I bought a car from them 3 years ago which should have been Category S, but sold as good. Now panels show rust and re-spray and the car is a write-off. Avoid this dealership.

Have used CRG for 10 years +. Always friendly, reliable, competently staffed and attentive. The customer's concerns are always put first. They keep my aging cars on the road with the minimal hassle, and long may they continue to do so. I could not wish for more.
Excellent service, prepared to go well above and beyond normal levels of service to help me out when I was in trouble, more than happy to recommend this garage and will defiantly be using them again, well done and thanks again CGR Car Sales.

I had engine problems on a return journey from Sheffield so called into CGR Car Sales without an appointment. I was helped immediately with a computer diagnosis of the problem and the garage arranged for the necessary part to be delivered. Within 2 hours I was back on the road. All of the staff (reception and mechanics) were so helpful and kind, Amazing service... so Thank You! Jill Oliver.
Two very satisfactory experiences at CGR Car Sales, with only one reservation. I found CGR through a specialist trade contact A Mk 5 Golf 2 litre TDI Four Motion had a persistent problem with loss of coolant. They found the problem seal, between the EGR system and the turbo cooler, produced a robust, detailed budget for the necessary investigations, checks, contingencies and work, and added value and performance and economy to the car as a result. A 19 year old Seat Cupra Sport developed an intermittent fault which turned out to be corrosion between the flywheel sensor and the EMS. Same approach led to similar results: smoother and more economical performance. I choose to get tracking done by a renowned specialist nearer to home.

CGR Car Sales are unfriendly, unhelpful staff that needed to phone the boss every time I asked a question. Car was a lot more scuffed (+dirty than pictures & described), found faults with the car when driving which were denied by staff ('because it's just been serviced'), refusal to lower the already high price or return the deposit. Having driven the car home found - bearings needing replacement, clutch needing replacement, wheels need rebalanced and rear stereos don't work. Avoid these guys.
