Car was delivered quickly, air con didn't work but he said get it looked at and let him know the price, i wasn't concerned as they sorted my mates without an issue. A week later on the motorway when braking from 70 the steering wheel was shaking indicating warped brake discs. I replaced those and had air con sorted, he asked for bank details to send £250 to me to cover it (which was cheap as the brakes were £200) and he hasn't, ignores phone calls and texts. To top it all, 6 weeks in and the gearbox is having issues which he is also ignoring.. Basically pot luck when buying here, if you have an issue or want to use your consumer rights then you're out of luck, it's not going to happen. Save yourself the bother and go somewhere else. Also, check their address out....

I bought a car from them. Was told to call them on a mobile number, and they would meet me. Turns out I was asked to meet them at a completely different garage in the middle of nowhere. They short changed us on the warranty by a month. I called to sort this out and they said they would, but 2 months later, and multiple calls and emails and still nothing. Would advise you to avoid this company if you value your money!!

How this company is still open I do not know?! Absolutely shocking, spoke to a guy named Tony and told him I was on my way to view a car he told me to do a U-turn and fuck off back to where I came from?! I’m so glad we had a lucky escape!

This guy called Toni/Tony is so unprofessional it’s unbelievable. Thank god we didn’t buy the car. We were serious about buying and even wanted to put a deposit down. We had an appointment which we were running late for. We got told over text message to forget it and called us a bunch if messers. When we called back apologising AGAIN Big man Toni told us to F Off. Wow! I rang in to complain about his customer service and I don’t know how he’s in sales, he was so cocky saying how he made a “million quid this year”. He also said you’re lucky your asian and something else which he mumbled and then hung up. This company is a appalling!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

tried ringing both numbers with no answer, so emailed saying i was interested in a car they are advertising, got a phone call within 5mins, did not sound enthusiastic in the slightest for a potential sale, asked for a bit more info on the service history of the car as the advert didn't tell much, said he did not know if the car had its timing belt and water pump changed, asked if the clutch had been serviced he said he would message me the details of when it was serviced, hours went by with no message so i sent another email asking if they have the info and still had nothing, i then decided to check the reviews of this company, safe to say i dodged a bullet, dont bother with this company probably wont be around much longer with their service.

They took our money. We paid deposit £200 pounds, Agreed that we will pay them £40-50 for bringing the car to see it. If we don't buy, we will get our deposit back, leaving them £40-50. Unfortunately, the car was horrible and we did not buy it. BUT, they only paid back £100. Horrible experience, they should be checked by some institutions.

I was in the process of buying a car from this terrible company. I too had a lucky escape. I have never come across how unprofessional and rude this joker Jay is. He verbally sent abusive and swearing emails with intolerable language. Why run a company if you can not even speak and give customer service. I would avoid this company like the plague. God knows what would have happened if i parted with my money. I will personally pay him a visit when I am next up his woods and see how brave this jerk is to say swears to my face.

I hadn't bought a car from them luckily, but was looking to and thank gosh for this site otherwise i wouldn't have known how terrible they were until after purchasing a car. The customer service was appalling. when i first called there was no hello or anything, more just a 'what do you want?'. Explained that i was interested in a car they were selling and we'd moved to whatsapp, sent over some pics and was waiting on a video he was going to send. 6 hours later, and nothing. I then messaged saying i was no longer interested and received the most unprofessional message calling me a dickhead. Stay well away from Chesham Motor Company.
