After buying my car from Cleckheaton Motor Sales I had to return it three times in two weeks due to the car being faulty. The company never answer their phone to offer help leaving me stuck with a poor car. Do not use this company as their car descriptions are a lie.

When I got the car home on the day of purchase (40miles away, which they knew) I discovered the engine oil was empty!! Which makes me wonder do they even check their cars over at all before selling them? Had the car for 2 weeks and it broke down. Have had to spend £200 on repairs to get it going again. Garage didn’t want to know, all I got from them was “not covered by warranty” I’m expecting other things will also start to go wrong. I’ve lost faith in Cleckheaton Car Sales and am very disappointed

Car broke down within a few weeks. Awful customer service - I was told it is classed as wear and tear, they will not take responsibility or give refund, and still waiting for a call back from the manager. Will be taking legal action against Cleckheaton Motor Sales. STAY AWAY, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!

Customer service at Cleckheaton Motor Sales is appalling. I bought a car on sunday for my son. (Low mileage good condition drives as good as the day it left the factory). or so it said in the advert. The engine management light came on on the way home and the engine lost all power. We waited 10 minutes and restarted the engine and managed to get home ok. 2 hours later the car would'nt start and warning lights were flashing. After several attempts to speak to someone at Cleckheaton Motor Sales I was finally told " You'll have to bring it back to us buddy" I explained that the car would'nt start and was told we would have to return it on a low loader. I suggested that we get a local garage to have a quick look at their expense and was told "These are cheap cars buddy you''ll have to sort it yourself" he then hung up.It states on the receipt that in the unlikely event of any problems the car has to be returned, but a fault after 20 minutes....come on guys. Anyway the car is now sorted by a reputable garage and I would'nt touch Cleckheaton Motor Sales with a barge pole. And will be attempting to claim back my costs. A more reasonable attitude would have resulted in a happy customer.

Car was broke, Clekheaton Motor Sales used a treatment to fix head gasket that failed 5 days later.

i finally found a car I wanted and it was at Cleckheaton Motor Sales,I was paying cash and purchased car with only 6 month left on MOT I asked if I could have some discount regarding this but they won’t budge,They all seem reasonable but could do with smiling it is off putting,they are very busy so probably why they seem so miserable,Hate to think I would have to go back if anything goes wrong with the car.

I bought a Vauxhall corsa from these people and about 2 months later, problems began. It started with the petrol leaking from the car and the car refusing to start. Contacted the garage who were rude stating that this is not their problem. I have spent more money that what I purchased the car for on repairs and still I’ve problem after problem. My advise is not to buy from this garage. They sold me a car that is dangerous to drive!!
