I have left a lengthy review elsewhere. The car was an absolute lemon. MOT was missing advisories (worn tyres on inner edge) that a previous MOT had highlighted. Car misfired from day one. They said they'd sorted the fault, theyvclearly didn't. All correspondence was ignored. I've had to claim through my credit card company. If you buy from CTC you will get all you deserve. They sold my wife an Audi the same day, it never even made it home (expired turbo). My car was valued at 25% of cost in only three months and I am now rid of it. Thankfully.

Dear Sir, Firstly the car was MOT'd by a third party not us for clarity and a non bias DIAGNOSIS of the car that we pay for, We trust them and their integrity, we change and pay for what ever the car needs to pass an MOT. The coil pack failed you (Spark Plug) and was changed to our cost. We did not hear from you after this (Until later correspondence) so hard to help you when we are unaware of any situation sorry. The correspondence was not ignored when we received it (emails received and responded to) but you decided to go down your own route with the Lemon as you have described it to be. This was your choice Sir not ours sorry. Also you stated you only got 25% back for the value of the car when you disposed of it, I find this extremely hard to fathom due to the huge spike in the value of all second hand cars (Even Lemons) at present so unfortunately you may have been misadvised on the true market value you've let it go for sorry Sir. As to your now ex wife (Again you told us this through our correspondence you never received) she was more than happy with our service, yes you are correct the turbo was faulty when you drove it home as the cartridge failed, we replaced this but due to the time scale this was taking replacing the turbo we put your ex wife into another car with no issue's or bother which to my knowledge she left very happy and is still driving the car if I'm not mistaken. We understand you went through a break up after purchasing the cars from us which is very unfortunate Sir but you seemed to suggest this was down to us in some way with the hostility shown to us (correspondence we had from phone calls, emails etc) that holds no baring to us sorry Sir. As to your threat posted (that you will get what we deserve if you buy from us) Please ask the the hundreds of customers we sell cars to with the 5 star experience they receive, nobody's perfect but we do our upmost for all our customers here at CTC if given the opportunity to help. Yes you had problems and we rectified these to the best of our ability that we were aloud to or given the chance to. You decided to take your route and again we are very sorry but there was not much more we could of done for you Sir If we were unaware. would not touch them they seem all nice till they have got your money the car we purchased from then is nothing but trouble engine faults door locks not working today power steering fail have not found them help full at all more like cowboys really not worth bothering with marks out of ten its a minus THIS CAR HAS NOT DONE 300 MILES SINCE PURCHASE

I bought my Freelander from these guys in July 2020. I was told it came with a months warranty. Within that month a catastrophic engine failure occurred. It has taken until today, 7 months later and county court proceedings to get £1000 back from them. ( This did not cover the whole cost of repair but I had to cut my losses)!! I am sure that many people have had great experiences with this company as faults such as this rarely occur. However, the reason I went to a car sales centre was for ‘peace of mind’ and when things went wrong, they didn’t step up to the plate. They did everything to avoid paying out, but fortunately I documented everything meticulously and they realised they would never win at court. As stated, this was probably a once in a blue moon event, but I would hate for anyone else to be out of pocket, thinking they were covered by a professional company warranty.

Dear Richard, Thanks for your 100% one sided review. This matter was sorted through mediation also in your favour as that's how we do things to resolve issue's and you were still not happy. We have never ever had a customer with the threatening behaviour and threads of lies attached to this deal that we dealt with from yourself. Sorry but it was disgusting. It would take me all day to write the situation to how you were to us for only trying to help you, abusive, threatening, foul language, slander, garages refusing to deal with you that were only trying to help you as we did. I'm sorry this sounds as it does but we would never sell you another car as long as we live. How you feel you have the right to treat people like you have is disgusting
Have had a a very good customer service from Chepstow trade centre very honest and pleasant and his employees. Would recommend them to anyone.

I was in the process of buying a car and they sold it right from under my nose 2 days before I completed the deal even after I asked them to keep me in the loop... Small "second hand dealers" . Do not waste your time with these pretend dealers... Stop, and go elsewhere for a more honest deal...

Firstly gob smacked comes to mind. Fergus viewed the car, seemed interested, no deposit left as we are not pushy people, 98% of people who want to buy something leave a deposit as I would myself. You was away in Scotland for the week and will be in touch. You had a PX which you was unsure of what you were going to do with also due to it value. We had lots of interest in the car as I told you. I went on holiday and my business partner sold it over the phone to a very very happy chap. In a nut shell Furgus we are sorry you didn't leave a deposit on the car but unfortunately as a small business we cannot wait forever for people to decide whether or not they want a car as we won't have a business. Having Seen this review along with your emails Furgus we are also glad you did not buy the car as to your comments, name calling which are uncalled for. My advice to yourself is leave a deposit next time, it may save you and some unfortunate sole this pathetic situation. Many thanks and good day.
I bought a Vauxhall Astra from these guys and the service i received was second to none. They found the right car for me with the budget i had and made sure the car was right before it leaves the forecourt. I would highly recommend the Chepstow Trade Centre as good quality second hand cars are hard to find.
Did a part exchange with a good car and in return got a bad one not very happy. All I got from them was aww we are sorry . Well never again go to Chepstow Trade Centre.

I live some 3 hours from Chepstow Trade Centre. I found a car i liked the look of so i filled out the enquiry form. At this point one of the directors, Mark promptly contacted me and we discussed the car in detail. As i live some distance from CTC Mark was more than happy to send me through copies and pictures documents such as MOT for me to view as well as plenty pictures of the car itself. I made the decision to purchase. Meeting Mark put my mind at even more ease. A lovely guy, no nonsense involved. Cannot recommend him and his vehicles enough. Perfect car. Perfect service.
