job twice and left bugs and polish all over it so goes to show they can’t even clean a car

Sale was great, couldn’t have asked for better. However what I could ask better was the after sale care. It was shocking. My car was supposed to be cleaned as i paid for advantage. On the day of collecting the car (I was booked in and they were expecting me) took nearly 4 hours to get my car and sign it over. Only to be told 4 hours later my car is covered in polish. But I can wait an hour for it to be cleaned or come back at a later date. I decided to go back. As I had spent long enough there already. I was also booked in to have a “mop and polish” as agreed when I brought the car for the bird poo stains that had eaten the lacquer and to have my wheels straightened as these were “bent” I turned up on the day to have this work done. I got a hire car for this period. 1 week later I got my car back. Only to have had my wheels painted a different finish to what was originally on the car. The clean was atrocious especially when it’s claimed to be a “professional clean” and the “mop and polish” hadn’t been done. I told them about my wheels and I was told “ no they were like that when you brought the car” effectively calling me a liar. Only to prove that on the sales advert it specified the spec of the wheels. And also they used £20 worth of fuel on this occasion but agreed to put £20 back in. So once again my car was booked in for the same problems to be fixed once again. This time my car was with them 2 weeks. I had a hire car and this was filthy. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Finally got my car back after me having to chase them. Got told to go on a Sunday. Went down and no one from servicing was in…. I looked at my car and wow, that’s the only words I have for this. The had smashed/chipped my screen, scratched the paint work “trying” to remove the bird stains. And the car had even more polish added to it. Either way my car wasn’t road worthy due to the windscreen. At first they said they didn’t do it. But I could prove otherwise so they replaced the screen. On collection unfortunately I come down with covid so they dropped the car to my house. The car had done 49 miles and I live 4.3 miles from carshop. So 45 miles done in my car and the car arrived back with the same amount of fuel in after them putting £20 in, so they effectively used £40 of fuel and only put back in £20. I’m expected to return their car back on the same fuel so why is my car any different. The car is still booked in to have the bonnet sprayed and the door and roof to be sprayed too. I brought the car 4months ago and I’ve been able to drive this for about 1 and half months as it’s been back so many time to car shop. The communication from them is awful. You have to push for answers. They don’t contact you they just leave you waiting. Also they are refusing to replace the fuel they used. Mark the head of business doesn’t respond to his emails after sending multiple emails.
They sold me a defective car , i turned up to have it fixed under warranty only to find the loan car they promised wasn't now available I argued the case but there attitude was disgusting , they say that customers are there top priority...... I strongly disagree NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Right from the start of my journey with Carshop, I was happy with their level of professionalism and personable nature - from talking to their team on the phone to visiting the Carshop Norwich branch. On arrival to the store, I noticed how clean, spacious, modern and professional. When viewing the vehicle, we had Taylor help. He was kind, knowledgeable and really took away any anxiety I was feeling by being so friendly and approachable. Trevor Forkes was my assigned Business Manager and he really do go above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the service provided. Even when the finance took a while longer than expected to arrange, Trevor contacted me on his days off to make sure I was kept in the loop. Although the whole process took a long time, I always felt valued by Trevor and I honestly could not recommend him enough to help you buy your car.
