In May i visited City cars in Enfield and I am a very satisfied customer! I would very highly recommend them! The sales team were really helpful and the car is super, in really good condition and was very clean. It was excellent value for money and I have no complaints at all. Very happy.

We purchased a Kia Sorento back in September 2015. End of November, the vehicle started to cut out on the motorway (very dangerous) and was juddering when stearing. Contacted City Cars, took vehicle to them for investigation (had a three month warranty, which was about to run out, but just in date) - found out it was the transfer box, two injectors and a rear diff, which I was told all sorted (had vehicle for three weeks) No documentation was given to prove what work was carried out (very cagey). The vehicle was ok until a few weeks ago (end of May) - I contacted City Cars to ask for documentation of proof so I could see if the work was still in warranty and if not, to pass this on the the mechanic I was going to use - I was told that the injectors were bought second hand off of Ebay (only a thirty day guarantee) and was only 'TOLD' what was done (I requested documentation again so that if we ever did sell the vehicle on, I had this to prove what work was done). I was told there was nothing they could do and if I did sell the vehicle on to get the new buyer to ring them and they would vouch for the work (yeah right)! On Thursday 9th June at 1610 pm, we were travelling to London for an 80th Birthday celebration and the vehicle 'cut ' out again! We pulled over and managed to get it started, only for it to cut out on us yet again! We got the vehicle started (again) and was waiting for the road to be clear so we could pull out (with hazard lights on) and a fully loaded fourty-foot lorry didnt see us and side swiped the drivers side, injuring my self and writing the vehicle off (the Police said we were lucky to be alive). I contacted City Cars this morning (10th June) and spoke to Amhed (who Iin my opinion was very arrogant) and told him that we had had a serious accident and were lucky to be alive, all through them not making sure the work that was carried out up to a safe standard! I have contacted The Trading Standards and Consumer Ombudsman and I am also going to ring VOSA! They should not be allowed to sell vehicles that have faults of this nature! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALER IF YOU WANT MY OPINION!
Beware of and avoid City Cars Enfield at any cost, it'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make in your life! I visited this dealer today to test drive a Toyota Auris after arranging a viewing over the phone. I expected the car to be ready but upon arrival, I had to wait for a while for the car to be pulled out of the showroom. After test driving the car, I was asked to leave a £100 deposit to keep the car aside, which I was reassured by the agent was refundable; in case I did not purchase the vehicle (this was at the presence of the owner/manager "Ahmed"). However, as soon as the deposit was paid, the agent advised me that my money was not refundable if I had simply changed my mind and I would only be refunded if there was a fault with the car or if the finance company had not approved my finance! So, I immediately demanded a refund as this was a blatant trick to exert pressure to purchase the car, which was priced at £7,495. The manager/owner then started becoming incredibly rude towards me stating that the car was going to be put aside for me and that I clearly could not afford such car because I was going to finance the car. Being insulted by this remark, I stated that I felt tricked by their advice and no longer wished to buy the car. I insisted on the refund and reminded him that whether it was paid for by finance or cash-down, he was not going to get £7,495 from me after his poor level of service. To my shock and surprise, I was then asked me to leave the showroom and my refund request was not issued. This dealer is by far the worst one I had ever encountered and I honestly can not emphasise enough on why potential buyers should avoid using their service! Fortunately, I have been reassured by my bank that I have grounds to dispute the transaction and my money is likely to be refunded. I would NOT recommend this dealer to my worst enemy.

Bought a Audi A3, within 2 days the car had problems.. They were willing to fix the problem but claimed on my warranty. the drive shaft fell out the bottom of the car while I was driving and it had to be recovered to the mechanics city cars use. The gear box had to be replaced and they charged the warranty company £900 for a second hand gear box and labour but the one they put in doesn't work.. Gears don't change smoothly and when put in reverse it won't reverse. Once I paid for the car I asked for it to be cleaned and it wasn't it was handed to me covered in mud and dirty inside. The back head rest is missing and I was promised a new one.. Still waiting! They said I should be great full that they have even bothered with the car. They sold me a car that was dangerous to drive my children around in. This was the most time consuming and inconvenienced experience in buying a car I've ever had. I do not recommend after all the hassle I have had to go through. The manager is very rude and abrupt, other staff were however very nice.

I do not see the mentioned the battery issued you first suffered from during the first 2 weeks where we had collected your vehicle from your property and replaced the battery for £100 only to find that you added a replica Bluetooth unit to your car which resulted in power drain!!! is n't that good customer service!!! The vehicle in question is Audi A3 2004 diesel DSG with 137k miles. unfortunately, after 3 weeks the nearside driveshaft had simply broke of the gearbox causing damage to the gearbox casing. City Cars had taken full responsibility once we became aware of the fault and even a recovery truck had arranged to collect your vehicle from North Finchley within 10 mins at no extra cost to you. We then supplied and fitted a new driveshaft and used gearbox to the vehicle and we even delivered the car back to your house. If you still having issues with your vehicle then do not hesitate to contact us about it and will make sure all faults will be rectified to the highest standards, instead of leaving nonconstructive feedback.
Based on what I know of City Cars, they sell faulty cars, cares nothing for the customer, rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Wont repair a faulty car. AVOID!!!

I am not sure how yo became aware of this. If you had purchased or test driven a car from us then please confirm your experience with the car details.
Unhelpful, unwelcoming and dismissive. We were treated like they were doing us a favour, and the taken to see a car other than the one we asked to see. A complete waste of a journey. Don't bother.

The cars you requested to see were a seat abiza and a fiat 500, nor myself or the staff recall you mentioning anything about a ford. At the time of the viewing you had a list of over 10 cars to see, however when you were unable to see all the cars you had in mind because some of the cars were stored at a different storage facility and there was no prior notice that you wanted to see those cars. Once we mentioned this to you, you became abusive and we do not co-opporate with abusive behaviour against our staff members. For anyone doubting this you are welcome to see the CCTV footage confirming this. We are proud to say that we are committed to deliver excellent customer service, however, we have a 0 tolerance policy with customers who abuse the staff.
Waste of a journey. Not welcoming, not interested, quite happy to dismiss my genuine interest in buying. My wife and I found you rude and it's probably my worst experience in looking for a new car. Very little knowledge of part exchange values as well. I'm surprised you are in business.

High value cars e.g. bentleys Aston Martins ect. can only be test driven with prior notice to arrange all the necessary insurance covers for security purposes. Hence, you were not given a test drive because you have simply arrived to our showroom without prior notice as you were seeing cars in the area.
Well presented car dealership with wide range of cars for sale. Their prices very good too. I bought a Mercedes C class c180 from City Cars in Enfield and it was a good experience.
As first time buyers City Cars Enfield were very accommodating, extremely helpful, explained everything about the car and the warranty. A very positive experience and one I would recommend to other people who maybe thinking about buying a car from here.

Avoid this so called dealer like the plague. I bought a BMW that cost me another £2000 to put right in 4 months from purchase. The cover they give is not worth the paper it is written on you may as well by anywhere apart from here they should be closed down selling cars not fit for purpose. If I was you I wouldn't believe a word that City Cars in Enfield tell you.
