Been trying to purchase a car since Sunday, now 36hrs in the making and still as far away from owning as I was when I was choosing my Sunday Chicken dinner in Morrisons earlier same day. I chose my car, chose the plan, accepted my Px Deal and paid a Deposit. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was done my end correctly. Chose the the delivery date for 2 weeks ahead so I could remove Personal plate and global tracker from my Px Car...........nobody can tell me what the hell is happening. I’ve had emails of what to do on handover delivery day, even warranty PDF files to download.......but no car and with my deposit At Cazoo. Everytime you ring you get a different person and in fairness you get tired of repeating the whole situation to a different person, requests to speak to Management are ignored and/or they chose not to Call Back as requested. This has been my most Stressful wouldbe purchase I’ve ever had. I am no nearer a CAZZOO car owner than I was last Weekend albeit loosing funds for deposit of a fictitious car. When this goes bad as it clearly has for me, CAZZOO is Clueless and I cannot recommend EVER

I bought my car , first time in line but the 7 day change your mind really appealed to me . Great after care service to with their 3 month warranty and friendly informative helpful service over the phone . I would not hesitate to recommend them as a company to deal with . 5*
Never bought a car on line before so was really nervous. I needn't have been. Everything went really smoothly and I am very pleased with my purchase. Dave the driver who delivered the car was very helpful and spent some time explaining different points of the car as its very different from anything I've driven before. From my own experience with this company I would recommend using them. They have hundreds of cars to choose from. I spent quite a few days on and off looking through them all. I remember when i bought my previous car going from one place to another until I found what I wanted. This was so much easier.

These guys are selling ex-rental cars as “one previous owner”. Over all I went with them because I really did not want to deal with sleezy car sales people, but it turns out cazoo is no different. Lets start with the good. The delivery was as scheduled and the man who delivered the car in a truck, super professional, patient and friendly. Basically this is the aspect the founder of the company focused on being different and it shows. However the rest of the “promises” in my experience are all nonsense. The shopping part was easy, viewing the cars online and finding the one you like. However, while the reports they show you, do highlight damage, it does not show everything. Over all this was my negative and disappointing experience. The excitement of buying a new car was quickly tarnished after clicking the buy button. When the delivery came and I found extra scratches and issues, the driver said these fall under “wear and tear”. I was excited to finally have the car after 10 days and having already taxed and insured the car I was very reluctant to return it on the spot. This was the second in a list of disappointments. The first happened when I clicked the buy button. Their process fell apart almost immediately, due to them only accepting email addresses from the likes of Gmail or Yahoo. (but without any error messages shown to you) Thus they took the money immediately, but I had to chase them for two days to get a receipt or confirmation. (because their outsourced email system, could not send emails to non-gmail addresses) Eventually their support team manually pushed the purchase thru their systems. After receiving the car, the following days I realised that the information/entertainment system was not working properly. I had to talk to the original car manufacturer, who after a few days, came back and told me the car was previously owned by Enterprise Rental and the car was a ex-rental car. They said car hire companies disable these systems in the car. After 5 days and a lot of hassle I was able to get the systems enabled. After discovering this, now a week had passed and sending the car back becomes problematic. I took the car to an authorised official dealer, who did a proper check and replaced a few things and did a very deep clean of the interior and aircon etc. (this was not free) I contacted Cazoo about the potential deception and pointed out that they are supposed to let a buyer know they are selling a ex-fleet/ex-car rental car under law etc. Their response was its in the fine print in the terms of conditions, as a buyer you have to phone them and expressly ask if the car is a ex-fleet/rental car and they stand by the one owner information. This was their response “ownership still stands correctly at one previous owner, as the car was owned by the rental company” and they gave this pathetic excuse “as each car we sell could have a different background, we are unable to list this specifically for each car”. Pathetic, because each car has detailed reports on scratches and defect information, but somehow they can’t list it as ex-fleet/rental. Basically they denied hiding the information, as its in their terms and conditions. “…also included in our terms and conditions that some vehicles can be previously used for rental purposes, so this information was not purposefully hidden..” Hope you found this useful, do phone and ask them expressly the history, and keep the evidence to hand. Also don’t be fooled by the easy return, it comes with loads of catches (do read the terms carefully) and don’t forget you end up having to tax and insure the car before delivery, rolling all that back is not that simple. My experience was deeply disappointing and ruined a expensive purchase.

