I purchased my car 22nd April, I had 2 problems ( a headlight out and vibration of the wheels) I rang the online number to be told this was a wear and tear issue, after visiting the Wakefield store they agreed to help and stated I had rung a call centre for carshop. I had only had my car 11 days. I was told to book in at Halford and they would sort payment, Halford haven't been able to get an answer on any contact number and neither have I.... A direct number would help. I will never go back here

So i purchased a vehicle from this dealership back in November, had the car on the road for 3-4 weeks and the car then broke down on me leaving me with no transport what so ever. I rang to try and organis the warranty work and asked if it would be taken to a BMW dealer as i was promised when i purchased the car. However when i actually rang i was told that it would not be happening as Carshop never do that. So thats the first instance i was lied to! The second time was when i was told the car would be collected on a certain day only to find out that it had not been arranged what so ever when i rang asking for an update, all it took to eventually get my car anywhere other than my drive was a google review which after a lot of messing around eventually got my car into my Local BMW. Whennit was then at bmw there was a lack of communication between Carshop and BMW (Carshop never answered or took notice of any emails BMW sent for authorisation of work) which then in turn meant that my car was with BMW for 4 weeks!! And throughout it being at BMW i was only offered a courtesy car in the final few days by Carshop. When the work was being carried out i was promised that the invoices for the £6000 worth of work carried out would be sent to me. I was also promised this around 2 months ago now and still have not received anything... my calls ignored same with my messages. I don not recommend this dealership specially when I work in one myself.

Be warned their after sales service is appalling. Repairs under warranty take forever so insist you get a courtesy car if you want to stay mobile. It's always "waiting for parts" but you have to chase them - they say they'll call back but never do. This has happened twice to us now.

This was a no pressure car buying experience. The salesman Kyle was helpful open and honest. He allowed me to view the cars and choose one to test drive. We took the car out for a run, all went well. Then we valued my trade in. Again no pressure.. I was happy with there offer price and proceeded with the paper work and a deposit. Throughout the whole procedure Kyle was very helpful. He was happy to sort out any queries I had about the car. I picked the car up some days later the exchange was smooth. They sort out the payment and tax of the new car. The tax refund on the old car and the V5C documents of ownership for both. Everything taken care of in one go. They even do short term car insurance if you require it.

From the moment I entered the building to the final piece of the car-buying jig-saw I was always made to feel special. This was especially so from Tyler who tried his best to appease me over a small issue with the car's specification!! He did provide superb service and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anybody thinking of buying from CarShop.

An awful experience, I had selected 3 vehicles to view 1 I had discovered on line was £2000 over priced when I mentioned this the sales manager, quite rudely told me that there was no point in looking at it. One car in my view was good. My favourite was not what it appeared to be poor service history, visible wear to the brake pads the sales manager had every excuse for this. The part exchange process is designed to wear you down and discredit your vehicle. I left feeling insulted and that I had been talking to scammers. My advice to prospective car buyers is don't go there they appear to be more interested in themselves than in a prospective customer.
Callum Murray made the return and new purchase painless he was extremely efficient, a pleasure to deal with and made what could have been a stressful time very easy for us, Callum is a credit to carshop. And we wouldnt hesitate to return as customers again.

What another waste of my time. Two hours of disappointment. Absolutely outraged and speechless by this horrendous company. Unsure of where to start... After an awful first impression yesterday, I thought the staff would make things right for me today, as promised by Adam and Natalie. The endless list problems continues: - The mileage on the car today was 480miles more than on the website. When queried, it was explained that it was due to the journey from Cardiff. We were assured yesterday by Chris that "the car would be delivered in transit along with other cars and would not make any detours to other Carshops". This implies that it would not be physically driven. - Paperwork regarding the MOT and advisory notes were very complicated and not addressed as mentioned. - No spare key, every car comes with two keys and there was no mention of the car only having one key. We made a point of the potential risk of theft from the previous owner if they still have the spare key. Adam said that "the risk would be very unlikely as they would not be able to track where you live due to data protection policy". As he spoke this, in our hands was with the invoice of the last service done in Birmingham, with the previous owner's address on! Adam said that "we shouldn't have shown you that". Absolutely laughable - what trust would there be if the company had hold of my information then?! - Constant excuse of how "the company sells hundreds of cars a day", which is completely irrelevant. The company should be hiring more people to do paper checks if that is the case. - When we were about to proceed with the sale, we were told by Adam that the car would include 5 days of free insurance, covered by the company. Then when we sat down with Usman to proceed further, he tried to sell us two insurance packages, £99 and £149, after just hearing the conversation with Adam! -Throughout this evening, we requested to view the V5 multiple times before buying. We kept getting told that we would recieve it after paying. When it got to paying, Usman came to inform us that the V5 had not arrived yet, so they said the would provide us with a V62 to get it taxed in the morning. Usman, Adam and the finance manager gave us two options. The first would be to drive the car home today, without road tax. Second would be to to opt for a home delivery tomorrow. We were then told if we chose option, we would have to pay £25 for the V62. We were mortified to hear such news, on top of everything else. And even more mortified that a company would even suggest for their customer to drive illegally. No manager, salesperson or company would even think to suggest such a thing if they truly cared about their customers. In conclusion, what was supposed to be an exciting and memorable experience turned out to be an incomprehensible two days, all due to your company's incompetence and unprofessionalism.
