We are so disappointed to learn that you have had to resort to posting 1-star reviews and negative comments including black mail threats on Dealer Reviews and other review platforms, when we have attempted to address the issues you have been experiencing. We also mutually arranged and booked your car in on Monday 17th March to look into it. Looking into your complaint and in our defence, I can only reflect on the evidence and information that is front me! The fault that you refer to in your feedback was first reported to me on the 10th February 25, just after you had 2 front ALL WEATHER tyres fitted to the front axle of the car which were fitted on the 29th January 25. You subsequently took the car back to the garage who fitted the tyres, who cleared all the codes and issued you with a fault report. I booked your car into Chester Car Supermarket to investigate your complaint and on the 18th of February 25 I carried out a full health check with no fault codes found relating to your complaint that were on the report you gave me. We also carried out 2 road tests of approximately 120 miles in total, with no faults or issues and returned the car back to you. We also carried out live reading on all four-wheel speed sensors with no faults or issues. Please appreciate that when you dropped your car off with me, there was no warning lights or fault codes present as you had the fault codes cleared, we had no codes or faults anywhere with the cars onboard electronic control modules and had nothing to go off to try carry out a diagnosis, making it difficult to diagnose the faults you had experienced. I subsequently researched the codes that you supplied and after thorough investigation, speaking to Tyre Pro’s in Chester and reading various forums, the codes on the fault report may relate to calibration issues. We explained and stressed that your car is fitted with a very complex autonomous braking and cruise control systems and suggested that the issue could be down to incorrect tyres being fitted. We suggested to you that to take this out of the equation and help us to assist with our diagnostics, spending £100’s of unnecessary repairs to fit 2 x new all-weather tyres to the rear axle so all tyres are the same or replace the two front tyres with normal treaded tyres and see how you get on. Info: The faults and fault codes on the report as follows, C10DF00, C10C200, B10E7F0 , 3 x error reading codes of NSF, OSF and 1 x rear wheel speed sensors all relate to the autonomous and adaptive cruise control system that if there is a slight height differences between front and rear axles and heights between the tyre and the wheel arches, this can affect the calibration of these systems and ALL must match. We have tried to sort out this complaint mutually with you, but due to negative feedback, cooperation and distrust, we feel best and have now suggested that you deal direct with your warranty company regarding this moving forward.
