Do not buy from this crook! If there was an option to leave zero stars I would. Simon comes across nice as pie until there is an issue with your van. Then he shows his true colours. He makes Dell Boy look honest. My van had a misfire that became apparent 10 days after purchase. When I got the van back to the citywide for them to check it over under the warranty I was told it wasn’t economical to repair. So I rejected it and asked for a refund. Simon refused to refund me and told me to take it up with my finance provider. 5 months later I’ve finally got my money back but my once thriving business has gone down the pan in the meantime due to not having my van and specialist cleaning equipment (that was fitted/wired to my van.) Simon couldn’t care less about the predicament he put me in. He’s the stereotypical used car salesman. I’d sooner buy a van off Harry Wormwood (the dad from Matilda) than buy one off Citywide! He will probably try and blag his way out of looking like a total rip off merchant in his reply to this review but please PLEASE don’t be fooled. I advise anyone and everyone to give Citywide a wide berth. Save yourself the financial and mental strain. I wouldn’t with the past 5 months on my worst enemy.

100000000% agree with you! We weren't so lucky with getting our money back though. Got our family tourneo from there and it was straight into the garage after a month with electrical faults. Then the belt went and destroyed the engine within a couple of months even though we hadn't even added a thousand miles to it! it was under warranty but they wouldn't honour it. £8500 later to give it a whole new engine rebuild, then the coolant has gone as there is a leak, and more electrical faults. Leaking roof too and air conditioner had to be fixed at our cost as only throws out hot air! They are cowboys. we are massively out of pocket and our van has spent more time in the garage than out. Hate them for what our family has had to go through. After spending £17000 to buy it then having to fork out £8500 to add a new engine!?! wth! disgraceful company. don't forget to add on the additional costs of AA Breakdown after we were left stranded on the busy A road with twins babies and 3 other children on the embankment in the rain!!
paid 14000 for a van picked it up it had whining diff then i had to make 400 pounds contribution to repair it stay well away

Sounds familiar but sadly we had to pay over £8500 to fix ours after the belt went and destroyed the engine after a couple of months and not even 1000 miles. they wouldn't honour the warranty. Awful company!!
We put a deposit on a van after being assured by the director all faults pointed out would be rectified and also being advised the type of van was longer than the standard for that make ( we need the room for my daughters wheelchair). My husband telephoned Simon a couple of days later just to check on a few things to be told the minor works would not be carried out as not listed on his sheet. Before my husband could respond he also stated he had plenty of others interested and if we didn’t like what he was saying then he’ll just give us back the deposit. My husband politely advised that as long as the major work had been carried out we would like to continue with the purchase. I telephoned the director a couple of days later to check upon progress and exact length of van and was advised to call Simon as he would know. I telephoned Simon and asked the question which for some reason angered him and his response was ‘ I know where this is going, why do you need to know?’ He then said exactly the same to myself as he had to my husband in that he had plenty of people interested in the van and he’ll just give us the deposit back. I stayed calm although at this point I was shaking. I asked Simon why he felt the need to speak so rudely and required measurements so that we could plan how to fit items in which would have included the wheelchair. He continued to belittle and bully me with his misogynistic tone until I could take no more so told him to stick the van where the sun don’t shine. All I required was an answer to my query, not an interrogation as to why I required that information. Regardless of the reason being for a vulnerable disabled person to have space for a wheelchair, Simon should be mindful that interrogating people is unacceptable. Shame on you Simon. I now need to take this to the motorombudsman and make a formal complaint

Easily the rudest man we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with, even made my calm collected mother loose her temper! - I was asked by citywide vans to leave any mention of my disability out of any reviews, but the fact they tried to misell a van not fit for my disabled needs, does actually need mentioning! I felt discriminated against as the attitude Simon displayed when asked a simple question, the answer to which was directly related to my needs, was disgusting. Long story short - I feel that you can't believe any agreements regarding work to be done and that you also need to fact check anything said about a vehicle before you put a deposit down If you just want to hand them money and drive off, then you will be fine, but woe betied you if you ask a question or attempt to confirm any thing.
I am completely satisfied with the purchased van, which is recommended by the dealer without having a high price. It does not have a high consumption of diesel, everything works. I started a new job without any problem. Recommend citywide van sales

Citywide Van Sales are very rude to me, very unhelpful and after sales communication is rubbish. If you buy from them just keep your fingers crossed that you don't have to speak to them afterwards and experience the other side of them. I was they didn't like my tone because I objected to them not responding to numerous emails I had sent.

Couldnt agree more. These people sold me a van that i was told and had agreed in writing would be fixed and ready, when they had taken my money all i got was no response and when they finally did, i had nothing but excuses, arguments and sarcasm. They should be banned from trading The owner Mr L in particular.
Bought van from Citywide Van Sales, load of crap 5.5 grand wasted total nightmare ,stay away.
We bought a pick up from Citywide Van Centre for it to break down they took it so say fixed it and broke down again refusing refund it’s been off road for 19 days looks like have to go to court to get money back. Broken promises stay away.
