When I bought this car from Central Motors, I was really pleased with it, Even though I asked on four occasions to look at the service history. But I always got told " Ho, it been done, by the last one" or "The car details are in the Vehicle, having its MOT done" When I did finally took a look at the service History and when I already bought the car. There, hadn't been a service done since 2019. So, I then rang to talk about this matter, all I got was "Ho the chap had done it his self and I shouldn't worry about it. Well, I then told Dale that I wouldn't have bought the car if I knew there wasn't a full-service History been done, as the car had done over 133000 miles. Also, Warranty companies won't cover if cars as got full-service History. I wonder what AU would think about that? Maybe, I should give them a call? So the next time I spoke to Dale, he told me he would pay for me to get the car an Oil change and Oil filter done, Which came to £114.62. I sent the proof and my bank details over in an email. so he can pay me back. But he AS NOT PAID ME BACK! I feel I won't see any of that money again. It's really sad that Folk has to give negative feedback to get Dale Perrins, attention! So I won't be buying from Central Motors again.

As explained several times… the vehicle in question was serviced 6 months ago by the previous owner who did the work himself. You emailed me yesterday asking if I would pay for you to get an oil and filter change done which I agreed to. 24 hours later you rang our office (on my day off) demanding the payment and threatened my colleague that if it wasn’t paid immediately you would leave a bad review. It would literally have been paid tomorrow morning had you not acted so poorly. Ps the warranty is our own run by AU Warranties who are an admin company (again as explained).

Hi Dale, To be frank, I wasn't aggressive on the phone to James, to be honest, I think he's a nice chap. Anyway, I did try to explain to James that I needed the money back as I needed the money to pay a bill. I was a bit annoyed because you never return my calls, and with some negative reviews about you and AU warranties, I can see I had good reason to be. I'm, right you still haven't paid me? It doesn't take that long to do a bank transfer? You wouldn't like it if I took days to pay you, I am in fact Disabled, I suffer from Fibromyalgia, and Arthritis, I haven't got a lot of money to throw away as it took all my money from the sale of my car £12,995 to pay for the car I had off you, So show me you can do the right thing and pay me what you owe me. Anyhow, I only told the truth in the last review, I don't tell lies as I'm a religious person. At the end of the day, Dale, when you own a business there's no time to have days off, you could have got back to me, to reassure me your payment will be done the next day, but you didn't. And I wasn't rude to James, I just asked him why you don't get back to your customers, after the sale. Sorry, you see it that way. Virginia Collier

Bought a ford mondeo off Adam at Central Motors in June. Went to open the window last week and heard something snap very annoying. Called them up and spoke with a guy called Dale who sent me to a garage who repaired it free of charge. Wanted to say thank you as they also gave me a car to use for the day so I didn’t have to miss work.

Pre applied for finance online got approved and travelled over to collect. Was delighted with how easy the process was. Happy to recommend Central Motors and will be back for sure.

Found the garage opposite online and went to see a car but wasn’t great so had a look at these guys. Was impressed with choice and quality compared to what I’d seen. Staff at Central Motors are friendly and couldn’t have helped more.

Had a car on HP from central motors back in jan this year . 3 weeks ago i got towed of the motorway ive since found out the turbo and the DPF is blocked , i travel 50 motorway miles per day so this should'nt happen so early on so this must've been partly when i had the car, ive contacted central motors they agreed to pay half the money towards it £250 to which i declined as i thought i should'nt have to as i was led to believe there was a warranty that was before i found out the DPF was blocked now the bill is £1250. it came with a warranty thats worthless.

Hi Mr Round. Thats not exactly what has happened here is it? You contacted our warranty provider 10 months/9,500 miles after purchase to say your turbo had gone and you had a quote to repair it. When they looked into this further it turned out the garage who you said had quoted you has never actually even seen the car. I wrote to you explaining this and asked you to contact me so I could see what I could do to help which you havent done?

Of course i took it to the garage . Ive got the quote your welcome to see it. At the end of the day you sold me a car with a warranty based on 70.000 for the turbo, the car was already on 75000 when I bought it from You regardless of the miles I've done there ain't no restrictions on the miles. Warranty is warranty. And I've had no contact of you personally since the first time I got in touch with you

This dealership under its current name of Central Motors has ceased trading. Car Dealer Reviews recieved an email from this business owner, Dale Perrins notifying us that a new business with the name Central Motors Lye (Limited) will be opening from the same address, using the same phone number and having the same website address.
Stourbridge based Central Motors was a family run and owned used car dealer but ceased trading on January, 1st, 2017.
