On Friday 28th December I arranged to view a Hyundai i30 at Cherrywood Cars. When I arrived I was surprised to be met by representatives from a finance company who told me that the cars were being repossessed and would be sent to the Manheim car auction in Birmingham. The Cherrywood salesman seemed completely nonplussed and the actual business owner was not in attendance. I examined the i30 which had seized brakes and other faults which would have meant that I wouldn't have bought the car anyway The moral of the story is to insist that any pre-owned car offered for sale must be covered by an HPI or other provider of car history in order that any potential buyer can't suffer any financial loss

dealt with this man brought a car from him engine went bang took him to court. got a ruling against him no money tried the sheriffs they told me he is 64k in debit 22 cci against him. had to get someone to collect car from him lots of trouble with him.

Hi I read your review with interest as I have been unsuccessfully trying to reach the garage by phone and email for the last two weeks. I cannot seem to find any information to show they have actually closed? I bought a car which has lots of issues and when I tried to speak with the garage and then the warranty company I find the garage haven't registered the warranty! Do you have any idea what the current situation is with them Thank you

closed down vacated the site finance co took cars away police not intrested trading standards the same he owes me 5k also he owes 65k to people and 22cc court won't go near him.

My husband and I have been trying to get our money back from this company since April 2018 after they sould us a damaged car. They been ignoring us, we started a process against them adviced to do that by Citizen Advice but nothing. They ignored us, they ignored court and now they are gone. Does anyone have any information how to find them? I houd out on online that they ( Paul and Martine directors of the companies) have registred 3 companies with similar names on the same address. I believe that these people are countinuing this kind of "business" for a while. We have stoped at the point where the court have noticed that at the address given is nothing and if we have any other adress or info we can continue the process, but this makes us angry as we paid to them to get the money and they do nothing. It is like we have to do an investication to find these frauds? There are so many people suffered from them so I believe that someone have to stop this. Can anyone give any info on this?
Cherrywood Cars took my deposit for nothing. I paid 100 via phone to them and got a promise that I can see the car, we agreed the day and time. They failed to provide the car (a Honda Civic) twice! It failed on MOT 2 times, in both times I travelled from a distance of 60 miles to see it. In first case I couldn't see it, in second case it was not in the condition to go with it. They never even bother to notify me not to go for nothing from this distance. Now they don't bother to give back my deposit, didn't even bother to answer to my email and I have to go to the Citizen Advice to try to get it back.

We brought a Qashqai from Cherrywood Cars and put a deposit down. Was told it would have work done and would be ready end of week. After many let downs and broken promises and us having to chase the car progress up ,over 2 weeks later we went to collect the car and were appalled it had been driven across redditch with zero oil in now we are worried, we looked at the car and see it’s got approx 6 marks on the a frame drivers side which only looks like a bat has been taken to the car. I’m appalled a garage that knew I had a young premature baby would try and sell us a car like this. We walked away and thankfully got our deposit back. 1 hour later car back up for sale. Do not buy this car anyone.

In response to your review, which is the same as your husbands - not sure why you have to write 2 reviews, however - The car DID NOT have zero oil in it, I doubt like your husband you are not a qualified mechanic? A bat has NOT been taken to the car.… another absurd statement. Madam, even if you bought a brand spanking new car, it can suddenly develop a fault..... the car you purchased was a 2009 car, with 125,000 miles on the clock!!Put it into perspective, the oil warning light came on, and the car had some bodywork damage, which both you and your husband were aware of when you initially came to view the car!

Firstly I’m not married so your assumption I am is wrong. Secondly I may not be a mechanic however when you have a car serviced they empty the oil as I’m guessing you would be aware of Also not being mechanic but someone with common sense I do know when you top up the oil with a whole oil can and it’s still only just touching the end of the dipstick this means that it was empty to begin with. I appreciate the car did have some bodywork damage when we came to view however the damage on the A frame was not there as it was you that went round with the marker showing us the damage and saying this would all be repaired at the body shop as in your own words you don’t polish a turd before it’s seen. Also your own words we look after women and children. Can I ask how you do that with a damaged A frame and a car that has had no oil in which will result in engine problems. It’s disgusting you would rather be rude on here than call and apologise for what happened. Terrible customer service and i urge anyone thinking of buying a car from yourselves to not bother.
Not a very good experience, at first everything seemed okay with Cherrywood Cars, but once the deal is complete they will ignore you and fail to call you back at all. I part exchanged my car worth £3250 for a car worth £3000 was told I would receive money off them to my bank account within 2-3 days it's now been 2+ weeks and they have sent no money. I’ve been forced to call trading standards regarding the matter as they seem to have no intention of resolving this in a timely manner only delaying the matter further by saying "Mr H will call you back he’s the only person who has the authority to send money" I assume this is "Mr H" the listed director for CHERRYWOOD CARS MIDLANDS LIMITED might be worth a google if you’re going to buy or trade your car in with this company.

Mr Tomlin, as you are aware we have asked you to come and see us regarding the part exchange you gave us to to discuss the battery that was in your car that was the incorrect battery, ie not powerful enough, and also there is a brake malfunction light on your car that you did not declare to us as you purchased the car from us over the phone, and told us your car was perfect apart from a dent. This was not the case, our mistake for trusting you and taking your word for it. We have also spoken to you today ref these points, and you are due to come and discuss these with us tomorrow.
Had a good experience of this garage so far. team are helpful but not pushy and cant wait to get my new car next week after he service and MOT
