So after my last visit to CarShop Swindon, which was a number of years ago and nothing to do with buying a car, I was a little apprehensive about going there. However, I’m so glad I did. There was a friendly greeting from all of the team (we took our dog there too and they were cool with that). I dealt with Mike P throughout. He was patient, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Not a pressure sale at all, but more like a couple of friends chatting about getting a new car. Eventually (my fault not his), got a car reserved, transferred from Norwich really quickly, and did the deal really quickly on Thur 30 Sep (I had tickets to see the new James Bond film) and now the owner of a very nice Jag XE. Must mention two others, the guy sorting out payment (sorry didn’t clock your name, and Jamie too, who despite the time pressure I was putting them under, helped get the final details sorted in double quick time and Jamie helped me clear out my old Passat into the boot of the XE before I drove it away for the first time. If you’re looking for a new used car, I recommend you give them a visit! Thanks all

Bought a car on Sunday, service was excellent until we got put through to the business manager to pay for the car, for no fault of my own I wasn't able to drive away with it. I drove more than one hour to go buy the car and was given no previous notice that there was a time limit for a credit check to be put through. Anyway, the next day is where the awful experience began. After being ping ponged around on the telephone, I was informed that my finance was refused, however there was no explanation of why that happened, the manager on the phone, who was supposed to be their 'most experienced', was rude and wrongly me accused of asking for them to do something illegal (I only asked if my dad would be able to finance the car on his name, which as I had previously discussed with other managers and employees and got told it was a completely normal thing to do), he then proceeded to send me the documents to sign with a third broker that would be able to provide me with the financing at a greater APR, all of this in a rushed and unpolite manner. After sending all the documents through to the broker, I found out that my name, which they had written down both in pen and paper and in my licence, was sent out grossly misspelled. As this could be the reason I got rejected on my credit check, I called the store yesterday and got told a business manager was going to contact me asap. It's been more than one full day and I still haven't heard from him. So yeah, at carshop you get the first class treatment only before you give them your money, as soon as they have your deposit they don't give a damn about customer satisfaction. Extremely disappointed with the service and rudeness I was treated with. It's Wednesday now, I'm leaving to uni on Sunday and still have no car or the free time to drive and pick it up, you'd expect the least they would do is offer their delivery service as an apology...

Test drove a car. Spotted severe is with said car (not fit for sale or roadworthy). Management were very keen to resolve the issue IF I put a deposit down on the car. Followed my gut and did not place a deposit, as they are still selling the car as is and have not bothered to rectify the issue. Rogue traders, manager is a conman.

Just picked our car up. Carshop had a week to prepare car. Was told by girl who took us to car that the paint guard hadn't been applied. The battery in spare fob needed replacing We now have to take a day off to come back. The inside hadn't been cleaned from when we took it for test drive.

Useless extra warranty sold with the vehicle and underpayment for part exchange. I will never use again.

I am massively impressed at the service, knowledge and attitude of all of the staff at Car Shop Swindon. I had been recommended by a friend as they have bought a car recently and couldn't fault it. As soon as I walked in I was met by Alex who helped so much. Hugely enthusiastic and helped me make the right choice. Reserved the car and test drove the following day with husband and even popped the kids seats in and tried the car as a family. Speedy finance with Markus and we were off in our new car. Faultless service, thanks guys.

We recently brought a car from the car shop in Swindon, one gentleman named Nathon was amazing, we had a few minor issues with delay of the car and this guy done all he could to get the car to me, he kept me updated all the way through, Amazing customer service, he most defiantly made buying the car stress free!! Highly recommend!

CAR SHOP SWINDON. CLICK AND COLLECT. They totally wasted my time. The 1 star is for the half decent video walk around of the car. You would not think they had sold a car before; the service was so unprofessional. From reserving the car, I dealt with 4 different sales people and after 5 days had still not received a sales order or any ‌information on how to pay for the car. I had to chase it up, and before they would send it they wanted 'a SELFIE' and my NATIONAL INSURANCE number to check my ID through DVLA. As I work in financial services I am well aware of Anti Money Laundering Regulations. I was willing to scan my proof of address and driving licence or anything similar, but I was not willing to give my national insurance number or start uploading photos of myself. They would not even accept a CODE from the DVLA to give them this info. Car hire companies are quite happy to accept a code to verify ID. I phoned main dealers KIA, SEAT, as well as Car Giant and one of their very own shops (Car Shop in Doncaster). Not one of them need any selfies or Nat Insurance info. A driving licence and confirming my ID on collection was sufficient. I was collecting the car myself. Sales person 'Nick D' was very patronising and spoke down to me; very arrogant attitude. Sales reps are called business managers. Seems some of them would struggle to manage the proverbial in a brewery! I received an apology via phone from Mark at Swindon but he seems to defend his sales team. I am hoping my deposit will be returned in the 3-5 days they promise.

I purchased a Ford Fiesta back in Jan 2017 and the car was a total shed . Huge list of things wrong with it . The car had a faulty gearbox / clutch to name but a few of the issues . The customer service is awful and once you have the car they dont want to know . They also push a little bit too hard to get you to take finance on the car as well. If I can be a warning to anyone looking for a used car please avoid this place at all costs.

I was in the car shop to buy a car I was attended by a sales lady who never looked me in the face when she talked about the business without any experience when I went to talk to the manager I always looked rude afterwards until I gave the deposit everything was fine the manager He treated me well, he called me, he didn't call, so I drove to the garage and looked at me with contempt, so I canceled the purchase and bought it at the mercedez garage.Never bus never is horrible
