Sold me a car that needed £thousand to repair. Over 6-months of hassle for me ending up going to court. Customer service non existent

I was impressed with the Cazoo website and the promises they made, so I ordered a car and paid the full amount. Then came the reality… Car delivery was promised for a certain day but then cancelled at the last minute because “the car had been damaged”. Delivery was promised for a day or two later but then that was missed… then another promise and another miss… then eventually an open-ended promise that they would contact me sometime the following week when the car had been repaired. (Throughout all this, I asked repeatedly for a photograph of the damage but they wouldn’t send one). When I eventually gave up and asked for my order to be cancelled, they said that would take 5-10 business days to make the payment. So I can’t even go and buy a car from somewhere else for another two weeks until Cazoo decide to refund the money. There is no excuse for poor communications like this and there is no reason that it should take 5-10 business days to refund a customer’s money. Don’t be fooled by the pretty website… it’s still a horrible buying experience in the end.
Was supposed to pick my car up on Tues 25th October (so sold mine the same day privately), only for them to cancel saying theres an issue with the roof on the car. It was re-booked for Thursday the 27th October they cancelled that appointment 2 hours before pick up saying the cars missed transportation. The next available appointment wasnt until 2nd November. So i had to use 3 holiday days at work and miss 2 days unpaid as i wasnt able to get there. I had the car 2 days when the battery died (so another day of work missed) rac came out and said the battery needed replacing so rang cazoo and they said they will replace it and get me a courtesy car but the earliest they could fix the problem was 5 days time and there was no courtesy car available for another 4 days so im now stuck without a car for work. Really has been a bad experience with them. *update* Courtesy car never turned up so still without a car. Cazoo saying theres nothing wrong with my car battery even thou rac report says poor cold cranking amps so your battery no longer has the power to start your vehicle. They picked my car up and took it away to sort battery, there now saying they wont drop car back off iv gotta travel to get it. Forever seem to be phoning and emailing them for answers. Seriously stay away they may have alot of good reviews but you could be the next me or one of the other one star customers
Well this is what the advertise "300 point check to a high standered" Well read on.. I'll try to keep short as possibly. Pick car up when nearly home could here a a loud metallic squealing noise from the rear. Reported to Cazoo after waiting 15 minutes for them to answere told me to take to Kwik fit under there account not only did they find the rear pads worn out but had to replace the front disk and pads but it gets worse the rear tyres were discribed as being in a dangerous condition they had been run flat and the side walls were in very poor condition and full of tyre weld. Know the paint... Front bumper .missuing numberplate holder so they screwed there plate to the bumper and wedges a piece of plastic under the plate to hold it up and obvious signs of damage to the bumper.. Rear bumper filled with filler and painted by a 10 year old( sorry 10 year old is a bit generous) Still waiting for the bodywork issues to be resolved
Car not as advertised. Seat and seatbelt soiled with vomit or sticky substance noticed when got back. Whole car not cleaned properly and was paid for valet but just to hoover etc. Asked not to clean because they applied a cazoo guard to the seats that I paid got. But noticed the soiling when got vehicle back home. They used this cazoo guard the sealed in the soiling more I raised my concerns on this they said they would try to clean and rectify they did this twice and did not work. Actually worsened the seat itself and now they will not sort it. I went back in the first 7dsys so would have had all rights to return vehicle but I was made to feel this issue was going to be sorted. It I had known it couldn’t be I wouldn’t have kept the vehicle. They have had me on with this 6 months now! And still not sorted and refusing to help more. I gave them benefit of doubt and now I’m fobbed off. The customer service has definitely got worse as it’s gone on and I defintely feel it’s something to do with the business now failing. I now see so many speaking of poor quality and misadvertisement. My next step is to take it to the ombudsman as some of their staff mentioned it is an ongoing issue from in the 7 day bracket and was well within my rights for a return but then others refused. I also believe this to be based on the failing business. Really disgusted I’m left with a car I am unhappy with paying money out per month. So please don’t buy with these I am devastated I gave such a huge amount of money coming out with a horrible seat now. And also to mention one staff offers me a reupholster which I would have been a little happier with but now it’s been refused! I was happy to exhange to vehicle for an of similar one but they won’t even do this!! They palming their mishaps into me. I expected so much more. On Face value all the flashy bits and bags and gifts etc. But deeper down under the surface not a good business .

was sold a car that had no tire jack. So had to call AA when I got a flat tire. Contacted Cazoo but they did not concede this was wrong. Refused to replace it. I will not use them again.
WARNING! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY. Recently bought a £19k car from this company - they misadvertised the quality of the car completely. A couple of hours before delivery, they called to say that it needed repairing, no less than 6 dents that weren’t on the imperfections list. They were not able to show me photos of the dents so that I could re-evaluate the car. Upon delivery a week later - low and behold, the deliver driver couldn’t provide any information about the dents. The car had obviously not been looked after as well as they advertised. The various costs during the week delay (tax, insurance, holiday, fuel, general inconveniece, work) was refunded after a long and arduous process of collecting receipts and wasting a lot of work time - a grand total of £13. Laughable. The whole process was anything but simple and seamless. This is a terrible company - stay well clear to avoid getting conned.

I had bought Rangerover Evoque from cazoo. I did collect from cazoo wembly on 23/12/21. I drove 1st day on On M25 on 30/12/21. While driving EML light comes up on Dashboard. Car come up with 3 month warranty. Did call them and email them on 3/01/22. They booked in for investigation on 17/01/22. And said lambda sensor was repaired. Did drive again and had same issues within week. The contact them. They book me in again wembly and said cazoo wembly can’t repair it. They book me for RSH Perivale. They check and report never been shared with me. Then they put me on wait nearly 2 months. When i sent them lots of email & call them several time. Also during this tome there was problem heat show on exhaust. They did book it again in cazoo wembly. They did said same they can’t do anything. During this they just earn time. They book me in JLR slough. Got report that its same lambada sensor & DPF need to replace. Now cazoo saying its out of warranty. During this they zcazoo was dragging me here and there and just earn time. Which is very cheap act. The ELM ( engine management light) is still on. So please v v v careful if you buying when buying car from cazoo

I saw a car I put it on reserve and then when I went to pay for it the next day Cazoo had increased the price, after three days still have not
