Customer service at Carshop in Norwich was second to none, as soon as I was interested Bev and Alex were very knowledgable about the vehicle. They also had the car under a cloth on collection and was pulled to reveal the clean polished car which was a very nice touch.
On 21st July, I reserved a car (RV65 FKT) in-store at CarShop Norwich branch, the car was being refurbished in Sheffield, which usually takes two weeks, but the process had already started, so I was told to expect it to be ready in less than two weeks. I called CarShop on 23rd July, for an update, and was told that the V5 had the wrong model printed on it so this needed rectifying, which usually takes around two weeks, so I expected a delay. I called again on 6th August, asking for an update, I was told nothing new, that it was being refurbished and that the V5 was being rectified. I called again on 15th August for an update, expecting some movement, but being told nothing new and that there could be no movement because the person dealing with my sale (John Walker) was not in. Later in the day, I spoke to the retail manager, John Ruskin, who told me that the case was now "in the right hands", and that he would call me back within the next hour for an update. He did not call, and I never received a call from CarShop during the whole month I was dealing with them. I popped into the branch to find John Ruskin, who again, told me nothing new. At which point, I was fed up because there was no movement for 4 weeks, therefore reserved a different car. I was promised that this car is ready to be moved down from Doncaster and that it would be ready 20th August. I called on the 20th and was told that my partner and father could purchase the car, and put my name on the V5. They went into the branch, and were told that this would not be possible, and would be illegal (which is completely untrue), wasting 3 hours of their time. On the following day, my father went into purchase the car and put my name on the V5 (the law must have changed since the previous day), only for the SatNav SD card not to be in the car and there not to be a 2nd key or any car mats. When I click on the link for the original car that I reserved, it says Car Now Sold, they therefore sold it without telling me when I had it reserved.

Went last week to the Car Sshop in Norwich to look for an SUV and found a Jeep Renegade. The service we received from Vanessa was great. She was informative, pleasant and friendly. At no point did I feel she was giving us a hard sale. I was grateful for being picked up from the station by Vanessa and she took me through all processes I needed to complete, to have the car. Vanessa the car has now been given a name (by husband) Mavis, relates to registration! I would recommend friends to visit Car Shop and wish Vanessa success in her future.

Carshop Norwich took £100 for a test drive I didn’t even want. Refused to refund for 5 working days even though states on various sites they can use BACS transfer and only takes hours. Got told “I’m nothing to do with it yet I’m getting the brunt of it” by sale staff member. Scam artists. DO NOT EVER USE

Check VERY carefully the advertised or verbal specification that Carshop Norwich give you on a vehicle. Following an issue where a car was sold to us as having a particular feature - it later transpired that the car did not have that feature at all. Customer services representative tried to fob us off and hide behind "disclaimers" (I have the call recorded as proof). Local Management were practically non existent and did not come out of their offices to discuss the issues. Long delays ringing up - at one point we were 11th on call waiting and they seldom return calls. Avoid this place like the plague. Currently preparing a file for Trading Standards and will also be reporting them to the Financial Conduct Authority.

Visited Carshop Norwich today with cash in hand with the intention of getting either a Mondeo or Focus estate. asked if I could drive both cars to see what we preferred, to be told that we couldn't drive two cars, unless we paid a deposit and agreed that we would definetly buy on of them today. I found this very strange and although I wanted a car today, I felt very pressured and bullied. Decided to go elsewhere, as the customer service is appalling and they don't really care what you want, or what you say. Its all about a sale and selling you extras like extra warrenties and finance.
