Called in to look at the cars after seeing some great adverts on Facebook as I’m never off it .greated me on forecourt and I had loads of questions.the salesman put me at ease and came up with an affordable finance package.mot at all pushy and very knowledgeable .the choice is brilliant and I’m also speaking to my mate as he’s looking for something too and chat to my other half. Well worth the visit to Compact Cars in Bridgend.

I bought a car 12 months ago from Compact Cars and have spent a little over £5000 in repairs, it’s had the engine out of it twice for a dodgy timing chain which the car logged as a fault before it was sold to me, took it back several times to be told there was nothing wrong with it, after which I took it to a certified bmw specialist who told me it was unsafe to drive, to which the owner of compact cars told me we won’t do anything until the car breaks down because of the problem, baring in mind when the said problem happens the engine blows resulting in loss of braking and steering, this man is an absolute con artist who said he was happy for me to drive this car with children in, steer clear I now have a 7,000 pound that is undrivable and currently of the road

I must say that after buying many used cars over the years, these were a breath of fresh air. No stress no pushing just advice. I went to look at one car and after discussing my needs, was actually offered a lower value vehicle. In all my years of driving this is the first time I have experienced this. I pressed 4 stars by mistake it should be 10. Keep up the good work guys!! I’ll be back again Ronald

i needed a car quickly and i cannot praise them enough for getting my motor motd and serviced, been there before for my last car and have to say tidy honest and helpful, will go back to compact cars.

Compact Cars are the worst car dealer I've ever bought a car from.

Oct 2017 bought a fiat Multipla from Compact Cars on their Pay as you Drive scheme. Guys in the office were great, friendly and everything was going to be hunky dory from then on in. Get the car home. Two days later ball joints on left passenger side come loose. Bad knocking underneath ever since. Tyres looked fairly new when in car lot, started going bald very quickly a month or so afterwards. Grinding sound in rear right wheel due to corroded bearings, 5 months after general use of the car back and fore to work. Brake pads fell off car as I was parking, discs warped also. Clutch is also on its way out. MOT from OCT 2017 say no faults or advisories. All the issues should have at least been advisories or MOT failure. After ball joints became loose, contacted compact cars, was told to call back Monday to get the car in for repair. Phoned back Monday, fully booked for the week. After several months of the same thing, multiple excuses, I gave up calling, just being fobbed off every time. The other day, when the brake pads fell off, I decided to withhold anymore payments so I can save up to repair the car with a garage I trust. Recommend no one buys from compact Cars. I have reported them to Trading Standards.

Just picked up my third car in seven years from Compact Cars. I am a very fussy person so two repeat purchases speak for themselves. Very professional and highly recommended.

Surprised by some of these reviews. I purchased a Mini from Compact Cars on the 21st Feb and as with all other cars I've bought the service has been fantastic and zero problems. And the aftercare is always great. Can only imagine there's a few on here who haven't actually purchased a vehicle from them but rather have an axe to grind.
