Stay away from Cherrywood Cars at all costs. The cars may seem cheap but they are cheap for a reason. I am currently having to take out a claim and report to trading standards. I placed a deposit on a car after I made contact and they gave me a walk around video. when I got to the garage the two biggest faults (up to that point) which was a hole you from which could almost put your hand in on the back bumper and under the valet paper in the driver foot well was a hole in the carpet you could put 2 hands in! so much for very good condition for a 6yr old car. after negotiating a small deduction for the bumper as I missed the carpet as it was hidden I drove the car home after being promised all the service records mot and warranty is sent through electronically within 48hrs. on the way home the diesel particulate filter light came on. I didn't panic and went through what the handbook suggests but it is a genuine fault and needs fixing... funnily enough NOT covered on the warranty. car was advertised as with all his other cars as having a full mot which it wouldn't pass with this warning light on which is easily reset.... funnily enough my car only has 10 months mot not 12 as every car is advertised..... so I report it to the garage on the number they gave me on auto trader. no reply... no call back... I called back and then they said as it had left it's through after sales and warranty... knowing full well it's not covered. 2 weeks down the line... they still refuse to fix it... they make no effort to return several repeated emails and texts and I am still awaiting my service... mot and warranty as promised 2 weeks ago. if you want to chance your arm visit Cherrywood Cars and spin the roulette wheel... oh and they try and get you to leave feedback within 24hrs to gain an extra 3 months warranty... I wonder why the 24hr cap is in place. Avoid these at all costs!!!

Friendly staff, well presented showroom and a good selection of cars for a wide range of budgets. The car I test drove had a fault which was a little concerning but they agreed to fix the problem before sale without quibble, and included a service. I have not picked up the car yet but if the experience is as good as my first impression, then I will be a happy man.

Cherrywood Cars are great people to deal with and not pushy on trying to sell anything to you. They really make sure you feel comfortable while in the show room and nothing is to much trouble.
