Having has a previous bad experience with another garage I was a but nervous about buying off a website/over the phone but I have to say Phil at Cartec made my whole experience absolutely 1st class! From my initial enquiry to the hanfover of the cars the whole process was fantastic! I was originally due to collect the car but due to an unforseen issue with the infotainment system and it needing a part, So I wasn't inconvenienced, Phil very kindly offered to deliver the car to me (65 miles away) free of charge and even with a full tank of fuel !!! The car was delivered on the back of a truck by their lovely driver and in absolute pristine condition with all the relevant paperwork and documents in a folder. Absolutely 100% recommend Cartec and would not hesitate to go back when I'm looking to change my car again. Just a shame they aren't on my doorstep of I wouldn't hesitate to use them for MOT and service. Thanks again Phil!

My car was booked in for an interim service today after booking online with fixmycar.com for £65. After bringing it in (and driving through the tunnel) I received a phone call after getting home saying that the price was wrong and that it was actually going to be £150 minimum - 132% more than the online quote. I checked elsewhere and could get it done tomorrow for £105 and said this, asking if they would match that price given that it was their error and they already had the car. It was a flat out no. So the car has been picked up and I've wasted £10 in tunnel fees with absolutely zero apology from Cartech at any point on the phone or when collecting it. Absolutely disgraceful service. I sincerely hope the loss of business from myself, and further family/friends and those who see this review was worth the £40 saved. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere if you don't want to get hit with hidden costs.

Hi, i have been using this garage for 2 years now, and i only wish i had discovered it a long time ago as i cannot recommend this garage enough !. The reception is very friendly and helpful and the prices are amongst the best i have ever had relating to mechanical work on my car and the work is outstanding !!!. If you need a garage for repairs , servicing or MOT's don't waste you time trawling the internet or phone books anymore give them a call you won't regret it ...THANKS VERY MUCH . So I had a recommendation to ring Cartec Motor Company and within an hour they had picked my car up from work. Really friendly people to deal with and gave me options of what I could do. Bought a VW GOLF GTD 2010 in white, cane with excellent service history at an excellent price. Just had a minor thermostat problem so took it in to get fixed under the excellent value for money warranty I purchased with the car. Well all I can say is WOW the after sales is as if my car was brand new from a dealership and not a used car sales. Bought second hand car from Cartec Motor Company for son in Jan 2016. Service from Cartec has been excellent,got a good deal.Had to take to Toyota for safety recall, they found some problems!!,amounting to £1400!! Went straight to Cartec guys, cost a lot less and Toyota had seemed to have exaggerated problems and price!! Any problems (10 yr old car) they always make sure seen asap and if part to be ordered even bring you home (25mls). Extended warranty worth the money and piece of mind.
