Absolute joke. Bought a 2008 Corsa. Turns out it has a trouble with its oil pump. After weeks of back and forth they finally accept a repair. I lose the car for 4 weeks during the repair and when I collect it the "fix" clearly isnt working witht he oil light on. No V5 on purchase MOT in 2 months despite being AA registered. MOT failure on bulbs and rollbar end caps. Illegal tyres. Now potentially a blown gasket all since being bought late August.
Avoid this company at all costs. Worst service I've ever received, the staff are ignorant & uninterested. That's the best part! Zero after service despite being told there was "a months warranty". They just don't respond. The car was actually not even roadworthy & we were lucky to make it the one hour journey home. This car had been put through its MOT for the sale & passed with a completely rotten exhaust which fell off 2 days later, the brakes were metal on metal & the engine skid plate fell off 2 weeks later (this had been fastened on with wire ties!) We have now spent almost £1000 on repairs. Please don't buy from this company.
After purchasing a car In Feb 2020 I now find out after trying to trade the car in part exchange that it was a right off, repaired and sold to my daughter under false pretences. At no point was it mentioned that the car had been written off !

This is a true and honest experience. Sent a message on Sunday via auto trader for someone to call me back but no response. Called the main number 6 times on the Monday and both mobile numbers went to voicemail. Left a message there also and still no one responded and now car has sold. Very poor communication and what’s the point of having 3 phones if they don’t return calls. Certainly would not recommend this garage

Avoid Ghost Motors, unless you want to be mis-sold a car and deal with the worst customer service going. I travelled from Scotland to view an Audi A4 2008. Dealership knew I was coming but decided to soak the seats prior to me arriving, obviously to prohibit me test driving the car. Looked past this and bought car as dealership is (somehow) AA approved, despite this the car had over £1,800 of faults, such as power steering, tracking, indicators and temperature sensor. Dealership advised me to get repairs done at local garage and that they would reimburse me, I was pleased at this outcome. However days turned into weeks and still no payment was made despite me sending them bank details and calling multiple times to request payment be made. Also had to file for V5 myself with keeper slip as they had not informed DVLA after purchase. Reported Ghost Motors to the Motor Ombudsman, the AA and trading standards for mis-selling car and falsely advertising under AA dealer promise. I will purse small claims or section 75 chargeback if need be.
Honest review, Been a few times over the last few weeks and finally seen a car and asked for a test drive, the staff obliged and were pretty decent in fairness weren't fazed by us interrupting their lunch break to get a test drive, so far seems good. Noticed the brakes on the car were very low so we decided to purchase it on the basis that the brakes get sorted out, were not pushy at all regarding the warranty etc after a little chasing went to collect the car and paid the final fee. On the passenger seat was an invoice for disks and pads all around so we drove home, noticed the window had a new chip in it also the brakes squeaking a little so thought they were just bedding in, and also a new knocking noise that wasn't there on the test drive. Reached out to them and eventually got a text saying "bring it back" so I did a little digging online about the aftercare reviews and was shocked. took the car to a local trusted mechanic and found that all the brakes were Faulty near enough worn to the metal on all wheels, the drop-link on the driver's side was completely shot and needs urgent replacement, Also the top mount and shockers are gone with the wind on the driver's side. Decided to get my mechanic to do the work Just for the fact that this car has an MOT? which I am now debating also it had an invoice to say the disks and pads all around were done the day before we collected the vehicle. would you take the car back to them to get fixed? I would never go here again and I do love the car and I can't say the staff were ever rude pushy or anything like that they helped whenever we needed it and also left us alone and didn't hound us for a sale. My advice, if you are buying a car from here take a mechanic, take it on a really good test drive over bumpy roads too and make sure everything works as it should the Car does need a full Valet / Clean it stinks inside and was filthy when we collected it Overall its cost us about another £500 in unplanned additional work but at least we know the works actually been done and to a high standard
They won't let you do an AA check, but there is a reason for that. 2 days after purchase engine management light came on and car was bunny hopping. (Exhaust repaired prior to purchase) Been told I need to give them a chance to repair. Legally that is incorrect and they are point blank refusing to give me my money back. Will be taking further action, if necessary small claims court, but avoid like the plague. Seem nice and friendly until you realise they've sold you a lemon. Oh and you have to get the car back to them regardless of problem

Stay well away from these thieves! My 17 year old son rang about a car and was told it was ready to drive away, we traveled 1 hot 30 minutes the next morning to view it., when we arrived they pulled the car out for us to test drive and he told us it had a ABS fault and the engine management lights was on. Being my sons first car he was devastated and was desperate and for one, while we were there he picked another one which we were told was ready to drive away which we did. We got home and an hour later he went to drive it for the first time and the clutch had gone, we phoned up the next morning after getting 3 quotes to be told they would only pay half, we have since phoned 9 times and text but will now not answer or reply to messages. Horrific company.

I phone about a car to buy it they blocked my number raised the price and downed the mileage how does this happen ,
THE worst dealership, lies after lies paid a deposit and for a car for them to. Ring me 5 days later to say it’s ready travelled 45 minutes to stand around for half an hour for some lad to come to me and tell me there’s an engine light on the dash and It neeeds to go back into the garage after me questioning everything as to why they rang me in the first place he was very aggressive and angry so I asked to speak to his boss and he stormed off I waited another 15 minutes for the boss to come out and be rude and obnoxious. Sold my car because I thought this one was ready and now I have been 2 weeks without a car. Customer service is an absolute disgrace and they are cowboys with the cars, you’ll see someone polishing cars but under the bonnet is a nightmare. STAY well clear if you don’t want stress. 151 other people cannot be wrong also.
