£100K vehicle clearly available online , paid the deposit as requested to reserve, 2 days later I was informed that they had taken a deposit from another customer on the same vehicle, but they would try to find me another one, a week later the original vehicle is still listed for sale, to be fair they sent me data on an alternative but the spec was totally different and not acceptable. Sorry to say a bad experience from start to finish.

Bought a Nissan qashqai in June 2022 but after two months I had problems with the drive shafts,because I live far from Peterborough I too the car to my mechanic in London to replace both drive shafts.
I contacted City motors and they did reimburse the money that I spent to fix the fault.
I definitely recommend them.

Bought a car and within the first 4 months are the below issues:
Windscreen washer sensor
Fuel filter
Rear caliper replacement
Rear brake pads
2 new tyres
New track arm
New drop link
Corroded sub frame
Rotten brake pipe
Perished brake hose
Air con doesn't work
New exhaust hanger
All the owner does is argue with you and said what do you expect from an old car, well when you spend thousands on a car you expect it to be right regardless of age. Warranty is a joke and do hard to deal with. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE

The rear break pads and offisde caliper were changed under the warranty for you so you were not left out of pocket for this and you was reimbursed with this work. We made it clear at point of sale that the only service that we had carried out on the vehicle was an interim oil service, so if your fuel filter needed changing then that would be a serviceable item. At no point over the 4 months have you informed us regarding anything to do with the AC gas which once again would have been reimbursed to you if that was the case. Regarding your most recent issue richard we have kindly asked you to book the vehicle in with us so we can have a look at the issue and contact the warranty company on your behalf. We believe the issue you have as informed by yourself is a hole in a pipe which has developed as a result of rust. This would be something which of course has developed over time as the vehicle is 9 years old, but once again we did say we was happy to have a look at the vehicle for you.

I bought my BMW just over 3 months ago and the aux port was broke and the cigarette lighter socket, then had a problem with the ABS light coming on and now car has been in garage 3 weeks. They are slow to reply and then when you can’t reply cos you are at work you get the whole I tried to call you card! Not Impressed, I would steer clear of this garage as they are the worst I’ve ever bought from, I ordered parts and got next day. They are very slow and not much help! Never again ! I will look closer to home next time I look for a car as is not worth the hassle !

Brought a Mercedes from Peterborough City Motors. nice clean car, had no issues so far.
last time i brought a car from another dealership in fengate, i wasn't so impressed.
despite seeing all the reviews online had me thinking , but you never know until you go see for your self. will use again

Bought a car from Peterborough City Motors...had it a few days and have numerous faults some major ones....they let me drive away with a baby in a faulty car!
Run for the hills you would be better off buying a car from the scrap yard!!!!

I purchased a car from city motors 38 days ago, I was told it needed a minor service and was given oil and a filter to take away and do myself, I letter found out the car was slightly overdue a major service which would have made me not purchase the car unless it was done. Since then the car has developed a thrust bearing fault which should be covered in their warranty they gave me but apparently I have to wait till the car is undrivable before they will do anything about it so in my opinion it's not worth the paper it's written on as I would hen be car less and have to pay to get the car transported to the garage for repair. Please avoid

Bought a car from this dealer volvo everything was great till I got home after driving 20 miles the gearbox was kicking and missing gears called the dealer and he asked for it back for full refund. Dealer wouldn't know about gearbox problems on most volvo automatics. But because of no guibble refund and very polite and friendly as well as helpful I recommend this dealership.
