I recently purchased an Audi A3 SE from Cleckheaton Motors. I originally went down to look at a black model but after speaking to the sales manager I purchased an alternative model from their showroom and I'm glad I did. I have never seen a car with so much history. I have every receipt for this car ever. I was allowed to test drive the car and was even left alone to do so. When making the sale the Manager was open and honest about where the car came from (he had purchased it from another dealer) and we came to an agreed price. The car drives great. Unfortunatly the cars Engine management light came on after a few days. I rang the garage back and booked the car back in. I left the car with them and they fixed it and called me back to collect it. They couldn't do enough for me. For me, any garage can sell a car and now warranty is worth the paper its written on, a true representation of a good company to deal with is one that fulfils its personal promise to its customer and for me, these guys did that. Would I go back. Yes, and not just because they have some great bargains or that they really know how to prepare their cars, but because they did as they promised and delivered a great car at a great price and when I did have an issue I was made to feel that they really did care.

I wish I had read these reviews before wasting a 3 hour round trip! We asked the garage for more details before setting off, which took them over an hour to get back to us and we were made to feel like it was an inconvenience to them. We asked what the car was like to drive before setting off but they failed to mention that the car would not even start without jump leads!! The general condition was not as described. Would I recommend? Absolutely not! Do not waste your time like I did!

The customer service of the cleakheaton motor sales team is no existent. They are all nice before you purchase a vehicle from then and then if you ring them with a problem they want nothing to do with you. I bought a Clio from them 2 weeks ago and have had 6 problems with the car all ready. I tried to call and speak to the manager and he told me that they only cover the engine and gear box for 28 days. This is ridiculous. No should expect to by a car and for it to fall to pieces within 2 weeks. Oh and it gets better, as I was explaining this to the manager he told me to **** off and hang up. This is not a review about the wrong business as they keep commenting. This review is about the cleakheaton motor sales! Completely unprofessional and would avoid!

I recently bought a Volkswagen Golf from this garage. The car is everything it was advertised and i haven't had a single problem with it. All of the salesman were extremely helpful and well mannered, they didnt pester me when i first came in they just left me to look around all the cars untill i approached them. I have recommended them to all my family and friends, I also recommend speaking to Josh.

Cleckheaton Motor Sales is the worst garage ever. Lied about everything, didnt fix any of the cars problems, of which there were plenty. Have been very unhelpful ever since and keep hanging up on me when I ring.

What an awful experience we had. My daughter bought her first car on the same day we discovered that the brake pad were worn out and the wheel locking nut was missing. Tried to resolve this with the owner who was so rude and had no respect what so ever for us as his customers .

Clecheaton Motors were very helpful because there was no pressure from sales staff, they left us alone to look around at our own leisure, and were very helpful when you approached them regarding any information on whatever we asked about. So many cars to choose from we were there for two hours and felt totally relaxed. We purchased a VW Golf in the end it was more than we wanted to pay but got a good deal on our old car as a trade in. Would recommend to family and friends. Ask for Josh.

My husband was delighted to find me my dream car which was an 08 Renault Clio Dynamique mk3. Especially as the mileage was clearly stated as 49,000 miles. He travelled to Leeds from Somerset to buy it for me, I was soooo excited. But I haven't been quite so excited since I got the car. It is riddled with minor/major irritating problems. The car wasn't ready when my husband went to pick it up, and luckily for us it was raining, or he would have missed that the windscreen wipers didn't work. The windscreen wiper/ washer motor was dead. After waiting for three hours (after a four hour £117.00 trip on the train) it was apparently mended, but on driving away my husband realised the clock didn't work, the CD/radio didn't work and there was also no air con. Once the car was on the driveway, my husband discovered NO oil in the car, no rear boot brake light, perished door trims and now we have also just found front turning light has no power to it as well as air con fan switch not working on speed 2. Top this off with a clanking sound when you turn hard right which we have discovered is from a replacement CV or shaft. Happy days. Owner states that the warranty (which we still don't have a copy of) only covers engine and gear box. Also the real mileage was 53,000 not as stated in the advert. This car apparently had recently under gone an MOT and service but some of the problems we have encountered would have made this car fail an MOT, and if it was serviced, was serviced by a complete incompetent. Buyer beware of Cleckheaton Motor Sales doesn't tend to deal on the same moral, ethical code as us.
