Today Purchased a alfa Mito at £5.7k with 42k (13 plate) on the clock and its very clean. Attended 3 weeks ago with my trade in , a peugeot 208 13 plate with 50k on clock. Car had engine management light on which was checked by John and was possibly either landa? Sensor or possibly worse case catalytic converter. Because of this, as they were taking a risk, could only offer £2.1k. Had to wait 3 weeks whilst a new airbag sensor arrived and was fitted in order to pass mot. Thought i got a fair deal and would definitely consider again for another car.
Very poor customer service. Century Motors Sheffield tried to charge a deposit for a test drive then took 6 weeks to refund less than 45% of the cost to replace an exhaust which fell off the car 6 days after purchase.

Please just don't bother with Century Motors Sheffield. Deep pockets required to keep this thing on the road. Purchased car in August 2018. Day I picked car up abs light came on. They did replace the sensor. Fly wheel and clutch they did replace after I noticed chatter but if it was done "under warranty", as they claim, why did it cost me £300 towards. After clutch and flywheel work bolts between transmission and sub frame came loose whilst myself and car full of kids were touring lake district. Century tightened these up and greased. Came loose again and another garage informed me that these bolts should not have been greased. Garage removed greasing and retightened. £30 labour charge. No problem since. Also, whoever did the clutch and flywheel work at century or on behalf of century, didn't tighten the central wheel nut to the drive shaft up properly which could have been pretty catastrophic, so you can probably understand why i now wouldnt trust century motors to brew a cup of tea properly. Offside rear brake caliper seized and needed replacing.£120. Then abs light came on again so needed another sensor replacing.£60. Had a knocking from front and upon inspection a bolt had come out of radiator so needed bolt from vw.£10. Oil level sensor has failed. £130. Oil leaking from filler cap. New cap and gasket needed. £15. Split in screen washer hose. £10. Had asked century about front end knock when it went back to them each time but got no response, anyway local garage have diagnosed nearside front shocker top had failed.£100. Engine bottom mount failed.£60. Nearside front drop link failed.£30. Offside front wheel arch rusted through and piece even fallen off so getting new wing for £300. Paint starting to bubble on other wing as well.Another £300 at some point. Seems a lot of work to me to have had done in a short space of time. Car cost me £6000 which is a lot of money to me. Expected better. Car is to ferry 4 young kids about so reliability was paramount but hey ho you live and learn. Main dealers next time. After the flywheel and clutch job i did contact Ricky at century about the brake caliper and front end knocking but they did not want to know so I've just had to take it on the chin and get my wallet out. Also DO NOT BUY the aa warranty they try selling you. AA warranty do not want to know with anything. But then I suppose that should be a seperate review for AA warranties, so anyway , back to main point . Don't buy a car from Century motors. It's quite a list of repairs within 6 months of ownership in my opinion.

Short test drive was offered. Car was in poor condition. Tried to negotiate a sale with no commitment in making the repairs. Don’t waste your time with Century Motors Sheffield. Some potentially good stock, but overall looks like they are selling cars they know have issues and leave them sitting on the forecourt getting worse.
We went to look and test drive a car we had seen on the website, Arrived and was left to look it over, the car was in a absolute state, asked to test drive but was told we couldn't if we didn't have the money on us to buy straight away and wouldn't leave a deposit or commit to buying it. Left and went elsewhere, they didn't seem interested at all
I recently purchased my Vauxhall America from Century Motors (with a lot of help from Zuto) and have to say I’m delighted with it! The guys were friendly which always helps, and the car was ready and waiting for me. The downside was the £39 admin fee I had to pay them which hadn’t been mentioned before! Also the vehicle was only partially valeted which was a little disappointing and only just enough fuel to get to the fuel station down the road.
The Century Motors Sheffield website certainly looks the part and having been established since 1958 gives a degree of assurance that any potential purchase would be treated in a professional manner so that when a car I was very interested in buying was listed as a" New Arrival", I filled out their reserve form with name, phone number, and email details. They state that someone from Century Motors would be contacting me regarding a deposit to secure. Four days on and I have had no contact from Century Motors. Sure, I could easily pick the phone up and phone them myself, but to be honest, the lack of customer interest blows any degree of professionalism out the window. I know for sure that the reserve form was received by Century, so no excuses!!! I'll look to buy elsewhere!!
I had seen another car elsewhere and had finance in place to purchase it, I then went to see Guy and Ryan who found me a lovely Nissan Juke in immaculate condition, Ryan sorted me out with new finance with a lower interest rate which meant I was paying the same monthly amount but for a younger car with lower mileage. Everything was in place for me within an hour. I have not had any issues with the car. I would use them again and definitely recommend Century Motors
What a joke of a dealership. Based on my experience I would not recommend Century Motors in Sheffield.
I purchased a Ford Focus from this dealership back in July. The car was clean and in good condition and but the car did developed faults and the dealer was only willing to help if I took the car back to them and Its over 70 miles away so I have just had to get the issues resolved myself. I would recommend them but I would suggest you have someone double check the car before
