My strong advice is to avoid this company - Chris Waite Car Sales, Blackwood if you're thinking of buying a vehicle! Nick, a director of the company and son of the owner assured me over the phone, that the vehicle I was interested in (VW Caddy, reg YY64 EUD) was in very good condition and no faults. This was of particular importance to me as I was travelling from N. Ireland to see this vehicle. When I arrived (25/06/20) to view the vehicle it appeared clean inside and outside. It was drove out from the garage and oil was noticed on the floor. Upon closer inspection, underneath the vehicle was covered in oil. Obviously alarmed at this and greatly dis-appointed I refused to purchase the vehicle and requested my deposit back which was agreed. Nick the sales director, then stated it was an oil over-spill. Clearly and absolutely incorrect and later confirmed by his mechanic that it was a seal needing replaced. The owner, Chris Waite then arrived to the premises and when I attempted to discuss the issue further he was NOT interested, in fact stating "it was my problem". This business has clearly no regard for it's customers and prepared to tell lies, deceive and say anything to try and get a sale. Don't believe the nonsense that is written on their homepage as it is a complete falsehood in my experience.

We’ve not had the best experience with car sales at some of the larger and better known establishments recently tbh, but having now bought a car from Chris Waite Car Sales, my faith is restored! Sales guys were friendly and helpful but not pushy, they accommodated our request for an RAC check and carried out the remedial work immediately (along with a full years MOT!) Obtained a new memory card for the Satnav as the car didn’t have one, and then to top it off, delivered the car home for me. Absolutely first class!!

Now that's the way I like yo buy cars.. Looked around and no hassle off salesmen at Chris Waite Car Sales. Looked at the car I had seen online. Test driven. Pointed out a couple of minor things that needed doing. Given a fair px on mine. Made my mind up. Shook hands and picked car up a week later. 3 month warranty (most independent only give 1) Jobs all done. Will deffinately buy from here again.Martin the salesman done the deal. Its a family concern buying from Chris. My father bought his cars from Chris now I buy mine and my family now buy their cars off Chris. Good quality vehicles and very helpful sales men to.

I have just recently bought an A1 Audi at Chris Waite car sales garage and I have to say I had such an easier and stress free service, Graham served me and he was amazing ! he really went out of his way, couldn’t have been happier ! I will most certainly be returning ! Thank you guys ! x x

Dont deal with Chris Waite car sales, sold us a car for 4 grand had nothing but issues, the car smelt like a tramp, leaking water from the front end, under powered, no service history, pulling to left. When we seen the car they were trying to sell it with a bald tyre and no breaks so in a nutshell selling a car that was not road worthy. They got that done before we purchased but no sooner than we got it home we found another handful of issues. We have had the car inspected and told its not fit for purpose, it is currently in a ford garage having further tests. Nick Waite is an absolute Joke and so is the sale person Martin. Be warned keep away dont waste your money.

Called about a specific car in the morning, told the garage that I would be driving over an hour to view, was told that the car was a lovely little car and that everything was in order. When I arrived the salesman couldn't open the car remotely as both car keys were literally in pieces, the bodywork had some rust which had been very poorly touched up with paint, the car smelt damp and when started an "airbag fault" message came up, in plain terms the car was an absolute pig and because of the salesman totally miss representing the cr on the phone I wasted over 2 hours of time and almost half a tank of fuel. This is the sort of place that gives all used car garages a bad name.
