Found perfect car on Auto Trader to look at and possibly make enquiry about trading my current car in as part exchange. Found the car in perfect condition no faults visible, enquiring via reception sales staff took over, kind helpful no issues felt. On test drive tyre pressure warning popped up on dash possibly due to car idol ignored this but then engine management light came on asked sales staff who present explained ignore that will sort it ok????? On return to sales dept talked figures happy with quotes etc and wanted to go ahead with deal! Sales member could not finalise deal via finance and assured me he will be in contact the next working day! Brilliant myself and family left happy. No call next day arrived? Contacted them myselfs to a answer of so sorry been busy, will chase it up asap? Another week has past now still no reply obvious forgot about me I feel so looking elsewhere to take my business! Feel let down.
I was pleased with car time and would recommend them. They offered an excellent range of vehicles at superb value. Jason the sales rep was first rate, no pressure sales, very helpful, professional with his friendly approach and made the process very easy.

I have never felt so ripped off after buy a 60 plate Saab 9-3 for £7,500 from Cartime, Bury. From day one I had issues - I should have took that as a warning, but I thought, the car is just over 3 years old - how bad could it be? I've had a quote to fix the issues - thermostat housing in the cooling system and a buckled alloy £1,200. I've already had to spend £600 on the car... It appears that Cartime did a botch job to sell the car that should not have passed an MOT - which raises more questions. It also had a smashed fog light, they painted leather seats to hide marks, the key-fob looked chewed and the electric mirrors didn't work. During the warranty period I called over 20 times on one particular day to be passed from pillar to post then the call was 'hung-up'. Don't let them ask you to pay for hire car insurance either - I did the first time, then my insurer told me otherwise - they should have their own insurance!! All I want is for my car to be fit for purpose, you know, generl day to day use. If I exceed 3,00 rpm or 20 miles, I have to top up the cooling system! I'm still trying to get a refund or a repair paid for - now they don't want to know. Please do not use Cartime - I'm sure some people have had a good experience, but the experience I have had, it's been the worst I have EVER had to deal with.
