All of the staff at Clarks Cars were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased a Peugeot 208 from Clarks Cars and I have not had any bother with it up to now. It was in perfect condition when I received it and it was a really good price. I would happily recommend this dealership.

I purchased a Citroen from Clarks cars in June. The car is perfect, I have had no issues with it at all. The car was really clean and just as described and I the dealers were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

I don't usually write on-line reviews, but was so impressed by the service we received at Clarks Cars that I wanted to recommend them strongly to anyone else. We wanted to buy a used car from a family firm because we know how much a good reputation usually means more to them than some of the big car dealerships. Clarks Cars were exemplary and obviously get a lot of repeat customers. Dan and Lee were extremely helpful, dealing with all our questions patiently and never pushing a sale on us at all. Honest and courteous, they were a pleasure to do business with. We're delighted with the car that we've bought from them and would strongly recommend anyone make use of them.
I have recently purchased a Nissan Qashqai from Clarks cars and can highly recommend them, I have a background in the automotive industry and have known plenty of cowboy outfits but Clarks are certainly anything but,they don't put profit before professional service and value. I will certainly be recommending them and returning next time I want to upgrade.
Mr Clark (i think his name was Dan) was great he was a true gentleman. When I got there the car was spotless, all the paperwork was ready and the transaction was nice and smooth. It was a great service all round. What a great garage., very helpful, and thoughtful. they also gave the car a full service . We got a full years mot . very pleased, we would highly recommend them. had the car for a month now and seems ok.

Not only did we get a good price but they also gave the car a full service including cam belt which the majority of garages wouldn't waste there profits. We even got a full years mot as anything under 6 months get a new mot. So pleased, we would highly recommend them.

I had nothing but trouble from the Dan the owner of Clarks Cars over the car that he sold me. The engine management light kept coming on, the car was really sluggish.... Had a struggle to get my money back...... DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.

If this was true I would not bother to reply but I'm afraid it's patently untrue. The customer returned with a very intermittent and minor issue. We lent her a car while we set about the difficult task of finding a low-lying electronic issue. We thought we had tackled the problem and gave the customer back the car. The engine management light came back on after a few days and the customer insisted on having her money back. We did this without argument and also returned the customer's part-exchange. And there lies the problem: the customer wanted a full cash refund of the purchase price even though the original deal included a part-exchange. I remained courteous and even-tempered throughout, which cannot be said of the customer! It's disappointing that she feels aggrieved but my conscience is completely clear, I did everything asked of me and more.
Not much to say other than the car they sold me is fantastic and the service from Dan was top notch from beginning to end. They get a strong recommendation from me.
