ought a car from Cinch that was delivered with damage not shown or highlighted on the listing. Three months on and after countless emails, agreeing to cover the repair after a quote given without seeing the car. Once the car had actually been seen by the repairer and the cost increased Cinch have decided that the some of the damage falls within their standard and as such would not cover the extra cost of the repairs! Beware buying from Cinch, they own multiple companies that include motor auction sites. Some the cars obviously move in and out so rapidly they are not checked properly. When something goes wrong you will having nothing but faff when dealing with them!!! Complaint has been referred to the Motor Ombudsman.

AVOID 3 weeks ago- Car not delivered, despite having an update saying it was 'on route' as a mechanical issue arrived during delivery. I had to chase them every day after this for an update as no one bothered getting in touch. 2 weeks later they advise it is not fixable within a realistic timeframe and recommend I cancel. Cinch were not willing to exchange the car for another, as the same make and model are now higher in cost on their website, and would rather I suffered the financial implications of them selling a unroadworthy car, than them matching the costs to rectify their own mistakes. To change the car, they expected me to allow another hard credit check to be done on my file, to take out another credit agreement. I have just read through 15 reviews on Trustpilot, all detailing the fact they have been sold cars that are not mechanically sound, and were not checked properly before placing for sale. These are just the reviews dated October 2023, so I dread to think how far back this goes! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM They do not care about customer service, they do not check their cars to an appropriate standards before selling, and will do absolutely nothing to resolve the issues they have made.

These are con artist, and know exactly what they are doing to people!! selling faulty vehicles to customers, pin pointing blame/ faults with the car as fair wear and tear from the customer/delivery, selling cars with 70-80% worn tyres, and window wipers….lots or different customers and reviews with the same/similar issues with brought vehicles from cinch…electrical faults…warning lights…engine management light….worn clutches….worn brake pads & disc they are an extremely dangerous company and are cunning, they should not be allow to operate , but cinch I believe the government is responsible for it has it hands in at tax payers expense tv advertising for such a shameful & dangerous car dealer? this is why this is allowed to continue. If I could give -100 star review I would Please everyone avoid there and go elsewhere you will be involved in a battle with them as they know exactly what game they are playing, this is written all over trust-pilot also 1* I regret not seeing the reviews before I involved in this con artist car dealers. My complaint is regarding the treatment of myself as a returning customer to yourselves after first getting a car before 'Cinch' became what they are today. I first ordered my Mini Cooper Hatchback on the 5th August 2023 as I was after a faff free experience due to my job making it hard for me to go out to dealerships, and as well I had already had a car from Cinch. I ordered this for the following Saturday (12th) - to be delivered between 8AM and 10AM due to this being a period I was not travelling with work and I would be home in order to accept my vehicle. After a week and me arranging my work travels - I was ready for delivery of my car and received a text at 06:30 saying my driver was on route. I then received a phone call at 08:30 - saying that my car would not be delivered and that they would update me with a date - only being told the seal on the light was not working. Why did I receive a text confirming delivery if the car was not on route - I even got a tracker link? This is not customer service at all! I then called back on the Saturday after being on hold for 40 minutes - and then gave up as I had WORK to do. In addition to this I called a further 5/6 times over the course of the week and told the gentleman I spoke to to email as I work at the airport and am always away and with no phone signal. I was left in the dark for days and was told that a simple light fix would take 2 weeks which made me question how much you actually were pushing this through. Quality checks: I got told my car had the final checks which was not true as the final checks are the FINAL before the driver leaves with my vehicle - so this is another misleading check you are doing and lying to your customers paying a premiums for a faff free experience. I wanted the car to be delivered this week at the earliest Monday/Tuesday as I would be at home but no I had to rearrange my work in order to be home at again a time what suits you. So 2 weeks later I have my car and will be watching it like a hawk for any issues which occur. So overall - I would not trust CINCH as they clearly do not do final checks of the car as otherwise this would not have happened, as well as being hung up on. I would not used CINCH again and would advise others not too!
Faulty car sold as perfect, Cinch not taking responsibility for the misconduct. Car does not have AC, it was sold as having it, now they stopped responding

Having been in contact with them recently, i can say beyond a doubt that their customer service is terrible. They also manipulate review sites, and will flag any negative one they come across. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is likely to be one of many reviews that you have read about Clinch however I can't urge you strongly enough to pay attention to the negative ones. My experience with Clinch has been beyond terrible, and frankly I can't face typing out again every failure and fault that has happened so far - suffice to say, my car, which was delivered extremely late, is still not working properly and I have no idea if/when it will be fixed. If you have any plans to buy a new car (and you would like one that works), I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere. PS: I'm sure this post will be followed by some banal response from a customer service person at Clinch - please don't be fooled into thinking that these replies actually result in an form of resolution.

The Cinch customer service is appalling. I was sold a car with brand new brakes, but they arrived grinding and on inspection the discs are badly corroded and need replacing. Cinch won’t touch it and keep fobbing me off. There is also a lot of damage to the paintwork that wasn’t as advertised. Cinch want a quick turnaround and will leave you high and dry if there’s any problems so beware!

Car purchased online approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago. Due to be received today 15th Feb 23. Online cinch journey confirms in-depth checks carried out, car all ready, next notification said car on way to us. Text received to personal mobile advising name of driver bringing car to us. 20 mins before receipt of car call received from customer services team advising that the car is not arriving!! Car door lock not working and water ingress found in car. Time taken off work to receive this vehicle by us, we taxed and insured the vehicle expecting its arrival. No one able to give a definitive date the car would be delivered however in the meantime deposit paid and we as the buyer are out of pocket. Update will be given on social media and reviews trust pilot as it progresses. Buyer be very aware our vehicle wasn’t put through checks, obviously as these issues would of been found before and not on the day of delivery and the car hasn’t even been delivered to us! Not a cheap car either! Customer service staff I feel sorry for! That’s when you can get through on the phone! If this is not fixed urgently Cinch will have failed in its promises and the car can stay put with them!
We paid just under £19000 in full for a car that should have been delivered on 7 January. As it stands we have bought car tax and insurance but have no car and they have our money.. Cinch promise call backs with a delivery date but never call back, the complaints team are just the same. If you’re thinking of buying from Cinch don’t, go to your local dealer it will save you the worry and hassle which we are experiencing