I recently bought a car from Cazoo, I was very worried about buying a car online and especially from such a new company. The car arrived as it should and I am absolutely chuffed with it. I would definitely use them again, buying a car this way was so easy. Thanks Cazoo!!
A very unbelievable experience for Cazoo they are offer a seven days moneyback guarantee which sounds great but when you try to use it. Things quickly go wrong if you take your car on finance you have to reapply for finance in taking up the seven days money back guarantee they have been try telling me I have to pay £250 for a second car which on the website clearly state £100 but I did not mind as the first experience was pretty good but the second car was very faulty and being a qualifier vehicle technician I decide to return the second car As driving the car within a few miles the engine management light come on, there was no water in the expansion bottle/radiator so the car overheat within a few miles 3 to be exact, as I let it run a bit before driving it, so I decided to take up there seven days money back guarantee again as driving a car that’s been overheated once most likely will have problem later on down the line and paying over £14,000 for a car that may or may not be good in a 1000 mile, it’s best to be safe and return it after returning my car because of it being faulty cazoo has cost me hassle saying that I should contact DVLA to get a new logbook and send it to the Cazoo, Free-post address I try contact DVLA but due to the COVID-19 there was close, anyway two day later after they have picked up the car the logbook arrived so I sent it back today vis there free post address over seven days ago which they are claiming now that they haven’t received it and refusing to give me a refund for something that they are clearly hiding and refuse from doing also the finance company is still billing me for a car I do not have, before I bought my car from Cazoo I have a car and a deposit to buy a new car and I’ve got enough credit history to get credit for car finance if needed after dealing with Cazoo they have left me without a car without a deposit for a new car and unacceptable for Finance due to the number of time they have run search on me (Evolution Finance) and accepted before all this i was promise by Cazoo to me a car but after returning there faulty car they refuse from sending/selling me a car although it clearly was a fault which I have taken pictures and video evidence and send it over to cazoo customer support it’s not that I am new to online buying I have buyer a bikes before from Superbike Factory without any problem, I will be complaint to trading standards, the fact is Cazoo do not appreciate the customers and neither are they willing to refund customers in a hurry it’s been over a month now and I’m still waiting on a refund from Cazoo for my first car that I return, now they are also saying I did not give them the logbook but on this occasion I’ll give it to the driver which he has ticked on the system that the customers have give him the logbook back, You can say I am Cazoooo about it all. I do hope there is a newspaper or some kind of press that would like to hear my story in more details and see the proof and evidence that I have about Cazoo.

It the same with booking a b + b or hotel. Someone should be held accountable, nobody wants to know when your in no mans land, these sites should be labelled as phishing websites. I just read your story and it feels that your stuck in the middle of nowhere going from pillar to post not to mention the extra time, effort and money finding another product.
Super stuff, hope they stay and prosper. So far so good. A Smooth process from start to finish. Treated myself to bmw very happy with it. Would always recommend!

Ordered a Nissan Leaf on the 10th February, website and communications were great up till this point. I like the 360-degree imagery and general feedback seemed good also. The Cazoo ethos appealed to me and I do think it could be the future of car purchasing. We selected 15th for delivery but when I checked confirmation email for time slot it said 22nd, contacted support and was informed that I must have chosen that date and there were no earlier dates. We put it down to our error and waited. Just gone 7pm the day before our delivery date (a mere 12 hours before) I received a call informing me that there was something wrong and the car and it would not be delivered. Despite multiple attempts to extract some morsel of information, we were left with I promise to call you tomorrow morning with an update. Was busy Saturday as we were having the charger installed for the no show car. Gone 3 pm and still no call, so I call them (this became the norm with most promises to call me back). Manage to squeeze out of them a note on the system saying that the AA was not able to fix and that it was at the main dealership. Unable to give me any more information and another promise to call me by Sunday. Late Sunday, I’m the one to call yet again, speak to an agent and she agrees that this is completely not acceptable and sounded genuinely eager to help. States that the car should be fixed tomorrow and looks at the next earliest delivery dates, about 2 weeks. Before I can air any grievance with this she declares that that is not on and she will arrange something sooner under the circumstances. She is absolutely going to get somebody to call me back tomorrow to arrange another delivery and let me know what was wrong with the car. Finished work late Monday and strangely had to be the one to call. Again no further update and another promise to call me back. Tuesday, I was called back this occasion and within the time frame requested. The update is that the car is going into the dealership tomorrow and booked in to be looked at Thursday. Basically, I was lied to and getting any update is like getting blood out of a stone. Decided to cancel the order as they were not being open and transparent about this, what else are they misleading me. If they had been frank with me and apologetic I would have begrudgingly waited as these things do happen. I did not appreciate having to be the one constantly chasing and feeling like all the support agents wanted to do was get me off the phone. A goodwill gesture or compensation would have gone a long way. TOTAL SHAME. Now let's wait for the refund so we can buy elsewhere.

Cazoo was a great experience, I was nervous to buy a car from the website to start with, but then I saw the TV advert. I was looking at multiple makes at the time, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, but the 7 day no quibble hand back was interesting to then purchase my next car. Gave piece of mind and the detailed pictures of my new car was enough to make the decision. Thanks Cazoo.
