"£21,300 For a broken car!"

I spent £21,300 on a 3-year-old BMW 3 Series (RE71 BUP) with 25,000 miles. I requested it to be cleaned on Saturday for collection on Sunday. When I arrived at the agreed collection time of 1 PM, I had to wait well over 20 minutes to be seen. Fortunately, Georgia noticed my frustration and assisted with the paperwork and payment. Over an hour and a half after arriving at the dealership, I finally received my car, only to find it was still dirty. With a 4-hour drive home ahead of me, I left promptly. After getting the car up to speed (55-70 mph), it began making a vibrating and rubbing noise from the engine area. I pulled over at the next services and emailed Carshop, as they were now closed. The following workday, Daniel passed me onto the Subcon team, who booked the car into a local garage. The garage confirmed the noise and suggested it could be a transmission issue. Subsequently, Carshop booked the car into a local BMW garage 6 days later. BMW also noticed the vibration and noise and verbally advised that the car had impact damage and had likely been in a crash and poorly repaired. Following this, I requested a full refund from Carshop. Kate then reached out to advise that they are awaiting the report from BMW before anything can be taken further and that a diagnostic check would need to be carried out. I'm unsure what the other two garages have done with the car if they haven't at least carried this out already. Currently, I'm stuck with a faulty £21,300 car with no resolution in sight. I'd avoid this business in the future as the customer care and cars aren't up to standard. I'll update my review as things progress. The bar is on the floor.

Just purchased a 2021 plate SUV mini. Lovely car. Just after care, don't care. We waited 30 minutes to be seen, then the process of finalising car tax etc. Given the keys, no let check the car or even not valeted as bits of white inside the car. Nobody came out to check the car with us. And the tyre pressure was uneven to that we had to correct them

Bought a car last Sept, it seemed to have this awful smell of burning oil. Within a week it was smoking from exhaust to the point other road users were flashing me to warn me of them. I took the car back for repair which they said "you're lucky it didn't blow up" it was in there for over a week for new parts. When I took the car away again the problem was still there but they kept saying there's nothing wrong with it, it's normal for a diesel. Well having had diesel engines for over 18 years I knew this wasn't true. Being constantly fobbed off. Wouldn't buy from this company ever again. Would have given zero stars but I wouldn't let me

Excellent service from a lovely young lad called Luke very knowledgeable and helpful he did everything he said he would, couldn’t fault the service he also kept us informed

We paid a deposit for a car, drove over one hour to finalise the purchase, only to find them selling the very same car to someone else. The managers attitude was that he couldn't care less. Don't bother! Disgusting company.

I bought a BMW X1 a few months ago Where I’d arranged finance myself I was still at their shop 5hrs later waiting on them to get everything finalised even though payment had been made to them 2days prior When I purchased the vechicle I noticed grazes and scratches, including a stain on the passenger seat which they promised to take care of None of this was done I assume this is why they keep people hanging around so long, so they get so pissed they just want to leave They’d promised to have the car taxed and ready but when I arrived I waited an hour to be seen and a further 2hrs and had to ask 3times before a member of staff arranged to drive me to the post office to get the registration changed and the vehicle taxed I can say without a doubt I’ve never visited a business with so many incompetent employees lacking in customer care skills I also emailed them several days earlier regarding THEIR policy where they MATCHED the price if I found the same vehicle cheaper elsewhere Which I did With lower mileage Same spec more extras They argued the car I was buying from them was a “space Grey” color Therefore this accounted for the higher price EVEN THOUGH THEIR OWN WEBSITE LISTED THE CAR COLOUR AS “grey” When I got the car registration documents back from the DVLA it officially lists the color as “GREY” So they do not go or their own policy Would NEVER buy from them again Nor recommend that dealership Felt more like a cattle market

Bought a 21 plate mercedes 2 weeks ago, had to pay an extra £100 to have the car delivered from another site then £25 to have the tax changed from a motorbility, the car only came with 1 key so that's another £400, also I had to have it valeted as the previous owner was a heavy smoker.

Bought a 2017 Mazda 6 from Manchester with a faulty differential. Took car in to be fixed at Warrington was told it was 4 loose wheel nuts?!?! Absolute rubbish! Had the car in a proper garage 10 days prior to carshoo looking at it and was told it was the differential. 3 weeks later back in the carshop Warrington on a Saturday had to ring customer services at half 5 for an update. Had to ring them back again Sunday after being promised I would gear from someone?? Diagnosis - Car has a faulty differential, who would have guessed? Had to take spare key to pick my car up as they had locked mine in a safe box and gone home for the weekend. Told car is safe to drive until they book it in at a specialist and they have no courtesy cars available. Still haven't had anyone ring me to fix my car, phone branches you get put through to customer services who don't do anything useful.

I visited Warrington today I was welcomed buy a very friendly guy called Andy ntege he was helpful and had a good sense of humour he explained everything made me feel at ease I was unsure about buying the car but when he explained everything I was happy to purchase the car he handed me to joe Gorman who also was very helpful and explained the warranty and the benefits you get and last bit was past to a lady who was also friendly can’t explain how friendly and professional everyone was also the car was outstanding (love it )I would 100% recommend CarShop Warrington defiantly be using them again also got a curtesy call the day after from Mitchell nuttall Thank you Lee (north wales)
