I believe this is our 4th or 5th car from Clarion's, and each time we have been we have received 5 star service! The team there are like no other, the customer really is their first priority, they have taken really good car of us, each time we have visited. The Rexton is a cracking little truck, and is as good as I imagined it would be. I would not have any hesitations in recommend Clarion Cars to others, me and my wife always leave with a big smile on our faces!

The Rexton looks and drives like a dream, I really can't fault it one bit! It was definitely worth the investment, and has been exceeding the standards that I had set out for the truck. The Clarion team has been excellent, right from the first phone call up until the handover of the car, they are a superb team, and have definitely earnt my trust!

I absolutely love my Ssangyong,, I can't point out one thing that I do not like about it, everything is exactly how I wanted, and it is such a lovely car to drive. The team were so brilliant from beginning to end, the sale was so simple and easy, nothing was over complicated, and it didn't take long at all to finalise the sale! Without a doubt, I would happily recommend Clarion Cars, and would happily return again!

Excellent service provided by Clarion Cars, from beginning to end they provided first class service. The Rexton that I purchased has been a dream to drive, I absolutely love it! It is such a lovely truck, I am so pleased with how things unfolded, and would recommend anyone to use Clarion Cars, if you are after a Ssangyong!

Looking for new pickup for my forestry business due to 11 year old truck and need for Euro 6 vehicle and potential emission zone changes and huge lead times on other few brands left in UK market. Also warned of big dealerships local to me from other businesses I know. Thought I'd try a smaller local businesses although an hour drive for me but know Worthing well. Wanted a manual pickup and probably not easiest customer due to dislike of change and technology!!! Tom was most helpful with lots of information on models in stock but I was keen to drive manual model as luck had it a pristine exceedingly low mileage truck came in so got to try it and buy it as like new No hard sell throughout everything that was outlined for its pre sale prep done. Only had truck couple of days but feel highly confident with purchase. Thanks Tom and team at Clarion for your excellent standard of help and preparation of vehicle I'm sure a few customers will be coming your way when they see my truck from other businesses I know

Firstly had a Mitsubishi fxx before it wipes the floor with it in terms of comfort drive suspension the seats could of been elec movement but really lovely the man you want is Tom hes really kind The whole experience was done in 1month from phoning Tom in clarrions worthing and receiving the keys absolutely 10 star service .Thankyou Tom the car is absolutely 💯 what I needed x

Beware of their service department, they claim to be expert on the VW range of cars, Not true. They failed to find a very simple issue with my car, but claimed to have fixed it and charged me. I accept that all businesses occasionally get things it wrong. A commonly held belief is that the measure of a good business is how they respond when a problem arises. Clarion cars failed to live up to this standard. When I got home from picking up my car, I rang and spoke to the service desk, the guy I spoke to was disinterested and abrasive. I rang back the next day and spoke to the same person, after doing my own research online and speaking to the manufacturer directly. He argued it was my fault for not being clear as to what the issue was with my car, even though he had clearly written the issue on the worksheet, which I pointed out. He then became aggressive and rude, telling me on three different occasions to shut up, “so he could get a word in edgeways “all he would say is the charge was justified because they had spent time looking at the car! He finished the conversation by saying he was not going to discuss it anymore, I would have to speak to the Garage Principle, who was on maternity leave and he had no idea when he would return to work.

Thanks for taking the time to review us Desmond. For the benefit of our current and future customers, I hope you won't mind me detailing a more complete account of our transaction. You originally telephoned our service department outlining that your fog lights were not operating correctly on your late model Skoda Yeti and that you wanted us to check the lighting system. Our technicians diligently carried out a diagnostic inspection of your lighting system and found no fault with the Foglight system but did discover a damaged connector on the nearside headlamp which, as it shares the circuit with the fog lights, decided could be causing an intermittent for future fault, hence we replaced it. On collection of your car, we explained the work we had done in detail. You then described the symptoms of the 'fault' further and it was discovered that in actual fact the operation of the cornering driving lamp system was to 'blame' for the fog lamps not operating in the way you expected. Upon learning this, you told us you were not happy paying the bill as we hadn't 'done anything'. Our service manager Mark did his best to explain again the work we had carried out due to the fault with the lighting system that we had found, but the conversation became heated and difficult even though we provided evidence of the damaged connector. You telephoned Mark again the following day asking for the cost to be refunded. Mark advised he would need to speak with myself (Tom Ogden, Dealer Principal) but I was unavailable due to paternity leave. Upon my return I called you forthwith and agreed to return half the cost of the repair as a goodwill gesture for the breakdown in relationship, a result that you were happy with during the call. Despite this, this review suggests you are still not happy, please contact me directly with any further issues you still have pending, and I'll do my best to remedy the situation. It's your right as a consumer to review our services, however, leaving out key information challenges your credibility as a reviewer and does little to inform future customers correctly. We wish you all the best and look forward to hearing from you.

Bought a used car which has turned out to have lots of problems, but Clarion Cars won't fix anything even though it was still within warranty, avoid these dodgy dealers at all costs

Hi, thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry your car has developed faults which aren't covered under warranty, however we make very clear what is covered at the point of sale, and even advertise it on our (website), Sadly we can't change what is covered after you collect the vehicle. We carefully explained what our PDI covers, and that if any component is worn above 75% (from new spec) or is faulty then it will be replaced before your collection. As you state, the previous MOT's did indeed state that the shock absorbers were worn. However upon our PDI inspection, only the offside unit was worn above 75%, which we replaced before your collection. We also replaced a tire, battery and lower suspension arm as part of our PDI promise. The compressor, glow plugs and brake pipes showed no faults/requirement for replacement at the point of sale, nor have we been given the opportunity to inspect the items and verify your claims. Furthermore, as the faults you claim have occurred 4 months after you took delivery, this only serves to prove these faults were not present at the point of sale. Our service manager called and texted you on the 16/10 to let you know that unfortunately we couldn't cover any of your issues, (if present when inspected) but offered to quote for the work to be done. We didn't hear back from you. It's always disappointing when a used car develops faults, but we can not be held responsible when we are following the contract we both agreed on to the letter. Posting reviews of our service is your right, however you are clearly leaving out key points in an attempt to smear us, this simply brings your credibility as reviewer into dispute, now and in the future. Hopefully you will agree that this full and complete account of our transaction is more beneficial for other prospective customers.
