We brought an Astra yesterday from this garage! They where helpful , honest and so helpful ! We broke down (which was our own fault) and they came out to help us and even brought a spare car invade we needed one! Thanks for all your help.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Only put 1 star so I could put a review!The worse experience I have ever had when buying a car! Took the car back 2 times and never did anything to it to put it right. The owner Mick is very aggressive and after a phone call started blaming me for it not being right and started swearing at me! I even asked for my money back and he said no! The other guy RIchard is just as bad as is basically a yes man and a liar. If you want a bad experience and want to deal with a bunch of crooks and have to spend your own putting things right do go here! They sell shoddy merchandise and if anything goes wrong they will bodge things to just get rid of you till you just get sick of them!

Mick and the rest of the team have always been honest and helpful on the three occasions I have bought cars from them. Its obvious that I would recommend them.

My Son and I went to view a Hyundai i20 at Clipstone Car Sales, advertised with a mileage of 45,000. We were travelling from afar, so I gave a deposit of £100, to ensure it was not sold before we arrived. The mileage was actually 49,000 and after taking the car for a test drive it was obvious the break discs were completely worn and urgently in need of replacing. Mike,(I presume is the owner), was not prepared to negotiate on the price and when I told him I couldn't pay the asking price, with the car in it's current condition, he refused to return my deposit. I found him aggressive and patronising and clearly dishonest. I have telephoned him several times to request he returns my deposit and on the last occasion he just laughed at me. I have reported him to Trading Standards and I intend to take him to the small claims court to retrieve my deposit, he is unlawfully withholding my money. Please be aware that this is clearly not a car dealership that you want to have any dealings with and I am very glad we decided not to buy from this particular car dealer.

I have just purchased & collected my 5th car from Clipstone Car Sales. I can't thank them enough, Mick & Janet and all their staff from Richard right down to the Apprentice are really nice and certainly know their stuff and offer an excellent after sales service too. You can ask them anything and they are always happy to help. Nothing is too much trouble. My first car was written off and it left me a bit stuck - I rang and told them my predicament... single, female & disabled within a couple of days they had delivered a replacement vehicle fully valeted with all relevant paperwork. I could not ask for a better service. I knew exactly where I was going when it was time for a replacement and as always experienced a first class service. I just cannot recommend them highly enough. I had my previous car for a number of years and I needed to get some repairs done I got a price which was ridiculously expensive, I called Mick at Clipstone and he arranged to have the car collected. They left me with a replacement and carried out the repairs at a fraction of the price and delivered it back to me in a couple of days. I am always remembered when I call and they are just a lovely bunch of people I would not buy my vehicles anywhere else. When friends & family ask me if I can recommend a reputable company for buying a car Clipstone is always top of my list.

This is the third car I have had from Clipstone car sales, and I cannot fault the service from the sale staff or garage team. I knew exactly what I was getting on every car, as I was given a detailed 'pre - delivery inspection' sheet prior to picking up the cars. The last car I bought needed a little work doing before I could take it and the garage gave me a courtesy car to run round in. Buy with confidence

I found the garage staff very helpful and also while they was fixing a couple miner faults I had use of one of their courtesy cars

Lots of promises before paying .Then just leave you dry when any issues with car arise . Said we had a warranty that we rang up with a minor fault that was present when purchased but not advised off and suddenly we don't have a warranty that they said we would have.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! All they sell are fault cars! Had to spend almost £1000 to an Astra I bought from them under 5 months fixed. ALL YOU WILL GET FOR YOUR MONEY IS RUBBISH, stress and faults to drain your cash!!
