Currently preparing to take the London Car Centre (Wembley) to court after 2 years of lies and excuses from Ian Connelly or Paul Lush or what ever his name is. He sold us a Spanish registered car without the appropriate paperwork i.e. selling the car illegally. If you have completed legal action against this man please send me details so I may add it to my case and hopefully put pressure for this man to pay his debts as decried by law. emma@cardy-brown.com

Ian from Chariots London Ltd in response to Terrible
And justice prevailed as we won the day in court. As the judge also recognised the story was a complete falicy and it was actually yourself who was preventing the cause of justice by obtaining numerous parking fines and speeding tickets and using some ridiculous story as an escape goat. Here here to the uk justice system.
Avoid this dealer. In May 2015 travelled from Northern Ireland to look at an Audi TT which I had paid a deposit on. The car was absolutely not as described. The owner Ian Connelly became very aggressive when he realised I would not buy the car. He pretended to pay back half of the £250 deposit I had paid through his phone app. I I ended up having to book expensive last minute flights to get home. I sought legal advice on my return and took him to a Small claims court. Ian did not turn up at court however wrote a statement to the judge which was full of lies including threats that he was going to take me to a criminal court!! The judge ruled in my favour and decreed that London Car Centre (Chariots) owed me the full deposit plus expenses. I have yet to receive a further penny from them. It transpires thar they have a history of not paying County court judgements. This company gives other car dealers a bad name. Please do not consider purchasing a car from them.
Ian from Chariots London Ltd in response to Drewsky
As you well know you paid a deposit on a low mileage Audi and you begged me to keep it for you as you were in Ireland and subsequently I took the car off the market for you and held it for two weeks. When you travelled to the uk it was your wife that said and I quote " Andrew darling I simply don't like the colour" this was overheard by my neighbours who then told myself after you left. All of a sudden you dream up some ridiculous story about the car being not up to your satisfaction. You also said to me Andrew as you weee arguing with your wife to keep the deposit you paid two weeks prior and you apologised for the mess around. Clearly this review was written by your wife, either that or you are an out and out liar.
Amanda Flowerday in response to Drewsky
As Andrew's wife I am responding to Ian's response. 1. I didn't write the review, Andrew did 2. I don't believe I have ever referred to Andrew as "darling" 3 The colour of the car was never a problem and was one of the few details accurately described about the car 4 There was never any "begging" to keep the car off the market. This was mutually agreed 5 We didn't travel to the UK. Northern Ireland is part of the UK 6 Which "neighbours" are you refering to who overheard the ficticious argument? 7 The only arguing that took place was between us and you. This was based on the condition of the car not being as described in your advertisement. 8 Most importantly you seem to forget that this case went to court. You didn't show up at court and the judge noted the inconsistency of your written statements. The judge had no hesitaton in ruling in our favour. 9 You have still not paid a penny of the court judgement including our expenses. If you would like another copy of the judgement we can send it to you. The court has already sent this out twice. 10 The only person who seems to be lying here is YOU. Please stick to the facts in response to your reviews.
I bought a car from Ian about 5 weeks ago, we drove for 2 hours to see it. On arrival we discovered the petrol cap would not open. He compromised on this by stating he would order the part and send it to me and pay for my local garage to fit it, as well as a 3 month full warranty. The part never arrived. As I said 5 weeks later and dozens of excuses later, I'm seeking legal advise to reclaim some money back from him. Stay clear at all costs!

Andrew Flowerday in response to Rach
I had a bad experience with London Car Centre aka Chariots. They did not pay back my deposit for a falsely described and advertised car. I took them to a small claims court. I still have not got my money back. They are liars, extremely dishonest and have a history of unpaid ccjs.
Ian from Chariots London Ltd in response to Rach
Yes Rachel you are right. We did owe you a new Petrol cap. Immediately after you purchased the 14 year old Renault Megane I travelled abroad as my father was unwell and your Petrol cap was forgotten about in my abscence. I also remember organising a member of staff to handle this which they did do and the part was received and signed for.
Stay away from this dealership at all costs or it will cost you your money. This dealership is also known as London Car Centre (Wembley). The owner Ian Connelly aka Paul Lush refuses to pay back our deposit. Basically deceiving customers seem the way to go with this dealership. Deal with Chariots London at your own risk.
Another Unhappy Customer in response to Ed
We had a similar issue just recently, my advice would be to steer well clear and deal with someone who gives a dam about their prospective customers
Ian from Chariots London Ltd in response to Ed
Hello Ed. You called me from america. The call was recorded. You put down a £500 deposit on a left hand drive car you said was for your residence in France. You then told Me your father in law would collect the car on numerous occasions and never showed. You then called me three weeks later and said you've changed your mind. Can I reiterate we are running a business and can I also educate you to google the meaning of a deposit. We done nothing wrong other than lose money because of you.
