Avoid this Peugeot Dealership at all cost. After using Robins & Day for years and being very happy with their service,I decided to use Charters Peugeot Reading for the first time as they were more local to me this time. Biggest mistake of my life! I had booked my car in for a routine major service which was supposed to cost £295. But on the day of the service,I was called by the service department saying they had found another fault and this was going to cost me £300 more! As I am not a technician and the department instilled a sense of panic into me and I agreed for the extra work to be done. When I went to collect the car,I asked to examine the part they replaced and I didn't see any defect with it,but I paid the full amount of over £600! On checking the service book I was shocked that it was filled out wrongly by a supposedly qualified technician! it was then that the problems got worse and I began to suspect that the extra work I was told was needed was actually needed. I suspected the dealership made up a non existant fault to extort more money out of me! When I raised the issue of the unnessecary work and my service book filled out incorrectly with the Aftersales Manager and the Director of the company they were simply not bothered. It seemed to me that they had got their money out of me and were not prepared to rectify matters. I had to question the fact that if a supposedly experienced technician was incompetant enough not to fill out a service book properly, how could I be sure he actually carried out the service or the supposed "repair" competantly? I bitterly regret using this Dealership and I strongly warn everyone to avoid them. I think they are crooks and conmen!!

I purchased a used car from Charters, Reading with Iqram. Excellent service, straight talking, would certainly recommend contacting Iqram if you are thinking of buy a new car.

Just bought a Mini Cooper Clubman from Charters in Reading. Was served so well by Iqram who was straightforward and helpful and not pushy at all. He sorted the car, MOT, tax and finance in a friendly and relaxed manner. A very unstressful experience and I now have a service agreement to get my car regularly cleaned and serviced at Charters. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second car I have bought from charters reading and once again the service was excellent Iqram was as usual very good., professional and very helpful with all aspects of the purchase of our car would recommend them to anyone looking for a car

I bought my Car From Charters Reading I have endless problems with the car but what has made me really mad was i needed a Tyre replacing due to a puncture and when i went to get the nut lock from where the spare Tyre is kept guess what there wasn't even one there in the space where it should of been so i rang Reading Store but i found the sales guy rude and just refused to replace the key so i have to foot yet another bill for this car which is only 18mths old!!, I will never buy from them again or will any of my family and friends please Be WARNED!!.

Having used Charters Reading for servicing my Peugeot 3008 very efficient, I was pleased to have a similar impression on buying a new SsangYong Tivoli. The sales representative Iqram Choudhury was very helpful and knowledgeable and clearly knew the product and the after sales queries were dealt with swiftly.
