4 days prior to purchasing a car from Lee Clark, I asked if the aircon was working. He said yes and has had new gas. I then paid a £200 deposit for the car to be delivered. It was delivered 2 days later. The next day I drove the car in scorching heat and realised not only the aircon was not working, the car did not have an aircon unit. I texted Lee Clark to say the aircon was not working. He did not reply for 2 days. After a reminder text, he finally replied to say the car was a basic spec and there is no aircon fitted. So when asked prior to purchase if the aircon was working in which he replied "yes and has had new gas", he was deliberately, intentionally and outwardly deceiving the me, the buyer. When I told him the car was not as described and that it was well within my rights to a full refund within 30 days under Consumer Protection, he told me never to contact him again. Lee Clark is a dishonest scumbag who gives car dealers a bad name. He has traded under Clarks Premier Ltd, Luvcar.Uk Ltd and several other companies, all of which are pending strike off from Companies House. I have lodged a police report and with Trading Standards so no one will have to go through what I did with this useless piece of shit. You will reap what you sow, Lee Clark!!
I left a review in April 18. And have just won the Court case against Clarks Premier Cars, now T/a Luv Cars, Peterborough. Over the Warranty he issued and then cancelled. In my opinion customers should be aware of their consumer rights, have confirmation of the warranty from the company providing the warranty cover and Be very careful !!!!

He hasn't paid the Warranty I bought on the car he has been very unhelpful I can't get in contact I've tried all four of his numbers he's now changed his business name and I am out of pocket with no warranty. Don't go to Clarks Premier Family Car Centre.

I bought a 4x4 from Clarks recently, and feel the service tendered, and the after-sales are top drawer. I was chuffed to be able to compare two cars on test drives, back to back, to make a decision. Also, there was no pressure - being left to my own devices to look around the cars. I had a minor niggle with the car (easy fix), which they resolved instantly for me. They care about their customers, and have been superb throughout. From a welcomed coffee, through to the repair, all is very well here. My specific criteria was met, both the vehicle itself, and the dealer. Hayley and Ryan very very helpful throughout. All the paperwork was done online on my behalf, which I was very grateful for. I very tech savvy, but it's part of the service here, which is nice. I recommend Clarks without hesitation...

Man in a little porta cabin who likes to shout down the phone at Clarke's premier family car centre. So. Love the Discovery but customer service is not high on his list of qualities. We bought the D4 with 1 key, the agreement was a second key would be supplied and coded to the car for £100 which I paid, we collected the car but the 2nd key had not been coded, Lee said it has to be done at a Landrover dealer because the man round the corner that tried couldn't do it, so if we took it and had it done he would pay for it, so i took the car to Marshals Landrover who said it would need a KVM module in order to code the new key, apparently this is a safety feature to only allow 3 keys to be coded to the car, cost of this £400 not including the key as we already had that. Consequently Lee refused to pay saying it didn't need a KVM and he knows better than the 3 Landrover dealers I have spoken to. Well Lee you don't know better and it may have worked on older vehicles but from 2010 the KVM was phased in and my D4 needs a new one to code this key you said you would provide. You went back on your word Lee. I am now booked into an independent Landrover specialist to have the KVM replaced and key coded at a cost to me of £400. Thank you for your contribution of £125 towards this as that is the price you think it should cost because your man around the corner said so even though he couldn't do it, again you know best and oh what was your opinion of main Landrover dealers and their mechanics, quote" greasy little youths that haven't got a clue and there computers are outdated too" bet they will still be trading long after you've gone into liquidation.
i am so disappointed with them have been talking to them about car I was very interested in agreed .and conditions. I was the first to see advertised and was told after the deal the car would not be sold without me being given fist refusal as car was going into bodyshop for slight paintwork, was told when done video of car would be emailed to me,did not happen and they sold the car. very very disappointed after reading the reviews of this dealership and waiting 4 days for email and nothing feel so LET DOWN

we find this a little odd because we did actually sell you the vehicle, we merely at the time did not want you to make a long journey as we had already had keen interest in this vehicle. this customer has actually left a 5 star positive review on auto trader after completing the purchase..

We are very sorry that you felt we had let you down. when we first spoke about the car i made you aware of some paint that needed to be done and the the car would not be ready for a few days. we agreed a price at which you wanted to pay for the car once it was ready and this also included delivery to cornwall at this point we asked for a deposit to secure the vehicle prior to us delivering the car to yourself. a deposit was not paid to hold the car and we did at this point explain that the car is for sale on the open market but would be removed once we had received a deposit. sadly for the person who was interested in the vehicle lost out to another buyer as he was not willing to put a holding deposit on the car. it is never our intention as a small family business to make a customer feel that they have been poorly treated but sadly in the motor industry a car is not sold until it is paid for and therefore on this occasion some else came in and bought the car instead..
I have just bought a POLO from Clarks Premier. They have been brilliant. There was a very minor issue with the car but they resolved it immediately. The car was lovely and clean and just as described and It has been fine since the repair... no problems what so ever. My sister has also just bought a car from here under my recommendation and she's really happy a swell!
