Today is the 4th anniversary of buying the best car I ever bought, a red 2008 renaultsport 225 megane, guy was fair & did the deal for returning customer price that I proposed and what great value it turned out to be. Ironically when setting out from Darlington to Manchester to view the RS I had not realised this was same trader I bought my previous car from 1.5d meg, which I was equally happy with.
I wouldn’t even give Central Park Car Sales one star if that were possible bought a Nissan micra 56 reg from them in jan at 1,300 pound only to have it back with in a matter of weeks sounding like a jetwash he took the car to his cowboy garage over the way as it was under warranty to be looked at , they had my car all day no update diagnosis or anything from either the garage or the dealer all day when I contacted them and explained I needed to get back I was told he had just put a new pully in it although when I dropped the at off he said he was sure it was the alternator he then tried to bill me for the part as it’s not covered under warranty I did NOT give him permission to put the part in my car nor discussed a price for it it was done without my permission illegal !!!!!! I agreeded with the car dealer to pay him back half the cost on payday only on getting my car from there to my driveway 5 min drive I got out n the noise was still there loud as ever ! I contacted him and he told me to bring it back I don’t think so! I told him I was not paying him for a part he’s claimed to put in but the problem still there , I drive the car with the loud embarrassing noise got it checked with a trusted garage not his cowboys who said it needs a new alternator car cut out on me yesterday right next to the dodgy dealership I complained to him about the state of the car and he came with all his attitude and excuses basically telling me I’d driven it for 5 months with no problems and it’s an 56 reg with high millege what do I expect I have never been so furious with somebody’s attitude in my life read loads of reviews here since he only replies to the negative ones with excuses and the same attitude I’m now 1300 out of pocket for a car I’ve had 5 months with nothing but problems other problems I noticed days after the purchase driver window broken won’t go up n gets jammed CD player not working and all I’ve had is a bad attitude and for him to think it’s acceptable to charge me 1300 for 5 months worth of car 😂 I’m sure hel put some rubbish up under this review as he has all the other bad reviews he didn’t bat an eyelid yesterday when I said I’m leaving a bad review when I came on here I see why he’s clearly used to it 🤷🏻♀️ Excuses ignorance , and to say to me what do I expect paying 1300 for a car was just a disgrace that is a lot of money to me on minimum wage with two children absolutely discusting . How tracing standards haven’t shut him down il never know but take note avoid these cowboys at all costs il be contacting trading standards myself regarding this very very disappointed just for the record the car I had prior to this I bought at 480 pound on 02 reg and never once let me down in the years I had it so all his excuses don’t wash with me don’t end up a victim to his daylight robbery and as for the garage opposite he uses they want to cut all ties as they are goin gonna. To end up with very little custom and a lot of complaints
I traded my Golf GTI 35 for an Alfa Brera. Strange decision you might say but Martin at Central Park Car Sales offered a fair exchange with money my way. I drove from Perthshire slightly worried that it may be a wasted journey. The Alfa was as described, it needed a few items sorted out but I was aware of them and factored it into the overall deal. My Golf wasn't showroom condition and Martin didn't try to bargain me down or renege on the deal we'd struck over the phone. I had an extensive test drive with absolutely no pressure to make a decision. In fact, quite the opposite, Martin listened as I hummed and hawed about whether or not I should swap in my Golf. Decision made and the transaction was simple, Martin transferred funds to my account immediately, filled out all the paperwork, provided insurance, RFL and a 5 star warranty with an independent warranty company. (The Alfa is a 12 year old car!) I suspect the poor reviews you may read are more about how the customer approaches Martin with issues. I also believe customers need to make their own thorough checks to cars they are buying, I have seen main dealers selling cars well below an acceptable standard but customers take comfort from the fact they are paying a hefty price tag. I have no hesitation in recommending Central Park Car Sales. Read the paperwork, document what you need attended to and don't take delivery until the car is as you want it...the same applies to buying a car from any dealer. Thanks to Martin, my Alfa is a pleasure to own and the transaction itself was a pleasure. (Didn't get to see your Fiat Coupe though!)
Purchased a car from Central Park Car Sales with several faults. Long story but within rights to return car for a refund within 30 days, dealer refused. See you in court.
I ve brought VW car from Central Park Car Sales on 27/12/2017 with electric windows problem that the dealer was supposed to fix before giving me the car as he promised and for that problem I had to take the car to the garage 3 time to be fixed One week afer buying the car I ve noticed 2 more problems clutch steaks to floor not going back up, And car struggle to start, Because of each problem I had to take the car at least 4 times to the garagevfor each fault but no one was able to diagnose the problems by the end of the 3rd month( 3 months warranty) that's why dealer gave me extra 6 moths warranty for that fault and finally the dealer's recommended garage has advised me to go to VW because only VW can fix the car, Dealer agreed for me to go to VW to fix the car but after he knew the bill £530 he refused to pay for that fault which was in the car from first day I bought it, Now and in total I ve visited the garages nearly 12 times plus 2 full days at VW because of those 3 fault,

I purchased a citroen DS3 from Central Park Car Sales in beginning of May. We noticed a few things were not working on it when we got it home. We called the showroom explained to them what wasnt working and they booked the car in to be repaired the following week, no ifs no buts. It has been fixed today and we are really happy with how this has gone, so smooth , no arguments., A complete stress free pleasure in doing business with them! Would highly recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COST! bought a car from this dealer a while back, and i have to agree with the other reviewer where it was said they only do quick fixes just to sell their cars. heres what i had to do on mine so far which has costed me more than £700r: NEW Flywheel NEW Clutch, and Caliper Save your time, save your money and most importantly save the hassle. You have been warned, avoid this dealer at all costs! Wouldn't recommend anyone buying from Central Park Car Sales. A lot of money spent.

From start to finish, everything was so smooth and stress free. The car is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They offered next mot for free and supplied good warranty. Would highly recommend buying a car from Central Park Car Sales.
I was sold a car that with a brand new MOT and 6 month Warranty. After driving the car i realised there was a problem with the brakes. After taking the car to my local trusted garage, they told me i had to replace a caliper and all my pads and disks where in a terrible state and needed replacing all round. As the warranty did not cover this i had to have these replaced. How it passed an MOT is beyond me. A few week later slight play in the gear box got gradually worse and selecting first and reverse became difficult. I was then told by the local garage that the bearings were knackered and would need a rebuild and also a new clutch. The clutch was not covered again by the warranty and after months of chasing for the gear box they finally authorised the repair. Now the repairs have been done the warranty will not pay the garage as they have gone into administration. In all this the car dealer does not want anything to do with it and will not accept any responsibility. Avoid at all cost. ££££ out of pocket.

Hi. For all customers reading this post. Customer had over 30% left on his brakes wich isn't a mot failure, however he forgot and I paid for both front and rear discs and pads on the same day as a gesture of goodwill. He then reported the gearbox problem 5 months after the sale. Well done. Full of lies.
We recently purchased an SLK for my wife from Martin. On the test drives we identified two small issues and when we sat down to negotiate with Martin in addition to the competetive trade-in and price, he agreed to cover the cost of the two issues. My wife continues to be delighted with the car and we would not hesitate to recommend Central Park Car Sales
