So pleased to see they've finally closed, although wouldn't be surprised if they're back trading under a different name! Sold us an absolute shed of a car that was pretty much unroadworthy within 6 weeks. Pursued the seller in small claims, who did the usual tricks of taking it to a hearing but never turned up by pretending they had not received court papers 🙄 in the meantime, (while he was dragging it out) he was sneakily changing his business name to avoid paying, but we got him and our money back! Good riddance!
I payed 4K for a car and after 2 months the engine management light came on, I took it to a dealer to have a diagnosis and found out it was the selector valve had gone, I took it back the cherrywoods where all they did is fill me with crap saying they had sorted it, I took the car back a number off time and also family members did and still no joy, Warranty people said it wasn’t covered ( how ironic) £770 to fix the problem, then in the 3 month the oil pump has gone £1140 to fix the problem, know I have found out there is no more off cherrywood, hopefully he has fell down a hole, hope he gets what is coming to him ripping people off like that. Good riddance

Sold my son pile of crap i hope they get what they deserve i intend to pursue. Any one out there who has been sold a vehicle go on companies house you will find the details,
I am not surprised one bit that Cherrywood Cars has closed down. They basically robbed me and sold me a complete lemon. Then when I had the cheek to complain the owner of the company let rip on me!!! Good riddens

Same here. I've been chasing them through the courts for nearly 2 years. Finally get close and they shut up shop.
I bought car from them and afer 5 days of driving heard knocking in my car. They put all the effort to explain to me that its my fault and I had to has some accident ! Finally they accept it take the car to repaired and I was waiting 6 weeks. When I was calling and sending emails they was ignoring me. NEVER AGAIN !
We collected & delivered vehicles on there behalf. So much so they never paid us for this service owing thousands.
Cherrywood Cars sold me a car for 4k and felt comfortable in buying it cos it had 6 months warranty. 3months later i go back and they said we dont get involved with warranty some else deals with that and gave me a number to call... after many weeks of no answer and voicemails they finally pick up and turns out the company thats deals with the warranty is 126 miles away lol... awesome thanks guys! Btw that car has passed away ‘RIP’ It would have worked out cheaper if id rented a car instead.
I believe these guys work hand in hand with finance companies selling dangerous cars to people. avoid at all costs it cost us our life savings

Anon in response to robbed
Hi. I completely agree with you. Buying from them nearly cost me & and my family life. Cheap Chinese tires, falling apart, noisy wheel bearing, brake callipers fitted up side down (!!!), brake pads not secured at all (missing pins), cracked driver seat, oil& filter not changed for ages ( despite saying that it will come with full service). Car has been involved in accident ( despite having a clear HPI report). 3 panels badly painted (dents & bumps visible) When you come to look at the cars they will promise you anything to buy from them. Once you believe and pay them attitude change in the bad way. They should be reported to the police for putting people's lives in danger. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mikey in response to robbed
Hi thank you for the feedback guy and im sorry to hear about your losses we all share the same pain and loss its not only us but our familys and thats alot to take . you guys have opened up to me so ill open up to you i brought mine 1st of december a renault now ive had 14 zafira before this mainly m1 but also m2 so i knew the basics. My problem wasnt cherrywood cars to begin with it was the finance company who suggested them. Now their trying to rectify the problems so fair play to them on that but i only chose some finance so we can have some savings left. The car had mild heaters the day i brought it i phoned them they said its a renault thing i let it be. drove around abit and i just didnt feel safe so i phoned them and goes you need to check this out. they took 2 weeks saying were busy we will take a look. well after a week of having it i drove 12 miles from my house with these mild heaters on the way back they went cold. when i got home the coolant was fizzing out the cap. so i phoned them they goes phone the warranty i phoned the warranty and my warranty wasnt even active. They said bring it in so i did the next morning. The guy goes we changed the cam belt me there is air in the system. they bleaded the system . As im going home the heaters got cold so i phoned them they goes blead it tomorrow aswell so i did. by this time the xmas holidays kicked in and they stopped answering my calls. in janaury they closed down. Now i bet your saying why didnt you ask for your money back i did not only to them but the finance company who suggested them to me calling them a reptuble dealer. cherrywod got aggresive and said why money back we will fix it. they knew their closing down. While they was open the finance company tried to sell me a bogus insurance i goes are you mad the cars a death trap i wouldn't buy nothing off you any more. so they knew i had issues but they said call the dealer you got warranty. Now im not going to rip them apart online because even tough the cars been on my drive 37 days now their trying to sort the problem. its just the cars so damaged internally they cant figure out if its a cracked head gasket or cylinder head or cracked engine. The finance company sent out an independent inspector he checked the car 37 years of mechanical experiance he goes the fuel pump has issues and the head gasket or cylinder head or engine has a crack drawing in cold air mixing with the coolant. Guys the finance company is worth millions but their not willing to send it to renault dealers instead they want a local garage to sort it. But because the experienced inspector couldnt pin point the issue they have decided to pay someone else £300 to do the same check from a different company unless its stripped apart they will never know. so I dont know if cherrywood are my only villans in the mean time ive had no car were the laughing stock of our street. The finance company said to me because your dealer has closed down and we suggested him we will jump in but 37 days they want a cheap fix. The cars a death trap i asked them please take the car write the finance off and help me recover my funds if you can. To summerise The inspector wrote in my opinion the car was sold with this problem developed i did some research about cherrywood cars. It was owned by a guy on cowboy builders on the bbc. He use to hustle the vulnerable he was the orignal director then re named the buisness on his girlfriends name. I know im getting some help towards resolving it because its got some finance on it but i feel for those who put their hard earnt money in these guys hands. We all got had some more than others i wish we could get together and talk about taking a joint legal stance on them. When i sent the finance company all the research i did about the owners and said you sent me to these to buy a 7 seater one of my kids isnt well you cant put a price on something god forbid why if the worst was to have happened. They didnt even breath a word of it yet they was sending them customers. I could type loads more but ill stop thereill just end up dragging names in ill save that for the courts when im ready . Mines also been in a bump but its not recorded wings have been changed listen thanks for replying to my review. I hope you find a way to get some money back i hope we all do. we learnt it the hard way but in life we do learn and karma comes bak. god speed all. mikey.
Cherrywood Cars sold me a death trap bmw series 1 with a faulty rear axle differential plus many other faults plus the car had finance on it .The car was towed back by the rac as deemed dangerous to drive I demanded a refund as the car was not fit for the purpose. They told me my money would be refunded in 14 days then I noticed it was readvertised the car and sold on a week later ..3 months on I’m still waiting for my money back and now taking legal action. But with 22 ccjs against this company I have little hope of getting it ! Only wish I had read the negative reviews and not the 5* fakes !! googled the owner and was shocked by what I read he put the business in his wife’s name after being struck off as a director for 5 years and has now managed to set up 2 other companies with similar names cwc LTD and cherrywood cars midlands ltd AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

Cherrywood Cars described the car as good condition found out after 2 weeks it was actually a heap of junk. Tried to contact several times but no answer and now the phone is dead.
